Job Description

Manages the entire life cycle of our Skills Practice Products and Freckle and promotes it across the organization. Works closely with all parts of the organization, as well as customers, to envision and execute the creation of solutions that meet market and internal demands. Evangelizes offerings internally and helps marketing with go-to-market messaging.  Researches and analyzes market trends, competitors and customer needs to identify opportunities.  Envisions future and creates 3-year roadmap.

 In this role as a Director of Product Management, you will:

  • Manage the entire life cycle of Freckle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Manage and grow a team of high-performing product managers
  • Ship solutions that dramatically increase student success and support the needs of teachers and administrators
  • Ensures the execution of a multi-channel distribution strategy, including product-led-growth principles, as well as top-down distribution strategies
  • Specify market requirements for current and future by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers and combining that with the knowledge of market trends, educational research, and other sources
  • Drive a solution set across teams (primarily Product, Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, products contract, and overall positioning
  • Work closely with an Engineering counterpart to define product release requirements
  • Work closely with Marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them to understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers
  • Serve as the internal and external evangelist, working with the sales channel, key customers, and business development partners
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market and grow market share plans, working with all departments to execute
  • Find innovative solutions for the broader market and define the sales and marketing strategies to successfully launch in the marketplace
  • Support areas where product and development operations converge to ensure support and product delivery for international and reseller operations, large customer support and licensing
  • Successfully position product with a strong understanding of the market and customer needs
  • Successfully identify key buying influences and develop multi-faceted approaches to win sales
  • Conduct market analysis, forecasting, and competitive analysis as required

Qualifications

For this role as a Director of Product Management, you should have:

  • Minimum 15 years of product manager experience
  • Experience hiring and mentoring product managers
  • Proven track record of product launches that meet the market needs and business goals

Job Description

Would you like to join a team of highly motivated, hardworking individuals in the Human Resources department? As an integral part of the HR Team, the People Relations Manager will work closely with HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence to agilely provide HR guidance to Renaissance leaders and employees, execute on HR projects, maintain HR resources, and develop new initiatives. Together with People Assist and the HR Operations team, People Relations Managers are the go-to resource for employee questions and facilitate a cohesive HR service delivery experience for Renaissance employees and leaders. Note: this role is leveled as a Senior Advisor Role within Renaissance.  

As a People Relations Manager, you will: 

  • Act as a key operational partner for the business and HR Business Partners providing guidance to employee and manager questions related to policies, HR practices and processes, and COE topics aligned to People Assist tiers and protocols and in coordination with HR Operations.  
  • Drive continuous improvement of the People Assist knowledge library by working with HR Operations to understand question trends, needs for clarity, and anticipating upcoming topics. Work with appropriate SMEs to update content on a regular cadence. 
  • Serve as an internal HR policy expert and partner with business SMEs to ensure employee-facing policies are relevant and updated. Support identification and drafting of new policies as needed.  
  • Coach leaders on managing through low performance and the performance improvement process for manager level roles and below. 
  • Serve as primary employee contact for Employee Relations issues, escalate to the HR Compliance Manager as appropriate.  
  • Meet with employees regarding policy complaints and concerns; escalate to the HR Compliance Manager as appropriate to conduct investigations.  
  • Work closely with HRBPs and COEs to ensure successful delivery of HR projects—both on the typical HR cycle (year-end processes; talent review) and to implement strategic HR initiatives.  
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide qualitative data for turnover reporting. Partner with the HR Technology team to provide holistic turnover data to the HRLT, senior leaders, and other stakeholders. 
  • Assist leaders in understanding people data related to engagement, turnover, and other compliance items.  
  • Analyze trends in employee questions, concerns, and complaints and work with appropriate stakeholders to develop proactive solutions.  

Qualifications

For this role as a People Relations Manager, you must have: 

  • At least five years’ Human Resources experience in a COE or HR generalist role 
  • In depth knowledge of HR principles and policies. 
  • Foundational understanding of HR COEs and processes (including recruitment, DEI, employee relations, compensation, benefits, learning and development, and HR compliance) and employment law principles. 
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal that adapted based on audience. 
  • High attention to detail with the ability to carry through processes, work with documents, employee records, forms, contracts, and compliance.  
  • Ability to administer an empathetic approach to garner trust and establish relationships. Discretion in handling confidential information and situations. 
  • Honed critical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills with a focus on conflict resolution. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize to meet deadlines.

As the Global Mobility Partner, you will: 

  • Lead the creation and management of company’s Global Mobility center of excellence.  
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders, HR staff, and employees to understand talent and business needs, advise and delivery on mobility solutions. 
  • Build relationships with internal and external mobility stakeholders and systems partners ensuring accuracy and a positive employee experience. Contribute to the creation of training and support materials for HR, leaders and employees. 
  • Develop and update global mobility policies and procedures to meet the changing needs of the business and employees. 
  • Ensure that global mobility programs align with the company’s strategic objectives and budget. 
  • Coordinate and manage international assignments, relocations, and transfers, ensuring that employees are supported throughout the process. 
  • Partner with payroll and tax advisors to ensure proper taxation of employee salaries in host and home countries. 
  • Provide guidance on relocation benefits, including housing, schooling, and relocation allowances. 
  • Liaise with external vendors (relocation service providers, immigration consultants, etc.) to manage relocation services. 
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees and their families throughout the relocation process. 
  • Conduct pre-departure briefings and support the employee’s adaptation to the newlocation. 
  • Ensure that service providers meet performance and service level agreements. 
     

Qualifications

For this role as a Global Mobility Partner, you must have: 

  • 8+ years of experience in global mobility or international HR 
  • Strong knowledge of immigration, tax, and compliance issues related to global assignments 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work in a face-paced enviornment and manage multiple assignments simultenaously  
  • High level of cultural sensitivity and awareness 

Preferred: 

  • Certification in Global Mobility (e.g. GMS, CIPD, CEBS) 
  • Familiarity with tax equalization and international compensation models
