How will this role have an impact?

A Software Engineerdevelops systems to manage data flow throughout Signify Health’s infrastructure. This involves all elements of data engineering and processing messages and data at huge volumes.

What will you do?

● Communicate with business leaders to help translate requirements into functional specification

● Develop broad understanding of business logic and functionality of current systems

● Analyze and manipulate data by writing and running SQL queries

● Deliver clean and functional code in accordance with business requirements

Requirements

● Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent

● 3 plus years in software engineering

● Strong software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, async programming patterns, object-oriented design, parallel programming)

● Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with at least one popular programming language (.NET , GoLang or Java) and SQL constructs (PostGres, Snowflake, MS SQL).

● Experience writing and maintaining frontend client applications, Angular preferred

● Strong experience with revision control (Git)

● Experience with cloud-based systems (Azure / AWS / GCP).

● High level understanding of big data design (data lake, data mesh, data warehouse) and data normalization patterns

● Demonstrated experience with Queuing technologies (Kafka / SNS / RabbitMQ etc)

● Demonstrated experience with Metrics, Logging, Monitoring and Alerting tools

● Strong communication skills

● Strong experience with use of RESTful APIs and AKKA messaging technology

The base salary hiring range for this position is $74,000 to $125,800. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

We are looking for someone with:

  • 8+ years of experience in the engineering field as a software engineer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of work experience in .NET framework, .Net Core, C#, Web API 2 and RESTful web services
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular, NgRx, React, CSS3, HTML and Node
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Exposure to caching patterns and technologies is a plus(Redis, Couchbase, etc.)
  • Exposure to Document Databases is preferred
  • Experience with TDD and familiarity with Unit testing frameworks is preferred

Basic Qualifications:

The Director, Technical Product Management, Member & Clinician Experience will lead the strategy, roadmap, product development, and execution of an initiative to transform how Signify uses digital technology to manage in-home and online service encounters for over 3 million Americans and 10,000 clinicians per year. How will this role have an impact?

Signify Health is currently seeking a Major Incident and Problem Manager to join our IT Service Management team to lead the response to major incidents as well as proactive/reactive problems. The goal is to lead responses using ITIL processes to expedite resolutions to incidents and problems in order to minimize business, financial, reputational, and legal/regulatory risks. The Incident/Problem Manager is expected to use their extensive knowledge of  both incident & problem management processes to mitigate impact and reduce the time to restore business services. Post restoration, this individual will need to track RCAs to completion and any associated remediation efforts to avoid future recurrence. This individual will be responsible for understanding multiple lines of businesses including customer segments and critical services, and developing a deep understanding of the applications and infrastructure components supporting these services. How will this role have an impact?

Signify Health is currently seeking a Major Incident and Problem Manager to join our IT Service Management team to lead the response to major incidents as well as proactive/reactive problems. The goal is to lead responses using ITIL processes to expedite resolutions to incidents and problems in order to minimize business, financial, reputational, and legal/regulatory risks. Requirements

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proven ability to complete projects in a timely manner while clearly measuring progress
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, async programming patterns, object-oriented design, parallel programming)
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with at least one popular programming language (.NET or Java) and SQL constructs.
  • Strong experience with big data pipelines in cloud and data normalization patterns. Experience with Orchestration tool, Snowflake and DBT is desired
  • Strong experience with cloud-based systems (Azure / AWS / GCP).
  • Strong experience with building big data pipelines (ADF / Data Bricks / Snowflake) and data normalization patterns 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong experience with use of RESTful APIs
  • Demonstrated experience with Queuing technologies (Kafka / SNS / RabbitMQ etc)
  • Demonstrated experience with Metrics, Logging, Monitoring and Alerting tools

  • Demonstrated experience with deployment tasks and technologies. (CI/CD Pipeline, K8s, Terraform).
  • High level understanding of frontend software applications, Angular preferred
  • High level understanding of HL7 V2.x / FHIR based interface messages.
  • High level understanding of more abstract, non-functional requirements (e.g. security, performance, scalability, monitoring) within system elements.
  • Exposure to different types of patterns and can differentiate which patterns might be better for a specific problem.

The base salary hiring range for this position is $108,900 to $189,700. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

How will this role have an impact?

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior UX Designer to join the Signify User Experience team. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for driving and delivering a human-centered design strategy to elevate our current customer experiences, serving as a mentor/resource for junior designers, and fostering a design culture throughout our organization. Your expertise in UX design, research, and design strategy will be essential in shaping our digital products and services. You will work to make user-centered design an intrinsic part of your cross-functional team’s culture. You will also help establish the standards, processes, and best practices for our UX practice. This highly visible role will be accountable for strong results and contribute to Signify’s experience strategies and tactical plans – prioritizing and capitalizing on business opportunities by partnering with leaders within Signify.

This role can be fully remote with a max travel expectancy of 10%.


What will you do:

  • Lead UX design process for your product area, from early stage research to implementation and ongoing refinement, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user-centered designs that align with business goals and user needs.
  • Set the design vision and strategy for your products, ensuring they align with user needs, business objectives, and industry best practices.
  • Manage and prioritize design projects for your specific domain, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for and conduct generative and evaluative user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain deep insights into user behavior, motivations, and pain points.
  • Leverage user research findings to develop an in-depth understanding of psychology and behaviors and craft user personas, empathy maps, user flows, journey maps, and other artifacts that help inform the design process.
  • Use research insights to identify opportunities, help shape product strategy, and inform design decisions and share those insights with Product & Technology to create a shared understanding.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to define product and project goals, requirements, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions and provide guidance on interaction design and front-end development best practices.
  • Translate user insights and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, user-centered design solutions, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
  • Champion and advocate for a user-centered design approach, ensuring that all design decisions are based on user needs and clearly demonstrate how proposed solutions solve those needs.
  • Present design concepts, solutions, strategies, and user research findings to stakeholders and effectively communicate the value and impact of UX design within the organization.
  • Identify and measure behavioral analytics for your product that tie to product and business goals. Help development teams in implementing the appropriate analytics.
  • Help shape the UX metrics used to show a clear impact and value to the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience, Digital Design, Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Computer Science, or other related creative or technical fields.
    An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered instead of a formal degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in user experience, interaction design, or product design 
  • Knowledge of research techniques, including both generative and evaluative methodologies
  • Experience with behavioral analytics and UX measurement methodologies
  • Exceptional ability to create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and other artifacts to effectively communicate design concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex user needs into intuitive and engaging design solutions
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software
  • Strong expertise in user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices

  • Demonstrated experience leading projects
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences
