Responsibilities include: 

  • Working with the International Director to drive sales of NielsenIQ solutions to key European markets & European Union Institutions 
  • Achieving sales and commercial objectives by clearly articulating NielsenIQ’s value proposition and use cases to decision makers specific to the product portfolio of responsibility
  • Building meaningful client relationships with client stakeholders and teams

Key Responsibilities: 

Governance & Policy Implementation – You will develop, maintain, and update NIQ’s internal data privacy policies and training materials and external data privacy notices and consent materials to ensure compliance with regional data protection laws, and implement standard operating procedures across the Americas region. You will additionally manage the process for individual data subject rights requests originating from the Americas.

Partnering & Advice – You will serve as a privacy subject-matter expert, offering strategic advice and collaborating with business units such as product, data acquisition and research, commercial legal, information technology, sales, procurement, HR, and other departments during the development of new project, products, and initiatives to integrate data privacy principles in AI applications, product development, procurement strategies, and commercial contracts. This includes guiding and training employees on data privacy best practices and policies and developing and implementing regional-level data privacy awareness programs.    

Risk Management & Protection – You will monitor changes in privacy laws and regulations and update policies, procedures, notices, and consents accordingly. Your role also includes supporting the Global Privacy Team in maintaining records of data processing activities and ensuring regional-level documentation is up to date. As required, you may also conduct systematic audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential data privacy risks. 

Compliance & Assessment – You will conduct privacy impact assessments as required for new and existing projects to identify and address potential privacy risks. You will support the procurement team in their work with external vendors and partners to ensure compliance with NIQ’s data privacy standards and negotiate data processing addendums.

Incident Response – You will serve as the primary Americas data privacy contact in the event of a data breach or privacy incident, and coordinate response efforts with the broader cybersecurity and incident response teams to minimize impact and implement necessary corrective actions. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school 
•    Proof of admission to the Bar of the highest court of a state or territory, and current membership in good standing of such Bar as would permit the practice of law
•    6+ years of combined, relevant legal experience in law firms, governmental agencies, and/or in-house legal departments for data intelligence and/or technology companies
•    Deep knowledge of data privacy, data handling, and data classification
•    Proven experience in managing data privacy issues within a global organization

In the role of Associate Director, Sales for Government, Public Sector and Non-Profit Accounts, you will be responsible for leading large sales engagements across our portfolio of NielsenIQ measurement solutions to our existing and new government vertical clients, and for expanding the business across this client sector.  This role will pioneer the development of commercial strategies to renew and achieve new business, building meaningful client relationships, and ultimately closing deals.  The successful candidate will join an expanding team of 30+ high performing and high energy associates.  This fast-paced team is excited to have a new member join our group to build on the momentum we have established and deliver against lofty but attainable growth goals. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Working with the International Director to drive sales of NielsenIQ solutions to key European markets & European Union Institutions 
  • Achieving sales and commercial objectives by clearly articulating NielsenIQ’s value proposition and use cases to decision makers specific to the product portfolio of responsibility
  • Building meaningful client relationships with client stakeholders and teams
  • Represent the voice of the customer to internal product development, product marketing, communications and delivery teams 
  • Working collaboratively with other product sales leads & cross functional partners 
  • Achieving sales quota consistent with NielsenIQ margin goals and delivery expectations

  • Tu día de trabajo inicia al llegar al primer domicilio, al llegar ahí, te identificarás con la dueña del hogar y solicitarás permiso para realizar las actividades de colecta.  
  • Iniciarás sesión en tu dsipositivo para hacer tu chequeo de entrada al momento de ingresar al hogar y de esa manera tu ejecutivo de torre de control podrá monitorear el inicio de actividades. 
  • Durante la visita que harás al domicilio, harás un conteo  de productos en el hogar, esto incluye lo que tengan en la despensa y otras habitaciones. 
  • Se hace un recorrido por la casa y con tu dispositivo vas a escanear el código de barras de cada producto incluido en tu lista, verificando que la información que muestra el escáner sea la misma al producto en físico, deberás ingresar algunos datos, como son: la fecha de compra, cantidad de unidades, precio del producto, donde lo compraron y si al momento de la compra contaba con alguna promoción (como 2X1, 20% mas, producto adicional de regalo o combo). Y deberás llenar el cuestionario de esos productos. Con un marcador deberás cancelar el código de barras para evitar duplicidad en tu siguiente auditoría 
  • Solicitarás a la representante del hogar las envolturas de aquellos productos que se hayan consumido en el periodo. El hogar cuenta con un marcador entregado por la compañía para rotular los empaques, colocando precio, fecha de compra, quién lo consumió y dónde se compró. Al finalizar este apartado de la auditoría deberás colocar los empaques y envolturas en una bolsa de plastico que la compañia te asigna para tirarlos en el bote de basura del hogar. 
  • Para aquellos productos que no tienen marca, como productos a granel, kilo de tortilla, pan de panadería, el hogar lleva una bitacoria donde diariamente informa la cantidad de productos que consume de este rubro. Deberás hacer un corte semanal. Ejemplo: en la semana 43 del año esta familia consumió X kilos de tortilla e ingresas la información a tu dispositivo. 
  • Solicitarás los tickets de compra de los productos adquiridos en ese periodo y deberás registrarlos.  
  • Existen algunos estudios especiales de telefonía y luz en el que deberás solicitar el recibo. 
  • Para Nielsen tu seguridad es muy importante por lo que contamos con una supervisora en campo que puede auditar tu trabajo en todo momento y una torre de control en Ciudad de México  
  • Al finalizar tu auditoría se notifica cuando se cierre un hogar en tu dispositivo.

  • Retirement plans: Support initiatives related to DC pension/RRSP/TFSA plan management and administration, including reconciling and submitting payroll contribution files and demographic data files to service provider. Coordinate DB pension activities with service providers, including preparation of terminated member settlement option packages, annual plan member statements, annual pensioner indexing adjustments, quarterly PAR filings, as well as payment set-up for new pensioners, and transfer of pension benefits for terminated members. Support compliance related activities such as annual pension audit, regulatory filings, and pension committee meetings. 

  • Benefits plans: Support annual benefit plan renewal, biennial healthcare/dental plan re-enrolment, new member enrolments, member terminations, member coverage changes, member premium deduction set-up/changes through payroll, and payment of monthly service provider invoices. 

  • Leave of absences: Communicate leave of absence process with employees and their managers when a leave is requested. Track start date and end date of leaves. Update leave status in Workday and inform Payroll of impact to employees’ pay. For disability leaves, partner with service provider to ensure accurate data, clear employee communication, and excellent service to employees on leave.  

  • Communications: Prepare communication materials as needed, including periodic newsletters; post Canada benefits information and benefit booklets on the company intranet site.  

  • Other: Support other benefit initiatives and programs as needed, such as annual vacation purchase program. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Post secondary degree 

  • 4+ years of experience in supporting the administration of benefit plans including retirement plan administration, annual and other periodic audits, partnering with vendors, leave of absence processes and communications, and educating employees on company benefits and services 

  • Strong Excel and analytical skills and a proven track record of using Excel to analyze and compare datasets and identify discrepancies 

  • Understanding of Employment Standards Administration, pension legislation, compliance, and other related regulations 

  • Superior attention to detail and focus on accuracy

  • The ability to identify opportunities to improve the quality assurance processes and actively contribute to test automation initiatives
  • Understanding of BDD/TDD methodologies
  • The ability to work in an automated test approach and page object design/facade/singletons patterns
  • Basic understanding of Micro-Services architecture
  • Knowledge of automated API testing
  • Experience in Acceptance Test Automation in Cypress or JavaScript-based test automation frameworks
  • The ability to work in CI tools like GitLab and cloud infrastructure like GCP
