About the Role
This role presents an exciting opportunity to join the Physical Retail Asset Protection, Risk, and Safety team, reporting directly to the Head of Global Asset Protection, Safety & Security Operations. As a strategic leader and subject matter expert, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the asset protection strategy across our rapidly expanding physical retail footprint. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our people, assets, and operations as we continue to grow.

This role demands a highly experienced, forward-thinking leader who can navigate complexity, influence key stakeholders at all levels, and drive results through collaboration. You will oversee security, loss prevention, and safety initiatives, ensuring consistent application of standards and best practices across all retail locations. As our portfolio expands, your ability to lead at scale and manage change will be pivotal to our success.

We are seeking a results-driven, adaptable leader with proven experience managing large, diverse teams and operations across diverse geographies.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and Innovate: Drive the development and implementation of asset protection strategies, safety and security policies, and programs to achieve security, safety, and inventory accuracy across all retail sites. Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders (including regulatory agencies, law enforcement, vendors, and suppliers) to ensure a unified approach to asset protection and compliance.
  • Risk Management at Scale: Oversee comprehensive workplace safety assessments, developing solutions to mitigate risks and prevent incidents across a growing network of physical retail sites.
  • Drive Performance and Compliance: Lead security, safety, and financial audits, ensuring adherence to standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Crisis and Business Continuity Leadership: Elevate the organization’s preparedness by refining crisis management plans, ensuring readiness and seamless execution during emergencies. Develop and lead emergency response efforts, table top exercises and train teams to handle potential crises effectively.
  • Investigative Expertise: Lead complex investigations into losses, security incidents, and emerging threats, delivering insightful and actionable findings to inform senior leadership and prevent future incidents.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Operations Leadership at all levels and Talent teams to ensure safety protocols and loss prevention strategies are effectively communicated and implemented across all teams, enhancing organizational resilience.

What You’ll Need

  • 8+ years of multi-unit retail asset protection leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a proven ability to lead and scale large teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or related field, Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Wicklander-Zulawski certification required
  • CFI (Certified Forensic Interviewer) preferred.
  • Experience managing asset protection, safety, and risk programs across multiple markets, with a demonstrated ability to manage at scale and influence senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing strategies that significantly reduce shrink, enhance security, and improve inventory management and financial controls.
  • Proficient in using exception-based reporting systems and other analytical tools with strong deductive reasoning skills.
  • Expert knowledge of security, life safety, and regulatory compliance concepts, with the ability to adapt and apply them to an evolving retail landscape.
  • Experience implementing and scaling new technologies and solutions to improve asset protection performance in complex and rapidly changing environments.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong bias for action and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in physical security design, development, and execution.
  • Ability to travel throughout the U.S. up to 50% of the time.

The salary range for this position is $142K-153K however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

As an Office Interior Designer on the Business Design Team, you would be immersed in all aspects of the design process and will gain hands-on experience working with real clients, on nationwide projects. 

Note: This role is remote. 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • The Interior Designer on the Business Design Team provides Interior Design Services to our B2B clients with a focus in office/workplace design
    • You will also specify and price furniture in property management, education, and healthcare market segments
  • Utilize AutoCAD to provide programming, space plan to code, complete product specifications and parts lists 
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and rendering software to create all client facing design deliverables
  • Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, to meet overall project objectives 
  • Provide fabric and finish palettes 
  • Establish project budget and timeline in collaboration with our sales and project management teams 
  • Field verify critical measurements and coordinate data and electrical locations as needed (in person as needed)
  • Work with project team to see project through installation
  • Participate in final installation walkthrough and punch list coordination (as needed)
  • Participate and/or lead customer meetings

Who We Are:

Whether the customer is a corporate office client, a national property management firm, or a large hospitality group, we have the resources to create a space that matches their vision, budget, and timeline. As an Interior Design Co-op, you will be immersed in all aspects of the design process and gain hands-on experience working with real clients across brands & geographies. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Utilize AutoCAD or Revit to generate floor plans, furniture layouts and install plans
  • Prepare client-facing presentations including Product Catalogs, Design Proposals and Standard Packages using Adobe Creative software
  • Provide design support and creative assistance for client projects (site analysis, floor plans, CAD renderings, color palettes, design plans, mood-boards)
  • Create trend reports to present and share findings with the Business Design Team
  • Collaborate with other sales and service teams and Business Account Managers on large projects
  • Partner with the Design Leadership team as the owner of cadenced customer outreach, customer funnel management, and lead assignment
  • Work directly with Design clients in need of samples and custom orders; communicate with suppliers and manufacturers on sample requests, custom orders, product lead times, and pricing

What You’ll Need:

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Current Sophomore or Junior student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Interior Design or a relevant discipline with a 3.0 GPA minimum
  • Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the Co-op
  • Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from January 6 to June 20, 2025
  • You must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in Google suite, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, MyDoma, Spoak or comparable design software
  • Additional proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and Salesforce / Salesloft is a plus

B2C (business-to-consumer):

Our team of interior designers creates beautiful spaces for clients of every scope and budget. We help a variety of clients from all walks of life including B2B clients working on their personal residences. Our designers work with clients from initial intake form through to purchase, managing each phase of the project. As an Interior Design Co-op on the Virtual Design Services team you will learn from a team of experts how to assess client needs, source materials, build renderings, and close deals. You will also get to peak behind the curtain to see how team management decisions are made and how to run a design business.

Wayfair Co-op Program Overview:

Our co-op program is a six-month, full-time, paid program that runs twice annually in January to June and July to December. Through the co-op program, students have the opportunity to gain impactful professional experience in their major or career field of interest by fully integrating with Wayfair business units. Wayfair’s Physical Retail team is seeking a Senior Manager of Fixture Design and Production  to direct a store design function that will enable the organization’s physical retail agenda. This role will be an integral part of the Visual Merchandising Team that will help develop and implement the playbook to stand up and scale stores in North America for all 5 Wayfair brands. 

The Senior Manager of Fixture Design and Procurement will work with cross-functional partners (e.g., Merchandising, Creative, Customer Experience, Store Operations) to build and execute a strategy that supports Wayfair’s expansion of physical retail - translating brand, product, and visual strategies into a cohesive, compelling, and cost effective fixture packages that support the in-store assortment. We are seeking a motivated leader who can develop our fixture program strategy for the visual merchandising department and provide thought leadership to ensure that our stores are a major contributor to the financial success of our Wayfair physical retail platform.

This role is remote with heavy travel to Boston and future store sites. reports to the Director of Visual Merchandising, Physical Retail. The Senior Manager of Fixture Design and Production has significant cross-functional responsibility and opportunity for exposure to the Physical Retail Leadership team. As the retail portfolio grows, this role will work to build out a team to manage an increasing number of assets and transactions for the Wayfair portfolio of stores.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and drive the fixture program for the physical retail platform across all 5 store formats for Wayfair’s brands: Wayfair, AllModern, Joss & Main, Birch Lane and Perigold.
  • Partner with Design/Build to ensure space planning requirements are met & revisions are reflected in architectural workstreams. 
  • Design and evolve fixtures for current and future formats aligning with business needs and product category performance.
  • Develop and maintain internal fixture block library and coding 
  • Create a program of fixture accessories to complement the package and ensure all product categories are housed and highlighted appropriately.
  • Design and evolve the sign holder and wayfinding package for current and future formats aligning with in-store marketing strategy and amplifying the product and presentation strategies.
  • Work with manufacturers to produce fixture programs on schedule and within budget
  • On-going assessment of vendor performance to ensure high level of service and product.
  • Drive cost efficiencies across the program and store formats, and assist in owning the budget and purchase of the fixtures
  • Source and onboard new vendors as needed
  • Longer term - assist Procurement in bulk buy planning strategy

What You’ll Need:

  • Physical retail experience required, with preferred experience in standing up a retail store program
  • 7+ years of Fixture Design and Production experience
  • Demonstrable history delivering millwork, metals, etc.
  • Experience managing overseas factories is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Software, G Suite, CAD, Revvit, Sketch-up, Rhino
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks is a plus
  • Strong business management skills; demonstrated ability to lead important strategic initiatives and multitask
  • Proven team management and leadership skills; can inspire and motivate teams to bring future state vision to life
  • Able to collaborate across all levels of the organization to achieve objectives
  • Adaptability to organizational changes and complex structures
  • High degree of integrity and confidence in one’s abilities as a business leader

Wayfair Professional is seeking an experienced Account Executive to own, nurture and grow an Enterprise book of business that is centered around MultiFamily Property Management accounts.   • Manage existing accounts, developing and executing account strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction by performing a top-down sales approach
  • Lead the sales process through opportunity pipeline management, create tailored proposals to address client needs, establish contract and rebate programs to lock in programmatic sales
  • Leverage data to drive strategic sales decisions (proactive outreach, profitability, wallet penetration) 
  • Establish strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction by prospecting, networking (including attending trade shows, customer visits, etc.) and maintain communication at the executive level
  • Collaborate and coach EDM for upsell and cross-sell opportunities

What You'll Need:

Due to Wayfairs continued growth strategy we are looking to create a logistic network/ large parcel courier focused sales team focused on the UK and Ireland market.  Based at home or from one of our offices, as our Account Specialist you will harness strong partnerships within our existing accounts, promoting our full product range, understanding our client’s vision and requirements to enhance their customer experience.

In return, Wayfair will offer you an exciting and challenging environment, to support and harness your personal development and open career opportunities internationally.  Whilst also rewarding you with a quarterly bonus incentive, team and business awards and recognition. Initially this role is a fixed 6 month contract with potential to expand. 

What You'll Do:

  • Actively identify and target new business opportunities, qualifying and securing business meetings 
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a first point of contact for any issues or escalations.
  • Effectively manage and resolve all client queries, leveraging and escalating for cross functional support where suitable.
  • Establish and maintain market mapping of competitors and potential current & future prospects.
  • Support clients and stakeholders with ad hoc administrative and reporting requirements;
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing processes for clients
  • Provide support for business development initiatives and any other project related activities;

What You'll Have:

  • Proven track record in Account Management and/or Sales highlighting a strength in developing and expanding accounts- eCommerce / B2B sales experience is an advantage.
  • Are an effective communicator, displaying strong listening skills to engage, collaborate and qualify opportunities.
  • Display a passion for providing and enhancing customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated, resilient/ adaptable and focused to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Are results driven, detail oriented and a motivated team player who thrives within a targeted environment.
  • Have strong IT skills, with the agility to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

Although not essential, any specific industry knowledge in 3PL, logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain would also be of interest, however if you have the appetite to join a fast paced, agile and forward thinking business we can't wait to meet you.
