What You'll Do:

  • Design and build scalable real-time systems to solve problems that enhance utilization of employee benefits
  • Creating data models that are easy to use by various stakeholders
  • Partner closely with cross functional counterparts (product, design, ops, data etc.) to set and execute towards the vision for the team
  • Build high quality systems to help launch intentional benefits that delight users
  • Provide hands-on leadership on multiple fronts (architecture/design, code reviews, quality assurance and incident management) to other engineers

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Experience building data models and rule engines
  • Experience converting complex APIs into simple solutions
  • Domain knowledge with configurations around managing/designing plans and enrollment of members
  • Experience working cross-functionally on high performing teams and handling sensitive data
  • Passion to build highly available and scalable processing systems and architectures

What You'll Do:

  • Transaction is at the core of Level’s business. You will be responsible for building the mission critical engine that manages all of the transactions that flow through Level from card transactions to reimbursement requests and payout to the member.
  • Build latency sensitive transaction processing systems and manage latency requirements across multiple real time systems
  • Ensure high reliability, availability, and accuracy in managing the funds and transactions through Level
  • Work with banking and FinTech partners to enable the Level product in order to empower or employers to give benefits and our members to use benefits
  • Directly contribute to and help define core interface code between our financial systems and our core product
  • Be a role model for software design and scalable systems architecture by developing, sharing, and setting the quality bar for Level as a whole

Who You Are:

  • Working knowledge of CRM software and other relevant tools for managing client relationships and tracking relationships (e.g. Salesforce)

This position has a minimum base salary of $110,000 and a midpoint base salary of $120,000. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for quarterly bonuses and equity awards.
