What you’ll do:
- Dive into team-based brainstorming sessions and technical writing during DevSecOps Hackathons/Tech Challenges
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design and develop secure, automated technology stacks mainly using open source.
- Work within Agile frameworks, integrating DevSecOps principles across various projects and research initiatives.
- Focus on designing and implementing cloud infrastructure that prioritizes security and compliance.
- Developing Command-Line Interface (CLI) tools, complex automation, and web services using Golang.
- Utilize your expertise in DevOps tools like GitHub Actions, Plumuni, and the CNCF ecosystem to improve automation for faster, more reliable deployments.
- Partner with IT, security/risk, and business teams to ensure seamless cloud operations and address operational challenges.
- Stay ahead of the curve by continuously learning about the latest technologies and best practices in security, automation, and cloud.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- You have a Top-Secret government-issued security clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in technology (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) OR equivalent military experience
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience with designing and developing DevOps solution architecture
- You have the ability and are excited to learn and write code in Golang, Python, or Javascript.
- You have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the ability to learn Microsoft Azure and other Cloud Service Providers.
- You have experience developing and configuring CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Github, or Gitlab
- You have experience with building infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation)
- You have experience with containerization technologies and orchestration (Kubernetes, AWS ECS, OpenShift)
- You have experience working in fast-paced, structured SDLC processes, including configuration and release management to release into production environments
