Key Job Responsibilities
Share the benefits of Casebook’s products to prospective customers in the eastern United States and Canada:
Local and state government agencies and departments,
SMB nonprofits in human services/social services,
Tribal government organizations.
Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve the revenue necessary to attain quota. Quota is 3x On Track Earnings (OTE).
Generate sales leads from existing and new relationships and follow up on marketing-generated leads.
Maintain a healthy pipeline (3.5-4x quota) and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Have the ability to establish strong business relationships with nonprofit and government leaders.
Develop sales opportunities into signed deals.
Monitor the market, maintaining an awareness of competitor activity and passing this information, through proper channels, to the product management and sales teams.
Maintaining up-to-date records in the CRM (currently Hubspot)
Ability to travel approximately up to 10%, sometimes on weekends for conferences, client meetings, or internal meetings.

Casebook PBC is looking for a Technical Pre-sales Solutions Consultant to join as a key member of the Revenue team.

The Technical Solutions Consultant (TSC) will work as a member of the Revenue Pre-Sales team and is a key stakeholder in the sales process, demonstrating how Casebook can positively impact nonprofits and government organizations by solving a set of challenges common to organizations that serve others. The TSC will be intimately involved with APIs, interoperability tools, sales demo skills, and familiar with AWS cloud concepts. Solutions Consultants regularly collaborate with Casebook’s Software Account Executives and act as a bridge to the Product Development and Customer Experience teams. Documenting internal and external feature requests and advocating for the needs of prospects that meet our ideal customer profile is a big part of the role.
The person in this role will:
Demonstrate Casebook’s software capabilities as a solution for potential customers in a professional presentation format.
Meet with prospective customers and stakeholders to answer technical questions
Act as product expert for the sales team
Create meaningful content outlining technical solutions for use within marketing and sales cycle
Become the company’s primary expert on the functionality of the Casebook platform and the most common use cases of Casebook customers
Build proofs of concept with Casebook, and demonstrate integration and interoperability use cases that utilize Casebook's API
Strong understanding and experience configuring cloud security including SSO & MFA.
Maintain and expand the company’s Consensus demo video library
Show prospective customers how to positively impact their growing organizations with Casebook through demonstrations of Casebook (primarily virtually, via Zoom)
Document needs of prospects you work with in CRM (Hubspot) and collaborate with the Account Executive to develop follow-up materials (demo videos, proposals) as necessary
Work closely with members of the revenue team initially upon hire, and on an ongoing basis, on sales demo skills and how to demo new features
Experience documenting integration and interoperability requirements in an enterprise environment is a plus
Participate in marketing events such as tradeshows and conferences as well as company and team off-site events (Estimated Travel up to 10%)
2+ years experience in a pre-sales role
Experience or technical-level knowledge of cloud concepts, cloud security, data migration/conversion, integration, and cloud software architecture
2+ years human services experience
Extensive experience presenting to C-level executives in nonprofit and/or government organizations
Experience demonstrating software in a sales environment
Light coding skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies at a high-level.
For example, this role may be called upon to:
Read the requirements of a State IT Security standard and determine if Casebook meets the requirements through your own knowledge and by collaborating with members of the Product Development team
Use n8n, Zapier, or similar tool and work with Product Development to create an integration proof-of-concept
Create a report or build a complex reporting dashboard prior to a demonstration with Casebook's internal reporting tools.
