Duties:

  • Strategic leadership in the management and optimization of all fundraising and engagement platforms.
  • Develop and implement innovated analytic solutions to measure and enhance fundraising performance, including creating adaptable and user-friendly dashboards that allow leaders to continuously evaluateperformance and formulate strategic action plans.
  • Produce reports and presentations that effectively communicate fundraising performance, emphasize key findings and insights, and follow best practices in data visualization.
  • Partner with key stakeholderstoidentifyrequirements and create sophisticateddata-driven solutions, such as reports, presentations, dashboards, and predictive models.
  • Closely partner with the technologyteam to ensure consistent data collection and seamless integrationswith fundraising and engagement platforms to maximize efficiencies and increasefundraising performance.
  • Lead and manageateam focused ondonor research,gift processing& entry,acknowledgment& recognition,andeffortsrelating to revenuegeneration– includingmonthlypipeline meetings,financial reconciliationprocesses, and fundraising analysis.
  • Ensure proper documentationforkey DevelopmentOperationsproceduresand compliance-relatedpolicies.
  • Take lead in reactive, emergency fundraising opportunities in times of disaster or crisis, supporting Team Rubicon’s mission and strategic fundraising goals.

Education and Background:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in various technology platforms and exceptional analytical skills to enhance efficiency and innovation
  • 3-5 years of comprehensive experience in nonprofit database management, with a track record of creating custom objects, fields, and workflows, and leading new integrations
  • Expertise in nonprofit fundraising processes, compliance, donor cultivation and research, and maintaining high standards of data integrity and management
  • Proven ability to foster strong collaboration across diverse teams, promoting open and direct communication to meet organizational objectives

  • Oversee programing, both in acute disaster/humanitarian response and system strengthening capacities.

  • Oversee the build of security, risk, and threat assessments for operational environments and ensure the creation, review and implementation of partner security documentation, mission specific risk assessments, mission planning process and documentation.
  • Ensure full mission readiness of all TR critical equipment, including EMT formulary, WASH gear, and Field Tech.
  • Work across departments to synchronize fundraising and communications efforts in support of disaster response international operations.
  • Maximize the outputs of donor dollars to achieve greater value for money in providing intended outcomes for disaster impacted.

Duties: 

  • Software Development: Design, develop, andmaintainscalable web applications using .NET Core, Angular, and SQL technologies. 
  • Frontend Development: Implement user-friendly interfaces and user experiences using Angular framework, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. 
  • Backend Development: Create robust APIs and backend services using .NET Core framework for seamless integration with frontend components. 
  • Database Management: Design andoptimizeSQL database schemas, write complex queries, and ensure data integrity and security. 
  • Code Reviews and Testing:Participatein code reviews to ensure code quality, conduct unit tests, and contribute to the overall software testing process. 
  • Documentation: Document technical specifications, architectural designs, and code implementation details for future reference and collaboration. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. 
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and debug issues,identifybottlenecks, and implement effective solutions tooptimizeapplication performance. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity and software quality. 

Experience and Background:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in software development. 
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. 
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development tools like JIRA. 
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation, as well as microservices architecture. 
  • Soft Skills: 
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and skill development. 

Special Requirements: 

  • This is a full-time, hybridrole based in Los Angeles, CA(with the potential to be a remote role based anywhere within the United States) and provides a flexible & non-traditional work schedule (relocation expenses not provided).
  • This role alsoEveningand weekend schedule supporting operations and tech team[Additional requirements such as evening/weekend schedule requirement and local/other travel requirements].
  • Travel: At least 15% travel for in-person design sessions and meeting with stakeholders.

  • Leads Associates and volunteers incapacitybuilding, growing local relationships, disaster-based operations, andencouragescross-functional collaboration and management of Operations Support team. 
  • Develop team performance goals andobjectives, offer specific feedback on individual performance, andsolicitfeedback regularly. 
  • Lead program delivery of the leadership lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and development of volunteer leaders.  
  • Support operations acrossgeographic branchesduring times of surge to filloperational supportgaps. 
  • Executepurchasingand expenses according to the Branch budget plan. 
  • Assistwith planning and budgeting according to Branch operational tempo. 

Experience and Background: 

  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in the military, disaster response, emergency management or first responder fields 
  • Proven record of personnel management experience such as recruiting, managing, training, and developing employees and volunteers  
  • Proficient with technology tools and in remote working for communicating and coordinating with a large network of TR staff members,Greyshirts(volunteers),and external stakeholders  
  • Successful past performance in leading volunteers is highly desired
