We are looking for a Lead Account Strategist to head a team of strategists that guide our clients through the web development process, digital transformation, and more.
Who you are

Do you enjoy diving into the world of a new client or industry to learn the ins and outs? As the Lead Account Strategist, you’ll not only do that, but you’ll guide other Account Strategists to do the same.
Our ideal candidate is a people person who enjoys working directly with clients, uncovering business problems, guiding business strategies, and empowering team members to create the greatest impact possible. The Lead Account Strategist will divide their time between mentorship of other Account Strategists and serving as a strategic partner to some of Lifeblue’s most valuable clients.
What you'll do
- Lead the Account Strategy team and help design onboarding, upskilling, growth, and development for the department
- Use the power of connection and influence at the executive level to unstick the production team in processes that otherwise would be at a standstill
- Sell strategic visions of technical and marketing solutions through presentations and meetings, inspiring organization-wide action
- Understand clients' budgets and how our work can fit within their space for a symbiotic fit for both business models
- Suggest approaches in line with KPI-focused results that match client expectations and team skill sets
- Guide priority and milestones amongst the team in line with client's desires and budget-friendly methods
- Add continuous value to our clients by being a trusted advisor, consulting on and influencing the future of their organizations
- Sit on a team with other department leads and work closely with People Operations to support all Account Strategy initiatives through hiring, training, performance and people management
- Work collaboratively within a diverse team of Developers, Designers, and Delivery Managers to determine requirements and solutions that best suit a client’s needs
What you'll need
- 8-10 years of experience in a digital agency or similar role, like account or product management, working with clients to define and execute strategy
- High-level understanding of the components of web and mobile technologies to effectively lead clients through strategic digital transformations
- Consistent curiosity to stay on top of digital transformation trends and web requirements and how they are shaping the future of the web
- A service mentality, encouraging clients and team members to think creatively to meet project needs and deliver exceptional client experience
- Strong presentation and communication skills to create a clear story, capture our process, and hold influence among executive-level clients
Bonus points
- Experience presenting with software like Google Slides and PowerPoint
- Experience running meetings and workshops both in person and virtually (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams)
- Experience with Google Workspace documentation software (Google Docs, Google Sheets) to define and deliver solutions
- Knowledge of collaborative whiteboard software like Miro to build visuals that sell strategy and solutions
- Experience working with web-based reporting and analytics tools like Google Analytics to accurately interpret data to make informed decisions
