Dungarvin is hiring a Remote Mental Health Program Manager (MHPD)

Job Description

In this exciting role you are responsible for the coordination and supervising one to two residential programs that specialize in supporting individuals with challenging behavioral and mental health needs.  As a Mental Health Program Director your two key priorities include supervising and training of mental health specialists and ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. 

Work Environment and Office Hours

Typical office hours Monday through Friday full-time and available on-call throughout the week with weekends off. This position is in-office providing site supervision for direct care staff.

Position begins at $61,500 annually 

This position is eligible for a Retention/Sign-On Bonus to total $5,000. 

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience supervising programs that oversee services for people with behavioral and serious persistent mental health needs.
  • A four-year degree in behavioral science, or related field, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Current auto liability insurance with reliable transportation
  • Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record
  • Designated Manager status per 245D licensing

Dungarvin is hiring a Remote Direct Support Professional Caregiver - Full Time Float Staff

Job Description

As a Direct Support Professional/Caregiver with Dungarvin, you will be traveling between three different homes and providing staffing coverage, fill-in support, covering staff paid time off, and filling open and/or temporary positions to support individual with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD).  

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care at designated residential homes. 
  • Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.   
  • Provide companionship and personalized care with respect and dignity while encouraging independence and self-care.   
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.   
  • Prepare meals and snacks.  
  • Light household duties.  
  • Assist with daily living activities.
  • Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices.   
  • Community activities and outings.
  • Implementing positive behavior supports. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation and proof of insurance
  • Ability to travel to three different homes within Portland metro community. 
  • Previous caregiving experience.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training
  • Ability to learn different supports from medical to behavioral.
  • Person-centered, patient, and kind.
  • Flexible, dependable, adaptable.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and decision-making skills
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions. 
  • Successful candidates will be required to meet all Oregon State Department of Human Services requirements.
