About the Role

As an experienced Billing Coordinator for pharmacy accounts, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team to support our clinic and operations team. 

This role will greatly emphasize customer relations- you must be comfortable interacting, communicating, and working directly with patients and pharmacy staff.

Responsibilities

  • Daily communication with the pharmacy regarding patient demographic details and prescription orders
  • Work in conjunction with pharmacy to invoice patients and daily reconciliation of prescriptions
  • Entry of billable items into the practice management system
  • Handle patient intake phone calls and email inquiries, review light clinical information, and review in-network insurance information with the patient
  • Verify patient eligibility and benefits and provide details 
  • Review of orders with patients to include employer benefit coverage and out-of-pocket responsibilities
  • Respond to and complete internal communication flags of patients needing to be contacted or problems that need to be resolved.
  • Answer any incoming patient emails on financial matters, triaging any non-financial needs or questions
  • Maintains current knowledge in pharmacy billing requirements related to employer/third-party 
  • Effective communication abilities for phone contacts with insurance payers to resolve issues
  • Customer service skills for interacting with patients regarding medical claims and payments
  • Research and resolve any discrepancies, denials, appeals, collections
  • Set up patient payment plans and work collection accounts
  • Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing information
  • Process claims and post payments.
  • Process insurance payments, including balance billing to secondary insurance and/or directly to patients.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all unpaid claims utilizing monthly aging reports
  • Analyze rejected and outstanding claims, troubleshoot errors and rejection codes, and correct and re-submit all denied claims.
  • Properly note the system and maintain all documentation required for compliant claim submission.
  • Prepare and process refund requests.
  • Verify and post patient amounts.
  • Respond to a high volume of telephone inquiries in a positive and professional manner, and resolve and follow up on all issues within designated timeframes.
  • Meet positional metrics and benchmarks.
  • Maintain the highest degree of ethics when handling patient payments and bill processing
  • Follow all department standard operating procedures carefully and accurately
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director.

 

Who You Are 

  • 2+ years of healthcare experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, Fertility financial experience, and pharmacy a plus
  • A passion for women’s health, and fertility is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills & a team player
  • Willingness to be flexible, roll with the punches, multi-task, and troubleshoot problems
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Exemplifies amazing customer service skills and professionalism
  • Experience in CPT and ICD-10 coding; familiarity with medical terminology
  • Ability to manage relationships with various insurance payers
  • Experience in filing claim appeals with insurance companies to ensure maximum entitled reimbursement.
  • Certificate from an accredited medical and billing school.

About the Role

As a Traveling Senior Embryologist at Kindbody, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism and collaboration. The hours will be determined based on availability and need, with occasional weekend and holiday shifts. This position will provide coverage across the country to our network of clinics.

 

About the Role

As an experienced Senior Embryologist reporting to our Lab Managers in various locations, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. Proposed Schedule: 3 weeks in lab (travel day included) and 1 week remote admin work. Ideally we would desire three 6 day batches, two 9 day batches or one, 14 day batch per month.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assisted reproductive technology methods including, but not limited to, semen preparation, oocyte identification conventional IVF, ICSI, embryo culture and grading, laser assisted hatching, trophectoderm biopsy, sperm, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation (vitrification).
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records
  • Perform quality control procedures and monitor KPIs
  • Participate in the laboratory’s quality management program
  • Coordinate with reproductive endocrinologists and OB/GYNs to assist their patients with reproductive health issues and clinical research. 
  • Educate patients on infertility evaluations, medications, treatment protocols and procedures
  • Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
  • Ensure all patient information is documented appropriately in our EMR according to our procedures
  • Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved
  • Support and promote excellence in customer service
  • Provide feedback to HQ on process improvement and job specifications to help gain efficiencies in the day to day

Who you are:

  • Willingness to be flexible and travel nationwide to any of our 36 clinics
  • 6+ years experience in clinical embryology  {3-4 of which are micromanipulation}
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Proficiency in all IVF laboratory methods including micromanipulation techniques and vitrification
  • Detail oriented, meticulous record-keeping
  • Strong communication skills & a team player
  • Familiarity with all state and local regulations including tissue bank licensing
  • Experienced in EMR and G-Suite

About the Role

As an experienced Patient Experience Navigator reporting to our Practice Manager, you will promote and enhance the patients’ health and experience by providing patient support through excellent attention to detail and proactive customer service. This role is a full-time position.

 

Responsibilities

About the Role

As an experienced Enterprise Financial Navigator, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role is a full-time remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all work streams related to operationalizing Kindbody’s Benefit Products and Programs

About the Role

As an experienced Insurance Verification of Benefits Coordinator reporting to our Associate Director, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This position is a fully remote role.

About the Role

About the Role

As an experienced Customer Service (CX) Patient Care Navigatorreporting to our Customer Success Manager,you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment to promote Kiindbody services while supporting patients and members throughout their Kindbody journey, leveraging your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role is a FULL TIMEposition and is remote.

 

Responsibilities

  • Patient Support  

○ Support and respond to patient inquiries across multiple channels (phone, email, secure message, etc.) in a timely manner

○ Promote Kindbody services and schedule patient appointments 

○ Provide issue resolution and de-escalate irate patients as needed   

  • Confirm member eligibility and assist with proper account creation and setup
  • Promote and educate eligible members on benefits, tracks members’ journey, and provide frequent follow ups 
  • Coordinate across internal and external departments (clinics, billing, partner clinics, pharmacies, COE, provider relations, etc.) as needed to ensure the highest satisfaction for members and employer groups
  • And other responsibilities and ad-hoc projects from time to time, based on business needs

Hourly pay rate for this position is $22-$26/hour depending on years of experience.

About the Role

As an experienced Tissue Logistics Coordinator reporting to our Lead Tissue Logistics Coordinator, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Coordinates receipt and release of all cryopreserved tissue in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Maintains compliance for tissue recovery to ensure safety with all applicable standard operating procedures, regulations, and policies.
  • Follows, interprets, and implements all applicable standard operating procedures, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance.
  • Reviews all patient records related to tissue in and out of the laboratory
  • Assists with Embryo Options (third party billing) accounts
  • Assists with disposition of all tissue in and out of the laboratory
  • Able to accurately input tissue data in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Maintains consents and EMR documentation 
  • Assist with coordination between transport couriers, patients, and laboratory
  • Works effectively with Clinic staff to maintain good clinic relations and a cooperative work environment.
  • Clear and concise communication with patients regarding the safe transport of their precious tissue
  • Reviews cost and educates the patient regarding tissue transport

About the Role

As a Traveling Senior Embryologist at Kindbody, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism and collaboration. The hours will be determined based on availability and need, with occasional weekend and holiday shifts. This position will provide coverage across the country to our network of clinics.

 

About the Role

As an experienced Senior Embryologist reporting to our Lab Managers in various locations, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. Proposed Schedule:  Roughly Traveling 3 weeks on and 1 week off. Two 9 day batches or one14 day batch per month.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assisted reproductive technology methods including, but not limited to, semen preparation, oocyte identification conventional IVF, ICSI, embryo culture and grading, laser assisted hatching, trophectoderm biopsy, sperm, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation (vitrification).
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records
  • Perform quality control procedures and monitor KPIs
  • Participate in the laboratory’s quality management program
  • Coordinate with reproductive endocrinologists and OB/GYNs to assist their patients with reproductive health issues and clinical research. 
  • Educate patients on infertility evaluations, medications, treatment protocols and procedures
  • Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
  • Ensure all patient information is documented appropriately in our EMR according to our procedures
  • Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved
  • Support and promote excellence in customer service
  • Provide feedback to HQ on process improvement and job specifications to help gain efficiencies in the day to day

Who you are:

  • Willingness to be flexible and travel nationwide to any of our 36 clinics
  • 6+ years experience in clinical embryology  {3-4 of which are micromanipulation}
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Proficiency in all IVF laboratory methods including micromanipulation techniques and vitrification
  • Detail oriented, meticulous record-keeping
  • Strong communication skills & a team player
  • Familiarity with all state and local regulations including tissue bank licensing
  • Experienced in EMR and G-Suite
