The Role: Senior Associate, Security GRC

Gemini has an exciting opportunity for a Security GRC Senior Associate. The company seeks to identify a highly proactive and technical individual with proven talent in security process development, policy enforcement, and evidence collection automation.  The successful candidate will work alongside the rest of the GRC team to ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines align with regulatory requirements and security frameworks.  This individual will work with other internal teams to align security goals and objectives with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Gemini’s effort of rigorous access and entitlement reviews to close identified security gaps.
  • Conduct consistent partnership and vendor reviews to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Review authorized application reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Support Gemini’s response to Regulators, Auditors, Client inquiries, and Due Diligence Questionnaires.
  • Support Gemini’s efforts to maintain SOC 2 Type 2, ISO27001, PCI DSS, and other security certifications. 
  • Support Gemini security compliance to NYSDFS Reg. 500, CBI, UK FCA and other regulators. 
  • Support Gemini in automating the evidence collection process for audits.
  • Support Gemini compliance with NYSDFS Regulation 500. 
  • Automate the enforcement of security requirements to policies, procedures, and guidelines.  
  • Develop tooling to track the organization Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance status.
  • Develop and implement strategies to audit internal security/cybersecurity controls. 
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to the team and leadership for additional policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Understand, automate, and regulate internal Identity, Access, and Entitlements Management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the field.
  • Experience in the cyber security field developing and/or updating cyber security related documentation, policies, procedures and standards.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, auditors, and team members.
  • Strong organization skills to prioritize work and balance complex projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Former/Current ISO lead auditor certification.
  • Formerly/Currently a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).
  • Experience automating evidence and artifact collection for regulatory bodies.

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $119,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. THE ROLE

Auto Express is seeking a dynamic and experienced Editor-at-Large to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for cars, exceptional writing skills, and extensive knowledge of the automotive industry, as well as established strong relationships with manufacturers and key figures. As Editor-at-Large, you will play a crucial role in shaping our editorial voice, producing high-quality content, and representing Auto Express at industry events.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Write in-depth features, reviews, opinion pieces, and news articles on a wide range of automotive topics.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to develop and execute content strategies that align with our brand and engage our audience.
  • Attend automotive events, car launches, press briefings, and other industry gatherings to gather insights and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a public face of Auto Express, participating in media appearances, interviews, and panel discussions.
  • Work closely with editors, writers, photographers, and digital teams to ensure the highest standards of content quality and consistency.
  • Help ensure the entire team is producing the best-quality work, and help leave the drive to even greater writing.
  • Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and market changes to ensure Auto Express stays at the forefront of automotive journalism.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in automotive journalism or a related field, with a strong portfolio of published work.
  • You possess exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • You have a strong understanding of SEO and digital content strategies.
  • You have a deep understanding of the automotive industry, including current trends, technologies, and key players.
  • You have an established network of industry contacts and the ability to build new relationships.
  • You are willing to travel frequently for events, car launches, and other assignments.
