          Qualifications

          • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology with eligibility registration with AHPRA. 
          • Degree  Qualifications in Social Work or Counselling and current, or eligibility to gain, membership with one of AASW / ACA / PACFA
          • Experience working within employment services highly regarded but not essential;
          • Knowledge of psychology assessment / intervention strategies;
          • Exceptional communication, rapport building skills and engagement;
          • Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports;
          • Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients.
          • Ability to provide a Police Clearance (within 6 months) and Work with Children's Check

          On a daily basis, you will be:

          • Managing an allocated caseload and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a timely manner
          • Assessing NDIS participants' physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
          • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
          • Delivering supports to participants within the clinic and community settings (e.g. schools and homes)
          • Collaborating within the multidisciplinary team
          • Working with your Allied Health Manager to engage with and educate key business stakeholders and grow our service in the ACT
          • Mentoring and supervising junior clinicians 

           

          About You

          • Considerable experience working as a Physiotherapist
          • Experience delivering services to people with disability
          • A passion for assisting vulnerable members of our community in reaching their goals
          • An interest in collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
          • A desire to work with NDIS participants across the lifespan (0-65 years) as you will be taking on a mixed caseload
          • Experienced in mentoring or supervising junior clinicians
