Medalogix is currently seeking an analytical, organized, and experienced FP&A Manager to join our team of innovators and deliver best-in-class analyses, reporting, and decision support.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the company’s month-end close review and monthly business review processes, including preparing budget variance analyses & reconciliations, tracking key operational and financial metrics, and driving business intelligence and decision support to various internal & external stakeholders
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial reporting packages and miscellaneous executive-level presentations (e.g., quarterly Board of Directors materials, Investor Relations materials, other management presentations)
  • Prepare routine analysis of financial & operational results, including the interpretation of current month performance as a predictive tool for full year performance expectations
  • Support the company's annual budgeting & monthly forecasting processes
  • Organize & leverage large, unwieldy, and/or imperfect datasets to drive analytical insights
  • Assist in continually developing & implementing process improvements within the Finance team and throughout the organization, with an eye toward enhanced collaboration, productivity, and transparency between Finance and other key business stakeholders
  • Support any financing activity and/or strategic corporate development initiatives, including M&A activity (spanning new opportunity evaluation, diligence support, deal execution, and post-acquisition/merger integration efforts)
  • Own the evergreen health and accuracy of the Finance team's process and assumption documentation
  • Other ad hoc duties as required
  • At least four (4) years of relevant experience, preferably in a role/function conducting financial analysis and providing business intelligence
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with strong academic credentials
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced-level facility in Excel and PowerPoint; experience in NetSuite a plus but not required
  • Meticulous attention to and command of the details
  • Extremely well-organized, data-driven
  • Proactive self-starter capable of meeting deadlines without significant supervision
  • Highly analytical, capable of synthesizing data to draw sound, insightful conclusions, and business recommendations
  • Superb organizational skills and work ethic; capable of dealing with and navigating ambiguity

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Willing to travel to Nashville, as required (if not Nashville-based)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Medalogix is currently seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with a focus on making a considerable difference in the quality, superiority, and reliability of our products. Reporting to the Director of Quality, this position’s responsibilities will be centered around analyzing, testing, and reporting on our product’s overall quality. The feedback you compile will be used to modify and strengthen our product line to provide customers with excellent results. Whether you are testing functionally or at the feature level, designing test models and comparison parameters, diagnosing problems, or collaborating with your team, the opportunity is there to improve our products and processes through various tools like Azure DevOps, SQL, Snowflake, etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and execute functional and regression test cases, prepare test data within a 2-week sprint
  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of comprehensive test strategies for software products
  • Collaborate and communicate with the team and management regarding test status, root cause, & project progress.
  • Attending and contributing to agile ceremonies (i.e. standups, refinements, retrospectives, sprint planning, etc.)
  • Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Representing the software quality engineering team throughout all phases of the SDLC lifecycle
  • Knowledge and awareness of modern best practices for software development including source control, build processes, release management, and deployment
  • Maintain awareness of current development, testing, commercial and open-source offerings of interest
  • Striving to consistently learn and improve within the company as well as share general development trends with the team

 

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 7 or more years of relevant work experience, including software testing and test automation
  • Extensive experience with testing web applications, HTTP web services, JSON/XML, web-based applications, automated testing, and performance testing
  • Experience with API testing including API Test Automation and Data Driven Test
  • Fluency in SQL with understanding of data models, object/entity relationships, and relational databases
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of Cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes for code deployments, specifically in Azure DevOps
  • Experience working with product managers and developers within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the architecture and creation of automation frameworks, test harnesses and/or QA focused tools
  • Knowledge of modern best practices for software development including IDE, source control, build processes, release management, and deployment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a highly collaborative, team-based culture

Medalogix is hiring a Remote Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team of data experts. As a data engineer at MedaLogix, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our data warehouse and data pipelines. The data engineer will support multiple stakeholders, including software developers, database architectures, data analysts, and data scientists, to ensure an optimal data delivery architecture. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical abilities to solve complex problems with data, a willingness to learn new technologies and tools if necessary, and be comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, stakeholders, and products.

  • Design, build, and maintain batch or real-time data pipelines in production while adhering to architectural requirements of maintainability and scalability.
  • Build scalable data pipelines (Python/DBT) leveraging the Airflow scheduler/executor framework.
  • Responsible for ensuring that large and/or more complex engineering projects are delivered in alignment with the appropriate business outcomes.
  • Monitor data systems performance and implement optimization strategies.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, and HealthTech industry standards.
  • Perform on-call off-hours support for critical systems.

• 7+ years as a Data Engineer or related role, with a focus on designing and developing performant data pipelines.

• Intermediate/Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals like nodes, pods, services, deployments etc., and their interactions with the underlying infrastructure.

• 2+ years hands-on experience with Docker containerization technology to package applications for use in a distributed system managed by Kubernetes.

• 3+ years’ experience with orchestration platform airflow. Experience with Azure Data Factory is a plus but not required.

• Expertise in using DBT and Apache Airflow for orchestration and data transformation. • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. Experience with Scala is a plus but not required.

• Strong experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Experience working with cloud Data Warehouse solutions (Snowflake).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Proven ability to work independently and with a team.

• Approachable, personable and team player comfortable working in an Agile environment

• Experience with working on large data sets and distributed computing.

• Knowledge of EMR systems like HCHB/MatrixCare.

• Prior experience as a Senior Data Engineer within a healthcare SaaS group
