Signifyd is hiring a Remote Senior Value Engineer

As a Senior Value Engineer you will work cross functionally to assist the Go to Market team win new business, upsell new products, and retain existing customers. The first component will be to investigate and evaluate our existing data to craft and support value selling narratives to our prospective merchants. This role reports directly to the Value Engineering and Proposal Manager and roles into the larger Go to Market team. 

Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with customers to understand their business goals and deliver tailored value assessments.
  • Create and deliver compelling business case presentations and ROI analyses aimed at both individual contributors and senior customer executives. 
  • Interpret our data to provide compelling industry insights or benchmarks to our merchants to help quantify the value impact Signifyd will have on their organization
  • Educate and support the sales organization with value engineering tools and methodologies to enhance value-based selling.
  • Provide training on value engineering best practices, manage a library of value frameworks and sales assets, and contribute to the creation of new value tools and collateral.
  • Work with product marketing, marketing, sales and customer success to develop and standardize thought leadership content, value propositions, and competitive positioning.

Requirements for position:

  • 7+ years of professional experience, ideally with 3-5 years in a value management / business value services role.
  • Strong verbal and written skills for crafting presentations, articulating complex ideas, and building compelling business cases.
  • Proven ability to work with Sales, Solution Engineers, Pricing, Marketing, Implementation, Customer Success and other Go To Market teams.
  • Ability to build relationships both internally and externally to understand the underpinning needs of prospects and customers in terms of delivering proposed business value. 
  • Background in eCommerce, financial/payment systems, fraud mitigation is a plus
  • Experience using Business Intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) is a plus
  • Travel expected: 10% internal/external as needed.

The Security Engineer at Signifyd assists cybersecurity operations and vulnerability management across the organization. This role works with other security engineers and analysts on the team by contributing integrations, implementations and reviews with our security systems. They setup, configure, and use these solutions to identify threats and vulnerabilities within our networks and applications then cross coordinate with other departments to ensure timely remediation. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand relationships with influential staff at the world’s best ecommerce agencies and systems integrators, interacting with Signifyd’s emerging partners.
  • Use indirect influence to educate agency partners on Signifyd’s value proposition by telling compelling stories about why Signifyd is a solution they should recommend to merchants, leading to an increase in quality referrals from our partners. 
  • Work with internal teams to create and execute compelling partner campaigns that drive ongoing engagement from our partners
  • Coordinate event sponsorship activities and logistics with partners, including in person attendance when needed
  • Independently communicate and present Signifyd’s value proposition to small groups of 1-3 external contacts
  • Support the greater partnerships team in ongoing relationship maintenance and growth
  • Drive operational excellence by maintaining partner onboarding materials and documenting internal processes
  • Ensure timely and effective execution to hit revenue targets and objectives
  • Partner closely with sales to support deal progression as needed and be highly responsive and collaborative to internal and external requests that help progress deals and partner relationships.

Required Qualifications 

  • 1+ year of customer-facing experience, ideally in a B2B setting.  Experience in the ecommerce space is highly preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members to develop new, effective, ROI-driving partner activities
  • Strong relationship building skills; comfortable leading conversations with 1-3 external attendees and participating in presentations to groups of 10+ people virtually
  • Willingness to coordinate with sales to assist on lead registration and deal progression
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently; good attention to detail and work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of colleagues across multiple functions and geographies
  • Experience with standard CRM, Project Management tools, G Suite (Google Docs/Slides/Sheets) and MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel within the US and Canada up to 25% of time

Signifyd seeks a passionate, experienced Part-time Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to join our Finance Team. As an AP Clerk, you will have important interactions with our vendors and employees. You will perform critical functions that others rely on. You will find excitement and satisfaction as you see how your work helps the company grow. This role will report to our Accounting Manager.  The expectation is 15-25 hours per week.

The ideal candidate does not need any specific AP experience, but does need an eagerness to learn. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Onboard new vendors
  • Perform accounts payable duties as assigned which include but are not limited to:
    • Entering bills
    • Providing reports to budget owners
    • Communicating with vendors regarding bills and account balances
    • Preparing weekly payment runs
  • Perform vendor account reconciliations
  • Participate in the monthly/quarterly and annual close process to help ensure the Company’s financial statements are accurate and timely 

Required qualifications:

  • Understand expense accounts and cost centers
  • Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)

By 90 days:

  • Maintain the US subsidiary’s accounts payable process
  • Maintain accounts payable related work papers for our month-end close process
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the overall accounts payable process
  • Become a source of truth for company stakeholders and budget owners

Background in payments, fraud, and/or e-commerce industries preferred.
  • Leadership - This role requires strong communication skills, as well as displaying executive presence and confidence in varying levels of customer situations. The Principal CSM must display leadership with Signifyd, customer and partner teams who may be engaged in the delivery of complex solutions for overall customer success.
  • Relationship Building - Proven track record of building relationships with senior customer executives in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience managing various stakeholder relationships to generate consensus on solutions/engagements required.
  • Sales Acumen -Ability to diagnose customer pain points and consult on potential solutions to drive upsell opportunities. Own full-cycle expansion opportunities with Signifyd clients to hit annual bookings targets.
  • Program Management - Excellent skills in planning for a portfolio of engagements, cross-group collaboration, resource orchestration, communications, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail required. The Principal CSM will be accountable for the development and execution of the shared merchant plan, including the operational health of the customer solutions deployed today and in the future.
  • Collaboration and Communication - Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through with verbal and written communication. Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences and various levels of management (CxO, Senior Executives, Day-to-Day Operations Team).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Independently draft and negotiate a variety of commercial transactions, including complex subscription agreements, partnership deals, working closely with our Sales organization to close revenue deals.
  • Lead and manage a highly effective team of contracts managers supporting go-to-market portfolio of ecommerce merchants in the U.S., EMEA, Mexico, and South America.

Role Overview

As a Staff Product Manager for our Risk Platform, you will spearhead the development of a cutting-edge platform aimed at detecting and mitigating risks in e-commerce transactions.
