We are searching for a Pricing & Promotions Analyst to provide analysis and support in the development of FMIC brands’ Price and Promotional strategies, for the Direct-to-Consumer sites and the wider UK and European organisation.    Site coverage support includes Fender.com, Jacksonguitars.com and PreSonus.com.

Main Responsibilities 

  • Maintain the market intelligence tool and data feeds for Fender, Jackson & PreSonus catalogue across multiple markets and currencies.
  • Perform pricing data ingestion to analyse files and make recommendations based on market & sales trends.
  • Maintain price list feeds into the ERP & tech stack covering; MSRP GBP, EUR, SEK, DKK, NOK and consumer GBP & multiple EUR price lists.
  • Build & maintain DTC promotions in the eCommerce platform in multiple markets & currencies.
  • Produce and distribute regular reports on the EMEA market from a price & promotional perspective.
  • Analyse the competitive landscape to understand emerging trends & suggest data lead strategic price changes at a country & product level.
  • Review promotional performance to inform future planning.
  • Collaborate with the eCommerce Merchandisers to strategically plan product & category placements on FMIC websites at a country level.
  • Provide DTC strategy as well as market insights to inform Demand Planning.
  • Work closely with the eCommerce Manager EMEA and wider eCommerce, Marketing, Product and FP&A teams to execute plans to meet revenue objectives.

Person Specification

  • The ideal candidate has experience as a pricing or promotions analyst in an eCommerce business or similar role such as a buyer or finance analyst in a commercial setting where price strategy is a key driver of business success.
  • Experienced and comfortable processing large data sets working across various IT & technology platforms.
  • Ability to conduct reviews of large bodies of data in a self-sufficient manner.
  • Naturally conscious of & pays close attention to detail.

Essential Functions:

  • Be a global thought leader driving logistics and trade processes, technology, and people management to reach new heights – fostering an environment of growth and optimization for FMIC
  • Monitor financial performance, including cost control, budget adherence, and margin impact.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners (suppliers, carriers, regulatory authorities, customs brokers, technology, manufacturing, customers) as well as internal customers (sales, finance, planning, IT, etc).
  • Maintains a high level of transparency and provides excellent communication to all stakeholders through the effective use of oral, written, and non-verbal communication.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in global logistics, regulatory requirements and supply chain management.
  • Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and controls to manage trade compliance risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Create a logistics and trade technology roadmap for visibility, reporting, database management, auditing tools and KPIs.
  • Maintain FTZ operational compliance and support global fulfillment network roadmap for FTZ
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable international trade laws and regulations, including export control, import regulations, sanctions, and customs requirements.

Qualifications:

role will manage all aspects of the sales function covering partners in Italy across the M.I/Pro
Audio and Live Sound markets, supporting and maintaining existing and new customer
relationships while striving to achieve the sales targets assigned to the region.
Essential Functions:
 Manage and develop the business relationship with all sales channel partners
(dealers/systems integrators/sub distributors) in the region
 Strive to achieve budgeted sales targets, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
 Develop local business plans, creating local sales forecast and sales analysis.
 Manage promotional and marketing plans in line with communicated EMEA team
objectives
 Work with the sales and marketing teams at the London EMEA office, to help develop
new sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and go to market strategies.
 Manage sales channel partner accounts, ensuring terms and conditions, sales policies
and rebate schemes are adhered to.
 Make regular visits to all sales channel partners (existing and prospective)
 Maintain a high level of product knowledge for the PreSonus product lines
 Deliver product knowledge training to sales channel partner staff on PreSonus products.
 Monitor and report on market trends/changes, and work with EMEA sales lead to help
ensure sales actions and go to market strategy remains effective.
 Ensure optimal product representation in-store and online for all sales channel partners
 Ensure sales channel partners optimal stock levels are maintained, that new products
are presented at the earliest opportunity, and exit strategies for discontinued products
are implemented.
 Identify and liaise with local artists (music creation, mixing, engineering, production, live
sound, etc) as necessary to develop strong relationships (in co-operation with the Artist
Relations team in USA).
 Additional duties as assigned
 
Essential Criteria
 Proven experience in sales and marketing or business development
 Proven track record in the M.I/Pro Audio market
 Strong understanding of the DAW/computer music marketplace
 Strong understanding of music creation, mixing and audio production
 Extensive knowledge of the PreSonus product range
 Ability to present with confidence to staff, business partners and clients.

 Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain working
relationships.
 Good planning and organizational skills and ability to be a self-starter.
 Excellent business acumen with strong instinct for growth opportunities
 Fluent in Italian and English
 Proficient in Microsoft Office
Desirable but not essential
 Experience in the Live Sound market
 In depth knowledge of the Live Sound market in Italy
 First hand experience working with PreSonus
