 What you’ll do:

  • You will have experience in a localisation, content or project management position, ideally in the fintech industry, with experience in localising in multiple regions;
  • You will support with the localisation of Xe product/marketing/support content
  • Ensure appropriate levels of utilisation and refine our outsourcing strategy to achieve the best outcome in terms of time, quality and costs.
  • Set and monitor localisation quality standards in the team
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to promote synergies between markets and refine our tools, workflows and processes
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, consistently questioning the status quo and innovating where needed
  • Liaise and partner with key stakeholders in marketing, product or support teams to improve the customer experience for their region
  • Flex the localisation methodology in your team to drive efficiencies where appropriate

Who you are:

  • You will ideally have at least 3 years of experience in localisation or project management.
  • You will be an English speaker who is ideally also fluent in either Spanish, French, Dutch or German.
  • You have experience in launching new languages and markets within a global organisation
  • You have a strong grasp of localisation and internationalisation issues
  • You have experience setting and delivering OKRs for a project.
  • You have strong cross-functional and stakeholder management skills
  • You are familiar with CMS and MT tools as well as best practices in terms of quality management processes and workflows
  • You have strong attention to detail and are committed to providing high-quality localisation
  • You have an analytical mind, and can express it constructively to achieve what’s best for customers
  • You manage your time efficiently and are used to working in a fast-paced environment with concurring deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of quality
  • Your cultural sensitivity and awareness allow you to accurately convey cultural nuances in your work
  • You have at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Contract Settlement: Organise contract settlement for the current value date
  • Global Bank Accounts: Manage money in and money out of global bank accounts; process and authorise receipts and payments
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal stakeholders, both, locally and globally (APAC, NAM, UK), namely Service Delivery, Compliance and Global Operations Team on a wide range of queries, including anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions queries and FX contract queries

  • Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve any settlement/account errors, internally and with global banking partners

  • Settling Trades: Support Treasury Risk Management in agreeing and settling trades with banking counterparties
  • Managing and matching MT300 confirmations in Mysis and referring bank confirmation anomalies to TRM for correction
  • Confirming options with banking counterparties and agreeing premium

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

  • FX/Financial Services: Some relevant experience in a financial services or FX organisation, undertaking payment tasks and understanding of cash flows.

Reporting directly into the Director of Treasury Risk Management, this is a vital role at the heart of our business. Working as part of a global team, the primary responsibility is to provide 'liquidity' to all of the different business units: making sure deals are priced correctly and that all of the currency accounts are funded appropriately. This is a great opportunity to learn the inner workings of a global financial technology business as all the technical knowledge for this role will be taught on the desk. The role will also work closely with the back office and dealing teams.

  • Price offline trades Ownership of the extended currency process (This requires a good working relationship with BAML who provide us liquidity for these currencies)

  • Managing collateral with our Banks, making sure that we are not under or over collateralised
  • Actioning rollovers at predetermined times (clients who are unable to deliver on their contracted date have their currency deal rolled).
  • Covering User Acceptance Testing.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Xe’s Global Risk and Compliance team is seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our Global Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) as a Senior FIU Analyst. In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding the global financial system and Xe group by detecting and analysing unusual activity using financial intelligence systems and procedures to identify potential money laundering, terrorist financing and other financial crimes. Reporting to the Head of Compliance – Australia, this role will work with a geographically diverse team of FIU specialists and have a focus primarily on our APAC operations. You will be utilizing a variety of interconnected tools and technologies, as well as your strong ability to assess risk for the detection, analysis and response to potentially harmful or anomalous activity. You will be responsible for ensuring all reporting obligations under the AML/CTF legislation in Australia and New Zealand are completed within the required timeframe and check automated reporting for any system failures or rejections and resubmit as appropriate.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Your mission will include executing and supporting the further development of the post-transaction monitoring, analysis and reporting program. This role will include the performance of the following tasks:
  • A hands-on professional, the Compliance FIU Analyst performs AML/CTF and fraud investigations to support the timely and thorough preparation of Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) for submission to AUSTRAC.
  • Provides quantitative and qualitative feedback on the transaction monitoring program, conducting post-transactional analysis, special investigations and drafting of SMRs.
  • Provides high-quality written reporting of investigative analysis, findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Produce data visualization dashboards and metrics to illustrate trends and patterns in customer transactions and behaviour.
  • Continuously identifies emerging typologies and risk indicators to inform and optimize the transaction monitoring program.
  • Ensure timely resolution of partner Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Identifies and recommends new leads and trends for potential investigations.
  • Proactively identifies and communicates opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiencies.
  • Adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and consistently achieves results-based targets.
  • Formalizes and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics or Business Administration.
  • Courses, certification, or studies in compliance related matters (CAMS, ICA or similar) is preferred.
  • Minimum +2 years of experience in AML/CTF environment or compliance risk management.
  • Strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to follow-through on the task provided.
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel (pivot, macros, advanced formulas), Power BI (DAX, power query) and data analysis tools.
  • High attention to detail, personal organization and ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate and build trusted-advisor relationships at all levels.

The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for assisting with ensuring Xe‘s Compliance framework complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies. In addition, you are responsible for assisting the Head of Compliance and AML Compliance Officer in management of the Compliance Assurance and Financial Crime Compliance programs, ensuring that Xe’s products and services offered are in compliance and the operations are consistent with regulatory requirements and conditions.

What you’ll do

● Oversight of the Compliance Monitoring Program, providing assurance controls and processes are in compliance and operating effectively with current legal and regulatory conditions and aligning the business and its operations with future legal and regulatory requirements and conditions.

● Reviewing reports from the Compliance Operations team, ensuring transaction monitoring alerts are reviewed in a timely manner, SMRs and other reports or filings are submitted within the required regulatory timeframe.

● Provide support with organising and executing on regulatory examinations and Independent Reviews.

● Provide support with respect to responding to regulatory consumer complaints, bank requests for information and due diligence questionnaires.

● Support on reviewing and updating policies, procedures, and compliance training.  Coordinates with Compliance Operations team on implementation.

● Support on any other regulatory and compliance matters, as indicated by the Head of Compliance.

● Providing support in undertaking trend analysis to determine key risks areas to the business from a compliance perspective.

Who you are

● You’ll demonstrate a track record gained working within a similar role either within the FX, OTC derivatives or payments industry, or within a highly regulated financial services organisation for a minimum of 5 years.

● Solid understanding and experience in relevant ASIC regulatory guides, regulatory portals, AFSL licensing and regulatory reporting requirements.

● Must have a detailed knowledge of legal, regulatory compliance and operational risk issues.

● Possess a strong ability to articulate and communicate risk and compliance issues across all levels and verticals within the business.

What you'll do

  • Act as a brand ambassador and manage multiple vacancies across various Corporate Functions at Xe, which is focused on delivering a world-class candidate experience, enabling the business to hire the very best talent in a timely and cost-effective manner
