Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Director to lead the sales efforts for our Pharma Competitive Intelligence and Consulting team. The individual will be responsible for generating and managing new business opportunities to deliver the sales and revenue target for the group. This role will work closely with senior leadership of m360, M3 Global Research, and clients to align business development strategies with market needs and company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve the target revenue within the first year.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector, with a particular focus on competitive intelligence and consulting services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including senior-level executives at pharmaceutical companies.
  • Understand and anticipate client needs to propose tailored solutions that meet business objectives and position M360 Research as a strategic partner.
  • Lead and manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, proposals, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal Pharma CI teams, including consulting and research experts, to ensure seamless client engagement, delivery of services, and solutions.
  • Provide ongoing account management and ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, forecasts, and market trends to senior management.
  • Represent M360 Research at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and expand market reach.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends in pharma and competitive intelligence.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in business development within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sector, with a focus on competitive intelligence or consulting services.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a business development or sales leadership role.
  • Strong network of contacts within the pharmaceutical industry, especially with decision-makers at early-stage and mid-sized pharma companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets and grow business portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience collaborating with large cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client solutions.
  • Knowledge of competitive intelligence methodologies and pharma market dynamics is a strong advantage.

About This Role

What You'll Do
•    Ensure payroll activities are performed timely and accurately for the assigned region; manage workload and assign backups, oversee seamless payroll execution, manage KPIs, drive issue resolution and manage escalations. 
•    Ensure all transactions are processed in compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as government agency regulations, taxes are paid, and applicable documents filed in a timely manner.
•    Partner with Finance & HR affiliate leads, GBS leadership and peers; maintain regular dialogue with partners to discuss ongoing team activities, issues, opportunities and performance. Manage payroll vendor relationships to drive best-in-class payroll and time-tracking process execution.
•    Own processes for the North American region; ensure process standardization, process documentation and drive meaningful process improvement. Partner with HR and IT to ensure system readiness and optimization. Act as Project Manager for selected projects within the assigned region.
•    Provide support to team members; build trust and act as first point of contact for HR related matters, manage performance, coach team members and ensure development activities are performed regularly, motivate team members, develop cross team collaboration, monitor employees' wellbeing.

Who You Are
You are customer service-oriented payroll professional experienced in overseeing multi-state payroll operations. You are knowledgeable in payroll and time & attendance technologies. You thrive in team leadership and excel in motivating and developing team members.  You have a continuous improvement mind-set, excel in problem solving and building relationships.

•    HR/payroll/finance professional with 7-10 years of experience in an operational role; CPP is a plus.
•    Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience is required.
•    Knowledge of payroll and time & attendance technologies and vendors.
•    Experienced with analysis of payroll data to identify areas of improvement, cost drivers, and impacts of Total Rewards programs and policies.
•    Proven track record in the management of complex global environments and experience in delivering a continuous improvement agenda.

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in MIS, MBA, or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in delivering SAP business applications, with at least 5 years in SAP BRIM FICA FSCM modules delivering 3+ implementations
  • Hands-on functional configuration and design experience in payments, collections, credit, disputes, and cash processes using SAP BRIM Solution Components such as Contract Accounting (FI-CA), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills. Over 5 years of experience as a manager and people leader working with executives, director and above across IT and business units

About This Role

This position will work closely with multiple cross-functional partners, such as sales, commercial operations, product, and enablement to ensure our solutions are being created and positioned most effectively to our customers. This will require regular executive-level presentations on topics ranging from sales strategy, go-to-market planning, customer needs, and how to optimize our service overall.

Specific job responsibilities include:

  • You will lead, manage, and coach a team of digital strategy partners; driving their career growth and ensuring the success of the customers they support.
  • Partner with the Digital Solutions and Commercial Partnerships leadership teams in developing a vision and strategic plan to guide the impact and processes of the team.
  • Align closely with commercial and sales leadership teams to proactively identify opportunities, allocate our team’s time appropriately, and accelerate our key sales initiatives.

The digital solutions team works with health systems across the country, as well as many different roles within iRhythm, to deliver high quality solutions to add value for their clinicians and staff. The ideal candidate will also be able to jump in as a subject matter expert or ‘pinch hitter’ on our customer engagements as needed.

  • While your recent experience may be in management, we’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to dig in and participate in a hands-on capacity, utilizing your selling, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help drive our internal and external engagements.

Your main responsibilities:

We’re looking for a strategic, creative and data-driven lifecycle marketing expert to own all aspects of our lifecycle marketing; from nurturing and converting leads to driving engagement and retention with users throughout their Meru Health journey. This role will work cross-functionally with marketing, product, data and clinical teams to develop compelling storytelling, deliver campaigns that add value at every touchpoint, and achieve growth through hypothesis-driven experimentation. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our messages reach the right audience at the right time. And as a data enthusiast, you will become an expert in our users, diving deep into the data to get at the core of how to attract, convert, engage and retain users.

Your areas of ownership:

  1. Effectively nurture leads, convert prospects, and increase customer retention through onboarding and in-product outreaches
    • Own and execute lead nurture/re-engagement email and SMS campaigns, from content creation, setting up and optimizing campaigns to analyzing and reporting on opportunities to improve performance and increase LTV
    • Support A/B tests in subject lines, creative, and copy tests to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
    • Design and optimize member journey maps, identifying key touch points and opportunities for engagement and personalization across email, SMS, direct mail, digital marketing advertising, chat, in-app messaging, and other channels as they are implemented
    • Partner with product and marketing to run experiments along the member journey, using multi-channel communications and effective storytelling

    At the company level, your passion for building great products, especially in early to mid-stage companies, will lead you to have a meaningful and positive impact on both the product and the company. In addition, you will have the opportunity to help expand the engineering team and build out architecture and processes as we scale

    This is a fully remote position.

    Primary duties

    • Architect, build, and maintain the core infrastructure across the platforms – messaging, data, and workflow
    • Maintain and create REST and gRPC APIS for external and internal customers
    • Define contracts between the platforms and enforce consistency in coding and data
    • Identify bottlenecks and points of scale and make recommendations on how to maximize throughput and efficiency, then lead the team to implement
    • Work closely with the Director of Engineering to create and evolve a technical strategy that brings Postscript to the forefront of the technical space we are in
    • Take ownership and get creative with your solutions, dive into bold ideas in order to achieve outstanding results
    • Contribute to the health of the teams you mentor through honest and direct feedback as we iterate and improve our technology
    • Guide your team to make optimal technical and infrastructure decisions, using POCs and new technologies to drive change
    • Mentor other engineers on best practices, standards, and learning opportunities
    • Be accountable for communicating transparently and proactively, defining scope, breaking down and estimating tasks, risk and change management

    What We’ll Love About You

    • A proven career as a software engineer developing backend applications and APIs
    • 8+ years experience using Golang (Kafka and MongoDB a plus). SaaS experience preferred, history of working with Python a plus.
    • Experience with or exposure to migration off a monolithic architecture a plus
    • Familiarity with building, deploying, and maintaining applications on AWS services using Terraform
    • Expertise in NoSQL and SQL, and experience with database modeling (Postgres, MongoDB)
    • Experience building modular, flexible architectures (avoiding vendor lock-in, maximizing readability and extensibility)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience in high growth, early stage tech preferred
    • Experience coaching, mentoring and onboarding engineers
