The Role

We are opening a unique opportunity for a Head of Commercial. It’s the first commercial and pricing role at Plum, a role which will be key for our ability to scale sustainably across Europe! You will be setting up this new practice at Plum from the ground up, whilst focusing initially on 3 key topics:

  • Subscription pricing - Subscriptions are the main source of revenue for Plum
  • Pricing of our savings products
  • European expansion (focus on France and Greece)

You will report directly to the CEO and have an opportunity to own and drive key decisions for Plum, whilst working with a dynamic cross-functional team.

What will you do

  • Holistically drive the decision making regarding Subscription pricing, promoting alignment across key teams involved (Product, Finance, Marketing)
  • Form a top level strategy for pricing savings and investment products at Plum, taking into consideration the different subscriber and user segments.
  • Own the teams responsible for scaling Plum in France and Greece, two markets we already have strong presence and key partnerships (EuroBank Greece x Plum partnership).
  • Form key partnerships with internal teams like Subscription Product Squad and Finance.
  • Take a data-driven approach when possible to your decisions
  • Form a central view of competitor pricing strategies so we can collectively learn from it.
  • Scale a team to be able to tackle the many challenges we have in the domains mentioned above, taking key part on hiring this talent.


Who you are

  • You are experienced in owning and growing PnL of key B2C products, using commercial and pricing strategies.
  • Experience in a B2C strong Product centric setting.
  • Deep knowledge of pricing economic fundamentals and methodologies we can use to make decisions in this area. You will build scenario for pricing sensitivity.
  • Ideally experienced across international expansion projects
  • Experienced working cross-functionally, especially with Product & Engineering functions, as well as Marketing and Finance.
  • You have hired and mentored teams successfully in the past, in high pace dynamic environments.
  • Excellent at communicating clearly and inspiringly, facilitating decision making on major trade-off decisions in the company.
  • You are impact driven, love a challenge, and have a self-starter mindset

The Opportunity

As a Manager, Marketing Operations, you will:

Key responsibilities 

Strategic Financial Leadership:

  • Lead the overall finance function with a focus on aligning financial strategies with the company’s long-term vision, driving both strategic initiatives and operational excellence.

  • Develop and implement sophisticated financial models that address the needs of both the B2B SaaS and B2C aspects of the business.
  • Lead efforts to accurately determine and optimise gross profit margins across different products and markets, and assess the return on investments for both revenue-generating (e.g., marketing) and non-revenue-generating (e.g., new courses, product improvements) initiatives, leveraging experience in similar environments.
  • Conduct research and analysis around market expansion opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations to the rest of the leadership team.

Efficient Execution of Finance Projects:

  • Take ownership of key finance projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively, drawing on prior experience to deliver results quickly.

Investor Relations & Fundraising:

  • Manage and build strong relationships with existing investors, providing them with accurate and timely financial information and updates.
  • Establish and manage relationships with investors, banks, lenders, and other financial institutions to proactively and independently drive forward and secure funding options and support the company’s financial health.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  • Ensure seamless execution of core financial operations including timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management accounts, reports and HMRC filings such as VAT returns.
  • Oversee compliance with relevant financial standards, ensuring that the company’s financial practices are robust and scalable.

Team Development & Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, proactivity, and accountability.
  • Identify and address any skill gaps within the team, providing training and development opportunities where needed.

Proactive Problem-Solving:

  • Identify key financial issues before they become critical, setting goals and driving initiatives that address potential challenges proactively.
  • Develop and implement processes that improve financial transparency, accountability, and decision-making across the company.
  • Utilise extensive experience to drive financial projects forward at pace, making continual improvements and delivering results on a monthly or quarterly basis.

The Senior Product Manager role spans a wide breadth of experience at Superhuman. Our compensation band reflects the potentially broad range of candidates and experience levels that we are open to hiring for this role. 

Our starting salaries for this role range from $160,000 - $180,000+. The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and company stock options. 

We are open to candidates in the US, Canada, or Latin America. We take a locally informed approach to non-US-based compensation and will be able to share ranges based on your country of residence.

    We are seeking an innovative Product Manager to drive the development of the demand side of our SaaS-enabled B2C marketplace. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs and behaviors, developing strategies to enhance product-led acquisition, retention, and engagement.     What You’ll Do

    • Partner with Engineering and Operations to drive effective product discovery to generate meaningful value for our customers through prototypes, experiments, insights, and iteration.
    • Collaborate with your Product peers to manage the balance of supply and demand within the marketplace, ensuring a healthy ecosystem for both healthcare facilities on the demand side and healthcare professionals on the supply side.
    • Collaborate with client teams to set, meet, and exceed customer expectations, through technology with a platform-led mindset to deliver value to a growing user base at scale. This includes optimizing client onboarding and enhancing user experience to drive and accelerate revenue growth.
    • Collaborate with business operational stakeholders on tooling requirements, driving build vs. buy assessment when needed, to create efficiencies for clients as well as the internal team members that support them.
    • Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs
    • Define, implement, and track key performance indicators to measure the outcomes of our solutions. 

    What we're looking for

    • 8+ years of product management experience working with Engineering teams on SaaS or tech-enabled marketplaces.
    • Proven track record for taking products from 0 to 1 (inception to launch)
    • Definitive UX/design sensibility
    • Executing amidst ambiguity: Structuring the problem, defining the roadmap and metrics, iterating rapidly through experimentation, and delivering value to our customers. 
    • Data-driven: Experience defining metrics and running experiments and testing.
    • You are a self-starter and have a history of successfully building and managing products that users love.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves and wear many hats to get the job done
    • Ability to zoom in to the technical details and zoom out to the customer’s operational reality.

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $143,865.00 - $201,308.00. Equity, bonus or commission and benefits may also be provided as part of the total compensation package, depending on the position offered.     About the Role -While you’re likely familiar with Instacart’s role in consumer’s lives - giving them access to the food they love so they have more time to enjoy it together - we also have a thriving B2B business that helps retailers and CPG brands reimagine the ways in which they connect with consumers. Particularly on the CPG side of the business, our vision is to become an indispensable marketing partner to every brand. To date, we have built an advertising business which has enabled brands to drive awareness, consideration, and sales on our platform and the CPG Co-Marketing team is looking to expand on those capabilities even further. We are looking to partner with brand marketers at CPG organizations to make magic together. Through co-branded marketing campaigns, we aim to bring the incredible brand power and story telling of CPGs together with our ability to get products in the hands of consumers in as little as 30 minutes. This may include enabling CPG brands to play a major role in our seasonal marketing or building custom marketing campaigns in partnership with our CPG advertisers. Our goal will be to enable our CPG partner’s marketing campaigns to be shoppable & measurable whether it be a new product launch, a major event, or a brand campaign.

     

    About the Team -The CPG Co-Marketing team at Instacart, which sits at the intersection of B2B & B2C, is a small team that is still building the foundations of what we can bring to our CPG partners. As a Co-Marketing manager you would work closely with our Brand Partnerships team to build, price, package, and sell custom co-marketing packages. You will also partner closely with our internal creative, brand marketing, and performance marketing teams to build & execute world class campaigns with and for our CPG partners. 

     

    About the Job

    As a CPG Co-Marketing Manager you would be responsible for:

    • Planning, developing, & executing advertiser-driven, revenue-generating marketing initiatives 
    • Partnering with our sales team to bring custom proposals to our CPG advertisers based on client briefs/RFPs, data, insights, and marketing priorities
    • Partnering with our brand partnerships team to build, price, & position compelling sponsorship packages
    • Crafting strong narratives that communicate why CPG brands should uniquely partner with Instacart
    • Collaborating effectively with Instacart consumer marketing teams to incorporate CPG partners into the existing marketing calendar
    • Committing to and delivering on ad revenue goals to drive overall company profitabilityBecoming an expert in our advertising platform and ideating on ways to pair standard advertising opportunities with custom marketing activations to create 360 integrated marketing campaigns
    • Diving into campaign measurement & performance to build the strongest marketing campaigns possible.

    About You

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 4-8+ years of experience in a co-marketing, partner marketing, or integrated marketing role at a media or tech company, or an account manager role at an agency with experience creating campaigns with multiple brands
    • Experience working in a client or partner facing role 
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, creative, pricing, finance, & legal as well as third party agencies
    • Baseline familiarity with strategy, execution, & performance benchmarks of a wide breadth of marketing channels including CRM, organic social, paid media, and influencer
    • Comfort driving decision making with minimal manager support
    • Strong written & verbal communication
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities
    • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively
    • Ability to navigate & influence internal executive-level stakeholders
    • You identify as scrappy, creative, & willing to try new things
    • You have an interest in working in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment with changing responsibilities, and a willingness to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed

    We're looking for an experienced Principal Data Engineer to join our Data Platform Engineering team. Our team is responsible for enabling H&H business (Product, Analytics, Operations, Finance, Data Science, Machine Learning, Customer Experience, Engineering) by providing a platform with a rich set of data and tools to leverage.

    • Serve as a technical leader within the Data Platform org. Provide expert guidance and hands-on development of complex engineering problems and projects

    You Have:

    • Proven expertise in designing data platforms for large-scale data and diverse data architectures, including warehouses, lakehouses, and integrated data stores.
    • Proficiency and hands-on knowledge in a variety of technologies such as SQL, Bash, Python, Java, Presto, Spark, AWS, data streaming like Kafka, RabbitMQ,

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    African Leadership University is at exciting phase of its five year growth plan and is seeking an experienced and results driven Regional Manager who will be responsible for enrolling fee-paying students throughout Francophone Africa, especially in key markets such as (Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon).

    A candidate with previous experience in enrollment for higher education and postgraduate education and who has existing relationships with corporate and executive clients is a bonus. Success will be measured by the ability to lead their team to  execute the outreach activities, meet (and exceed) targets, and increase ALU’s share of voice among key stakeholders in designated markets. We need an ambitious and passionate salesperson to empower us to grow market share in Francophone Africa.

    Extensive travel is required.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The role requires a self directed individual who is motivated by commercial results and has experience in the education sector.

    • Lead and manage initiatives to generate high-quality leads into the ALUSB application pipeline that contribute to meeting the recruitment targets
    • Plan and implement the student referral process by ensuring quality leads enter the pipeline
    • Manage communication channels in the student referral process through emails, newsletters, and direct calls
    • Plan and oversee stakeholder engagement, webinars, and events
    • Engage leads up to the point of admission and as a support contact person up to the point of enrolment
    • Build sustainable relationships with key influencers ( high school associations, education agencies, corporations)
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with ALU partner organisations (Foundations etc.)
    • Utilise the available resources in an engaging manner to drive the AL Group narrative
    • Grow our database of educators and schools and maintain ownership ofthe pipeline data
    • Plan the facilitation of seminars and workshops to nurture prospective students and clients
    • Prepare reports and proposals as necessary for current and potential clients
    • Share feedback and insights from the market to inform AL Group’s overall Francophone student recruitment strategy
    • Support the development and implementation of a strategy to improve awareness of applications to ALU by fee-paying students from across the continent
    • Provide support to fee-paying students throughout the application and enrollment journey
    • Manage recruitment reps to deliver on enrollment targets 
    • Other related duties that may be assigned by your Manager

    REQUIREMENTS
