Daily Responsibilities

  • Modelling efficient assets that fit the style of the game.
  • Creating photorealistic original textures through the use of various tools and middleware.
  • Setting up materials and shaders to achieve the best possible quality.
  • Effectively cooperating with other artists and designers involved in creating locations, cinematics and gameplay.
  • Adhering to technical specifications during environmental asset creation.
  • Maintaining the production pipeline and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in the video games industry. 
  • Proficiency in using Blender or one of the leading 3d content creation tools (3DS Max, Maya, etc.).
  • Very good knowledge of Substance Painter and Photoshop.
  • Very good knowledge of Zbrush
  • Very good knowledge of composition, colour theory and lighting.
  • Very Good knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR).
  • Creativity and an excellent eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluent English.

  • Take small to large IT, Security and Compliance programs/projects from original concept through final implementation 

  • Develop detailed program/project execution plan, and manage all implementation processes including projects financials, progress tracking, metrics, monitoring change control process, testing, release to production and delivery within budget constraints

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have: 

  • MUST HAVE experience with M&A due diligence and integration 

  • 10+ years of hands-on project management experience 

  • 6-8 years of PM experience within a large to medium-sized software company 

  • Security experienced preferred but not required

  • Preferred candidate will have 4-5 years of experience with Security topics, compliance and managing security projects 

  • Excellent organizational skills, solid attention to detail and proven project management skills 
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to execute process improvements and solutions 

  • Proven success in working collaboratively, improving efficiency, and crafting/coordinating the implementation of ideas 

  • Experience managing multiple large programs/projects, in enterprise environments delivering business applications for one or more departments 

  • Experience with Agile traits and techniques: Lean design, accommodating changing requirements, iterations, loop feedback with customer involvement 

  • Ability to guide teams and provide technical solutions while mitigating or removing hurdles / obstacles

  • An understanding of global cybersecurity themes, regulations, trends, tools, and terms 

  • Experience managing a portfolio of programs and projects 

  • Experience working with auditors and audit findings preferably focused on security is desirable 

  • Excellent teamwork, communication skills, problem solving, conflict resolution management, active listening, time management, interpersonal skills, negotiation and persuasion with demonstrated ability to partner with teams across the company 

  • Exceptional relationship building skills with empathy and social awareness to successfully work with people and groups from various cultural backgrounds and locations worldwide 

 

PREFERRED Experience 

  • Active holder of one or more professional designations or accreditations in relevant field, e.g., Certified Program Mgmt. Professional (PMP); CSPO (product owner) or CSSM (Scrum Master); Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green/Black Belt.

Overview 

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join Electric. You will be a critical piece of our Finance & Accounting department with an opportunity to grow within the organization. In this position, you will handle all accounting operations within the company, and verify financial records and transactions. You must have keen attention to detail and maintain account balances, financial statements, general ledger, and all reports. You will report to the Accounting Manager, with direct access and the opportunity to work with the Controller.

What you’ll do 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Netsuite and build and implement internal controls ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy of reporting 
  • Perform month-end close activities, including preparation & review of journal entries and reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  • Assist in the efforts for the preparation, review and approval of the organization’s financial statements, including financial statement analysis and documentation of meaningful explanations or fluctuations
  • Participate in streamlining and process improvement projects to increase efficiencies accounting processes and systems
  • Work cross-functionally on strategic company projects/initiatives and apply critical thinking skills to provide solutions that drive company performance
  • Work with external auditors for year-end financial statement audits
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Be in charge of the monthly revenue accounting processes in adherence to ASC 606
  • Coordinate with other departments to obtain transaction information, research reconciling items, and resolve issues
  • Serve as a trusted resource to the Staff Accountants and other members of the team
  • Support leadership in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned

Who you are

About this team and role:

As a Senior Staff Full-Stack Engineer on the Solo team, you will work within a very small engineering team for Solo AI Website Creator. The stack includes a React front-end with Netlify, Firebase and GCP on the backend, BigQuery for data as well as a range of 3rd party services. 

You should be comfortable operating in a scrappy environment, researching as required, writing technical specs, reviewing PRs, investigating customer support issues and mostly writing code. The role may evolve to becoming the Technical Lead within the team and possibly assuming some planning and/or light-weight project management duties. You will be working closely with the Head of Solo to execute at a fast cadence and much like a startup, directly influence the shape and future of Solo, an early-stage product.

For background, Solo is at its first inflection point within Mozilla and has the opportunity to become a serious disruptor in an entrenched category. This team very much operates like a startup, mostly synchronous with work sometimes carrying into weekends. What you’ll do...

  • Build back-end infra atop Google Cloud and assist on front-end experiences for a new product ideas within the Innovation Studio.

  • Participate in code/design/architecture reviews; clearly communicate alternative viewpoints.

  • Creation of Infrastructure level Designs for the implementation/adaptation of enterprise application/solutions and the creation of the equivalent Operation guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor plus 7 years of relevant experience.
  • More than 3 years of Experience in creating Technical Designs both at a High Level as a Detailed level, that lead to implementation including monitoring characteristics, backup and restore, etc.
  • More than 5 years of Experience in the installation and configuration of Windows Servers and/or Linux server operating systems, including the interaction with Infrastructure at large ( File shares with CIFS/SMB and NFS, secure LDAP integration, Public Key Certificates, Service accounts, etc.)
  • More than 2 years of experience in adapting  Infrastructure Designs, applying/devising Security hardening for each part of the solution, including leveraging well known frameworks ( e.g. CIS guidelines)
  • More than 3 years of experience with documenting technical specifications of solutions, in terms of infrastructure design material (deployment views, server and network specifications, etc.) as well as devising and documenting operations procedures
  • More than 3 years of experience in negotiation on technical level with different stake holders ( e.g. ICT Security, Governance, Data Protection, ICT Operations/Solution teams, Project Management, etc.)
  • Good knowledge in creating Technical Designs both at a High Level as a Detailed level, that lead to implementation.

  • Lead the design and execution of the enterprise security operations processes, procedures, and playbooks
  • Oversee and lead security operations in the identification and response to cyber threat activities and incident response
  • Lead and manage technology vulnerability identification and remediation/patching of priority vulnerabilities
  • Define and maintain the roadmap of program and technology changes being driven by effective threat analysis.
