Actionstep is a pioneer in the development and sale of software-as-a-service (SaaS) products, specializing in the delivery of Legal Accounting and Legal Practice Management software. We are a fast-growing, dynamic business with a global customer base and team. We are expanding our sales team to drive our business growth in the Emerging Firm Legal market. We are currently looking for a rockstar Account Executive to join the team. 

Based in the United States, but also with the ability to work remotely, you will have proven SaaS software sales experience in the Legal Industry. In this opportunity, you will grow the Actionstep Emerging Market customer base in an underserved market of over 400K smaller law firms across the US. As someone who is self-motivated and results orientated, you will generate new customer opportunities through effective prospecting, delivery of outbound activities, solutioning, funnel management, forecasting and closing sales. What you will be doing 

  • Prospect and develop relationships in key customer groups and regions to generate sales opportunities and grow the customer base with firms 10 employees and under.  
  • Review, qualify and close all inbound leads with a view to maximizing target successes.  
  • Perform outbound sales activities that build the Actionstep sales pipeline and generates new customer leads. 
  • Lead and deliver effective demonstrations of the Actionstep to prospective customers. 
  • Nurture and leverage business from new and established customer relationships, associations, and network groups. 
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Product, and in-region Customer Growth team members to bring market insights and marketing ideas to assist in the execution of a sales strategy.  
  • Proactively seeking out networking opportunities, participation in industry events, webinars, and user groups to develop personal and Actionstep profile in the market. 
  • Further, develop and grow your sales technique with the support and sponsorship of your sales leadership.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

This role is part of the Partnerships Team, whose mission is to increase the value we provide our Customers through strategic partnerships with trusted and experienced Partners. The Partner Account Manager (PAM) is responsible for working to help attract and build an industry leading partner ecosystem. Internally, the PAM will help manage multiple Actionstep partner relationships and acts as the champion for our Partners at Actionstep. This role spans all internal Actionstep departments (sales, product, customer, legal, marketing, and ops) to scale and enhance the reach of each of our partnerships. Externally, the PAM serves as the champion for our Partner ecosystem and is responsible for developing and managing relationships, as well as driving growth across all facets of our Partnerships. 

 

Overall: 

  • Manage and own the overall relationship between Actionstep and our Partners 
  • Establish deep personal relationships with our Partners 
  • Drive onboarding, training, certification, enablement and ongoing education for Partners  
  • Represent the Partner point of view internally at Actionstep 
  • Represent the Actionstep point of view external with our Partners 
  • Develop annual account planning sessions to cover all facets of our Partnerships (sales, services, marketing, product) 
  • Plan and execute monthly Partner meetings focused on continuous Partner collaboration, improvement, and development 
  • Drive and own all Partnerships documentation for Partners 

Sales: 

  • Collaborate with Partner to develop new pipeline and close new business 
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to manage pipeline, and ensure project timeframes and project costs are established in line with Actionstep best practices 
  • Collaborate with sales and teams to ensure accurate scoping, resourcing and estimations during the pre-sales process 

Marketing: 

  • Work with Litify marketing team to lead and drive Partner marketing plan and strategy 
  • Assist with coordination of Partner marketing activities (events, conferences, webinars, sponsorships, white papers, etc.) 
  • Ensure adoption and engagement of Litify’s Partner Community with Partners 

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 3+ years of relationship management, legal or consulting experience 
  • Ability to cultivate deep relationships and establish rapport with Partner stakeholders 
  • Team player with personable presence and ability to collaborate across all departments 
  • Strong relationship management and conflict resolution skills 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication with experience making presentations to key stakeholders 
  • Willingness to travel to industry locations, events, conferences, and client meetings as needed for Partners

THE PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE

The Senior Product Manager for Integrations will deliver roadmap initiatives that will bring products all the way from concept to launch and into lifecycle management.  This role will play an integral part in the organisation to manage and maintain overall user experience using applied design thinking, agile and lean practices.

The Senior Product Manager for Integrations will maintain assigned products, manage ongoing product planning, requirements, development of new features, functionality and integrations.  The role is ultimately tasked with the delivery of unique value-based products based on customer insights.

The Senior Product Manager for Integrations will also take responsibility for the creation of a product vision and strategy, product governance and senior stakeholder communication.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

In this role, you will be accountable to…

§  Develop and execute the product vision and strategy for integrations with partners and third-party services.

§  Conduct customer discovery for API and integration solutions to identify user needs and inform product development.

§  Collaborate with engineering, design, and partner teams to design and launch APIs and integrations that meet customer needs.

§  Monitor and analyze user engagement and satisfaction with integrations to drive continuous improvement.

§  Engage with partners to foster collaboration and identify new integration opportunities.

Actionstep is looking for an ambitious Product Marketing Specialist. Reporting to our Product Marketing Manager as part of our market strategy team, you will closely partner with our Marketing & Product Development teams throughout the product life cycle to understand and help communicate the functionality and value being delivered to customers. You will work crossfunctionally to plan and deliver new product launches. You will also collaborate more broadly with our Solution Consulting, Sales and Customer teams to deeply understand our application space, our competition and why our customers need & choose our solution. You will use this knowledge to inform new feature and product launch positioning, roll-out and successful adoption. This is an exciting product & feature launch focused role, spanning: assimilation of user research, roadmap asset communication, product launch planning, and cross-functional launch enablement.

List Major Responsibilities of This Position:

• Launch protocols: Support and iterate on our set of launch protocols for different launch types based on possible revenue impact, user breadth, value to users, etc.

• Launch planning: Create detailed cross-functional launch plans for new products and features. Communicate these in effective written and visual formats to secure buy-in from leadership and other key stakeholders.

• Launch enablement: Work to educate and support sales, partner and customer teams on product and feature functionality & value, using materials and briefing sessions to help the customer team expand customer use of Actionstep and help sales to close more deals and shorten sales cycles.

• Launch execution: Ensure marketing readiness for product/feature launch in line with product development schedules

• Positioning & value propositions: Develop new product / feature positioning and messaging based on clear understanding of the value and benefits of new functionality for different user types

• Content creation: Creation of high-quality content and visual assets to support stakeholder buy-in, product adoption and customer engagement (product / feature spec sheets, product blogs, product roadmap presentations), working with Content Marketing and Demand Gen team.

• Product / feature adoption: Measure product and feature adoption efforts, work with product team to identify and understand possible impediments to adoption and work with colleagues in marketing team to pivot messaging or tactics to improve adoption where necessary

• Competitor and buyer research: Competitor research, creation and maintenance of competitor battlecards, opportunity win-loss analysis. Assimilation of market research to understand the drivers of legaltech buying decisions and cycles.

• User research: Assimilating learnings from user research into our collective understanding of our product and feature functionality, use cases and value. Testing and validation of our ICP. Education and Training Require

This role is required to be in our LoDo Denver office two days a week.

• 3 years experience in a hands-on SaaS B2B Product Marketing role.

• Established track record of planning and executing on product launches and roll-out
