WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Design and develop highly scalable, elastic cloud architectures that integrate seamlessly with on-premises systems.
  • Identify and pursue technical opportunities to enhance the efficiency of Egnyte’s cloud platform.
  • Collaborate with multicultural, geographically distributed teams, and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to drive innovation and contribute to the development of new technologies.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Computer Scienceor a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven track record in designing and developing complex systems.
  • Expertise in designing and building highly scalable and resilient cloudarchitectures, with experience in GCP or similar cloud platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Java; experience with Python and Golang is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Comprehensive experience managing all phases of software development, from design to implementation, QA, and maintenance.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making process

Right now, we are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer. You will be ensuring reliability for large-scale software - we’re talking 22k+ customers, over 6000 instances across geo-distributed Data Centers and Cloud providers, as well as an average of 2k API requests per second as per New Relic. People who own their work from start to finish are integral to Egnyte’s success. Our engineers are part of the whole process: from design through coding and testing to the deployment and back again for further iterations. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  Leadthe Monetization Infrastructure engineering team in our Poland site, reporting to the Platform Engineering VP.

 Behands-on and lead from the front; provide technical inputs and direction to the group as necessary. Participate and contribute to system designs and code reviews.

  Ensurehigh quality operation of the systems under your responsibility. Drive a culture of ownership and continuous operational improvement.

  Collaboratewith key stakeholders, such as Finance, Product Management and other Engineering groups to implement end-to-end use cases and support high quality of service.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

 Managed engineering teams in SaaS product companies - Team/Tech lead experience is sufficient

  Hands-on: understand and be able to contribute to system designs. Past background as a full-stack staff engineer, or architect with a track record of releasing widely adopted solutions.

 Pastbackground in Python (mandatory) and Java (desirable).

The Partner Development Manager is an experienced channel sales professional responsible for implementing and building and growing indirect and influence sales in their designated region, with the primary goal of sales acceleration through pipeline generation with partners. The PDM will build credibility and trust to drive partner wallet-share in Egnyte. The role involves execution of all aspects of channel management including partner recruitment, enablement, strategic partner planning, on-going partner management, and co-selling into end-customer organizations with resellers and/or influence partners. The PDM will be a primary contact for territory channel partners and will be responsible for managing the overall corporate relationship with those partners.  

   

The PDM will also need to build trust,credibilityand relevance with reseller and Egnyte sales teams. Therefore, experience in customer sales to coach partners in selling Egnyte technology would be helpful. By extension, driving strategic alignment between our Egnyte direct sales teams and will be a critical success factor. This will require working with Egnyte Sales Managers to develop and evangelize the regional channel plan that accelerates the regions overall sales performance.  

   

   

WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

  • Act as overall quarterback for the reseller business within the region – driving a comprehensive territory plan that identifies go-to partnerswithin each territory covering all Egnyte technology specializations, engaging Egnyte specialists as needed to build partnercompetency.
  • Create a strong partner eco-system in your territory by identifying and onboarding newpartners.

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The Monetization Infrastructure team is responsible for all the systems that power Egnyte’s back office: billing, customer intake, account lifecycle and many others. This highly crucial function combines strong business attachment with technical complexity due to Egnyte’s scale and strong pace of innovation.
 
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Lead the Monetization Infrastructure engineering group, reporting to the Platform Engineering VP.
  • Be hands-on and lead from the front; provide technical inputs and direction to the group as necessary. Participate and contribute to system designs and code reviews.
  • Ensure high quality operation of the systems under your responsibility. Drive a culture of ownership and continuous operational improvement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as Finance, Product Management and other Engineering groups to implement end-to-end use cases and support high quality of service.
  • The team is distributed between our India and East Europe sites. Ability to lead teams across geographies is highly desirable.
 
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Managed 10+ people engineering teams in SaaS product companies.
  • Hands-on: understand and be able to contribute to system designs. Past background as a staff engineer or architect with a track record of releasing widely adopted solutions.
  • Past background in Python (mandatory) and Java (desirable).
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure or AWS) and infrastructure as code concepts is highly desirable.
  • Experience in leading distributed teams.

Our Performance Engineering team enables Egnyte to deliver high-performance, scalable, and reliable web applications. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop tools to measure and monitor performance bottlenecks within web applications.
  • Triage reported performance issues andcreatereproducible test scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Production and Application Engineering teams to design and execute production scenarios for code and third-party performance assessment.
  • Develop and run PSR (Performance, Scalability, Reliability) tests, and measure relevant performance statistics.
  • Work with various sub-teams to ensure that SLAs for core APIs are tracked and maintained across releases.
  • Conduct application and architecture code profiling to identify performance issues.
  • Perform infrastructure and application performance tuning to optimize overall system performance.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, identifying and resolving root causes.
  • Analyze large volumes of performance data to diagnose and solve performance problems.
  • Perform capacity estimation, modeling, and planning to ensure scalability and reliability.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer scienceor a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in performance engineering.
  • Expert knowledge and strong experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner and JMeter, along with a deep understanding of APM solutions such as Grafana, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace.
  • Hands-on experience with microservice architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GCP, and application monitoring tools.
  • Strong expertise in monitoring and analyzing application logs, database reports, and system metrics (e.g., CPU utilization, memory usage, network usage, garbage collection, and database parameters).
  • Proven ability to identify potential performance issues and provide actionable recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Proficiency in JVM technology with strong JVM troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in debugging large-scale applications in production environments.
  • Expertise in JVM profiling, garbage collection (GC) analysis, and tuning.
  • Extensive experience with performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We store multibillion files and multiple petabytes of data. We observe more than 11K APIrequests per second on average. Tomake that possible and to provide the best possibleexperience, we rely on great engineers. For us, people who own their work, from start to finishare integral. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design, build and maintain self-hosted and cloud environments to serve our ownapplications and services
  • Collaborate with software developers to build stable, scalable andhigh performancesolutions
  • Taking part in big projects like migrating solutions from self-hosted environments to the cloud, from virtual machines to Kubernetes, from monolith to microservices
  • Advising others as to how DevOps can make a positive impact on their work
  • Share knowledge,andmentorjunior team members while also still learning and gaining new skills
  • Maintain consistently high standards of communication, productivity, and teamworkacross all teams

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of proven experienceasa DevOps Engineer, System Administrator orDeveloper role, working on infrastructure or build processes
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure
  • Programming prowess (Python, Golang)
  • Knowledge and experience about deployment and maintenance of Java and Pythonapps using application and web servers (Tomcat, Nginx, etc.)
  • Ability to solve complex problems with simple, elegant and clean code
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD solutions, GitLab CI or similar
  • Practical knowledge of Docker as a tool for testing and building an environment
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and related technologies
  • Experience with metric-based monitoring solutions
  • Solid English skills to effectively communicate with other team members
  • Good understanding of the Linux Operating System on the administration level
  • Drive to grow as a DevOps Engineer (we value open-mindedness and a can-do attitude)
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive big projects
