We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to lead the in-person payments strategy for a global payments organization. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the terminal strategy in the United States and leveraging various payment solutions globally, including tap to pay, QR code payments, and physical terminal devices. The includes working with vendors and providers of our terminal solutions, helping oversee terminal setup automation, deployment, and ensuring our terminal solutions support our business goals. To succeed at Xplor, you must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be comfortable in highly collaborative environments while also being comfortable making decisions and completing work independently. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement in-person payment acceptance strategy, working closely with vendors like Adyen and Stripe to ensure local and global consistency in solving payment-related challenges. 

  • Own the terminal strategy specifically in the United States market, ensuring alignment with overall global objectives. 
    Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive the adoption of innovative payment solutions, such as tap to pay and QR code payments. 

  • Explore and navigate the cultural differences and nuances in payment preferences across regions including APAC, EU, UK, Canada, and the Philippines. 

  • Ensure our terminal-based solutions accomplish the needs of our business objectives, and where not, develop a plan to close the gaps needed. 

  • Ensure equipment setup and provisioning is accurate and supports a quick onboarding experience 

  • Own equipment deployment vendor selection and drive key items to continue to improve our equipment distribution process and capabilities. 

  • Own and develop the issue escalation process for terminal issues 

  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the in-person payments space. 

  • Work closely with Visa and other key partners to use their expertise and resources in enhancing US and global payment acceptance. 

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer and the competitive landscape to identify market and product opportunities. 

  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 

  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities. 

  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships. 

  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples. 

  • Be an expert with respect to the competition. 

  • Ability to support the Group Product Manager develop strong business plans, cost/benefit analysis, and action plans that can deliver value to our small to medium size merchants, and in turn help achieve revenue targets. 

  • Works with marketing and sales enablement to develop Go-to-Market strategies and positioning. 

  • In addition to launching products, you are highly motivated about measuring product adoption metrics or other key business metrics that can help increase revenue and/or reduce cost. 

  • Align with technical product owners and other stakeholders to prioritize the backlog of features to achieve the overarching strategy and roadmap. 

  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to measure product success and glean new insights. 

  • Understand, articulate, and capture customer and market problems and then translate them into market requirements for future product roadmap delivery.  

  • Create and utilize requirements documents, business plans, and launch plans for your products. 

  • Identify and develop key business development relationships needed to make your products successful in their respective verticals. 

  • Responsible for developing consumer and channel communication strategies for new product launch. 

  • Responsible for producing business statistics among which are price points, product mix sales history, and competition for product introduction. 

The average base salary pay range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000

Qualifications

Professional Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience in product management 

  • 2+ years prior experience with US based terminals is required 

  • Prior experience leading and coaching other product individuals 

  • Strong knowledge and experience working with Visa and global payment acceptance solutions. 

  • Proven record of accomplishment of developing and executing successful product strategies in a global context. 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different regions and cultures. 

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making approach. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset. 
    Experience in payments technology or SaaS software is highly desired. 

  • Experience in helping support, sell, or go to market involvement of a POS (Point of Sale) systems 

  • Direct experience with Agile software development methodologies. 

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. 

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make decisions. 

  • Team player who brings a "can do" attitude to work every day. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is a plus. 

  • Operational and financial astuteness is a plus

What You'll Do

Engineering Excellence: Lead and contribute to the development of our SaaS platform, focusing on high-quality, scalable solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks (React), and robust backend technologies (Ruby).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain global organizational documents, Board resolutions and other corporate records for the company and its subsidiaries, including making annual state filings, maintaining business licenses and other related submissions.
  • Manage the global lifecycle of subsidiaries by obtaining necessary approvals and preparing legal documents to effect formations, amendments to governing documents, officer and director modifications, qualifications to do business, withdrawals, mergers, etc.
  • Promptly assist with handling and responding to data subject rights requests; Help implement processes to track and comply with legal obligations respond to routine information requests to provide information about organizational structure, ownership and management from internal teams or external contacts in connection with their KYC/AML, RFI's and RFP's and other similar due diligence-type requests.
  • Manage the corporate entity database.
  • Assist with intellectual property, trademark and copyright portfolio management.
  • Receive and distribute mail.
  • Support due diligence and other key functions for M&A and other strategic corporate transactions.
  • Help project manage departmental operations, other special projects, and develop new process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with legal billing and invoice support, documentation and payables process.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience (M&A integrations experience helpful).
  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate.
  • NC Notary a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, critical thinking, and common-sense skills.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Prepares monthly recurring Revenue forecasting, Revenue related SaaS metrics reporting and scenario planning analysis. 
  • Pricing & “Deal desk”: develop a strong understanding of Cost of Good Solds (COGS) to enhance existing Pricing models and Margin analysis to support Deal evaluation. Support the Sales teams globally on Pricing evaluations (Discounting levels by Product).
  • Run the Long-Range Plan Financial Modeling and scenario planning. 
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by senior management. Provide decision support on strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Work closely with the Director of FP&A to be able to lead the FP&A cycle on an as needed basis and support in overall Month-end Variance analysis, bridges to Budget & Forecast as well as Board Reporting.  
  • Understand in depth and support the maintenance of the FP&A system (Adaptive Workday) reporting architecture, modeling calculations and monitor access rights.
  • Model Validation: Validate and back-test financial models to ensure accuracy, and reliability. Implement enhancements and improvements to modeling methodologies as needed (including scenario and sensitivity analysis, R&O etc…). 
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of financial analysis and reporting. Implement best practices and recommend automation solutions.

Qualifications/Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance or Strategic Finance role (e.g. M&A), and/or Consulting Firm. 
  • Previous experience (2 years+) in SaaS or Technology.
  • Exceptional skill level in Excel and ability to build complex financial models from scratch. 
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to roll-up your sleeves and understand the Data sources and limitations. Ability to interpret data, perform in depth analysis, and draw meaningful insights.

As a Staff Engineer for the Capacity and Performance Engineering (CPE) Team, you will be working on efforts to improve the scalability and efficiency of Cruise’s infrastructure. You will need to work cross-functionally with engineering and various teams everyday to drive efficiency initiatives and develop tooling to automate this. You will be responsible for collaborating with engineering for building scalable and efficient platforms, and optimizing our existing platforms. Your day will involve working across teams such as AI, Product, and Infrastructure to develop the structure for cost showback and self-service analysis, leading the CPE team for cloud efficiency discovery and execution, and working on strategic projects that will shape the future of Cruise. In particular, we’re looking for someone with familiarity with high performance compute clusters, scheduler logic, and resource contention tradeoff experience. We’re looking for an engineer that has a proven ability to make logic gate tradeoffs to represent efficiency targets without going too far and is comfortable investing the team in deep understanding to find novel improvements backed by data. 


 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Provide deepest visibility to what is going on for all products: Run capacity and performance experiments to determine scaling and utilization parameters for various service tiers.
  • Proactively identify gaps in infrastructure efficiency and workflow efficiencies, with being a key contributor in driving proposals to results 
  • Partner with engineering teams, Compute/Simulation platform in particular, to conduct capacity and performance experiments to resolve potential performance bottlenecks
  • Work closely with software engineers to reduce their consumption of cloud resources and improve their performance
  • Work with cloud service providers to proactively negotiate and retain necessary SKUs and capabilities required for efficient scale and capacity readiness
  • Work frequently with other teams to coordinate major changes to cross-system architectures, influencing upstream or downstream for the most efficient solution.
  • Present efficiency opportunities and project cost savings to Cruise executive team  
  • Design, develop and lead automation to help capacity plan for both near and long term 

 

What you must have:

    What you'll do
