The School Business Consultant (SBC) is responsible for advising and supporting Franchise Owners using a consultative approach in order to reach and exceed strategic goals and objectives and grow their business. The SBC establishes strong and successful business relationships with Franchise Owners to ensure the delivery of premier early education, trusted care, and service excellence. The successful SBC will display the ability to influence without authority and drive business results through strong business relationships, both with internal and external partners.   This role will require at least 30% travel.

  • Supports Franchise Owners in developing and maintaining a business plan for continuous improvement, execution of premier brand standards and achievement of strategic occupancy goals.
  • Implements the Service Excellence Assurance process to validate and promote consistent brand standards and successful action item completion.
  • Verifies the execution of Balanced Learning and develops continual improvement plans with Franchise Owners in collaboration with the School Excellence Education Team.
  • Builds strong internal partnerships to ensure cross departmental collaboration in order to drive business results.
  • Partners with the Field Marketing Team to coach and support Franchise Owners regarding the successful implementation of school marketing plans and national, local, and integrated marketing initiatives to increase enrollment.
  • Analyzes operational results and trends and proactively identifies schools/ markets where additional support and/ or strategies are required to achieve desired results.
  • Facilitates Franchise Owner networking opportunities to address current strategic goals and objectives.
  • Maintains first line of communication with Franchise Owners to ensure successful implementation of health and safety practices and other operational policies and procedures.
  • Develops strong working relationships with vendors, state licensing agencies, and community contacts to help Franchise Owners achieve compliance with all federal, state, and local laws as well as Primrose Schools standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all reportable incidents; consulting with the Executive Director of Regional Support when necessary.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate will possess a mix of the following skills and competencies:
  • 5+ years’ experience in multi-unit management
  • Experience with multi-unit management, franchising, early childcare, etc.
  • Firm understanding of State and National Accreditation and State Childcare Licensing rules and regulations preferred
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education, Business, or related field preferred
  • Ability to tackle projects with a high degree of autonomy
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Ability to manage time and multiple competing priorities while maintaining service excellence
  • Proficiency in the following technologies:

WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Real Estate Director will manage the Primrose School Franchise Company’s real estate process from location identification through execution of a purchase and sale agreement or lease within an assigned geographical territory or territories. In addition, the Real Estate Director is the primary point of contact for franchise owners during the site selection phase and is responsible for creating, updating, and transitioning all franchise owner and target area maps within his/her area(s). 
 
 The ideal candidate has extensive experience in locating real estate development and lease opportunities, purchase and lease agreement negotiation, and small pad and raw development sites as well as a strong understanding of the entitlement process. This position requires up to 50% field travel.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with each assigned Franchise Owner
  • Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with real estate brokers in each of the DSA’s assigned markets
  • Establishes a mutually agreeable strategy for site search process
  • Contacts each assigned new franchise owner and commences site acquisition process at the appropriate time
  • Manages site identification process from franchise agreement execution through purchase or lease agreement execution
  • During site identification process, acts as the primary contact for and maintains regular email and verbal communication with each franchise owner including the preparation and presentations of sites for possible locations
  • During site identification process, acts as the primary Primrose contact with broker and seller/landlord and during entitlement process, acts as the secondary contact with broker and seller/landlord
  • Coordinates preparation of concept site and floor plans
  • Reviews opportunities with Development Project Manager before preparing approval package to gain consensus on viability of project
  • Prepares and negotiates letters of intent, prepares and presents internal site approval packages, and coordinates the preparation and negotiation of purchase agreements with outside legal counsel
  • Identifies and prepares maps for new target areas
  • Recommends boundaries for newly created Designated Areas and manages communication process with Franchise Owners for approval of final maps
  • Ensures all necessary information/documents are provided to and received from Franchise Owners
  • Consults with Independent Development franchise owners to review proposed sites and helps prepare and present site approval packages
  • Reviews all sites submitted by brokers for potential Primrose sites in assigned areas

The Development Project Manager directly manages all aspects of development of land or an existing site/building from contract execution through building permit approval.  The DPM is responsible for contracting and managing all external consultants involved in the due diligence, design, engineering, and permitting processes for New School design and construction. This individual serves as the point person throughout the entire development phase and ensures that all required permit approvals have been obtained, ready for Construction to commence. The successful Development Project Manager uses their related experience and background to provide effective management and direction to our internal and external project teams driving excellence in project management execution in development. 

  • Engaged collaboration during the initial leasing / purchase agreement phase with Real Estate Director by: reviewing all proposed sites in-field, provide cost, development timing and permitting analysis back to Real Estate for review and consideration; provide early development procedures by researching municipal requirements 
  • Create tailored development schedules for a land purchase or lease based on zoning status, conditional use permits, platting and required third party approvals to pursue speed to construction start for a given project; manage on weekly basis and be accurate on reporting
  • Effectively manage and lead an internal [SO1] and external team of external consultants including architects, civil engineers, professional service providers and vendors in pursuit of all municipal approvals as necessary for site development; provide documentation as required for Franchise Owner financing as required
  •  Lead and present at local staff, design review boards, planning commission and city council meetings to represent the Franchise Owner and Primrose in pursuit of zoning and site plan approvals
  • Manage the launch and receipt of all given due diligence work during the inspection period to qualify a land site or existing building / site ranging from Title Reports, ALTA Survey, Geotechnical reports, Environmental reports, Sign Surveys, Property Condition Evaluations and more depending upon the site
  • Play critical project management, coordination, and communication role with all stakeholders including the Franchise Owner(s), team members, architects, civil engineers, expeditors, vendors and more
  • Effectively reduce development task durations with engaged interactions and proactive tactics with all stakeholders including jurisdictional departments; relationship focused with municipalities
  • Travel to markets with development activity to meet with jurisdictional members engaged on projects that require improved results and outcomes

WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Marketing Analytics Manager is responsible for leveraging data from a wide variety of sources, both internal and external, to analyze and steward the performance of our marketing efforts. This individual will be able to synthesize large and complex data sets to identify actionable insights that support business growth through the acquisition of new customers.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Analyze category, brand, competitive, channel and customer dynamics to uncover insights and recommend actions to guide business performance​, including making spend allocation recommendations.
  • Design and build reports and interactive dashboards to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement​
  • Partner and work with third-party measurement partners for platform setup, onboarding and user management as well as collaborate with the internal and external sales, measurement and ad operations teams associated with each​
  •  Lead the implementation of, and translate insights and recommendations from, multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling (MMM), brand lift studies, conversion lift studies and cross-title performance marketing analyses.

  • Meticulously track and report on spend effectiveness, KPIs, trends, and campaign and creative performance.

  •  Organize, clean, manipulate, merge and label various data sets in order to perform analysis.
