About you:

To enable us on our growth trajectory, we’re searching for a Business Development Representative with a proven track record in B2B demand generation roles. This role offers someone the chance to continue their sales career and grow within an established company.

Day to day, you will:

  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound efforts like cold calling, cold email, and LinkedIn engagement
  • Identify key-decision makers, generate interest within organizations through discovery calls
  • Understand customer needs and requirements before handing opportunities to Account Executives.
  • Maintain and expand our CRM with prospects within your assigned territory and AE
  • Assist with performing effective online and in-person demos to prospect when required.
  • Attend in person events, demonstrations and industry associations as requested by the company

You’ll ideally bring with you:

Powerful outbound sales skills, including the ability to educate prospects

  • Organizational skills and ability to set priorities each day and week to work through
  • Ideally, 1 year experience in a sales / demand generation role
  • Proven inside/outside sales experience (B2B)
  • Ability to work towards company targets and key results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Familiar with Sales tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, Apollo/ZoomInfo, etc. a plus

What success looks like:

In the first month, you will participate in a 2 week onboarding program, which includes– becoming knowledgeable about our product, industry segments & customer profiles, navigating our lead generation tools, shadowing the sales teams, understanding customer profiles, and how to best overcome objections.

Our BDR team plays a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. By the second month, you will be comfortable communicating to our prospects, identifying key decision-makers, generating interest, and creating opportunities for our Account Executive team.

Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to be a key member of our growing Sales team. The Business Development Representatives drive impact at Recharge by identifying and qualifying a high number of quality leads and communicating Recharge’s value proposition to prospective merchants during the initial phase of the sales process. 

We are looking for Volume. Your responsibility will be to produce leads, book demos and prep a sale for close by prospecting, researching and qualifying prospective clients. We have clear paths forward to Sales or Partnerships and champion those who bring their best to the team every day.

*Please note: While Recharge is a remote-first company, our sales team is based out of two hubs (Toronto, Canada and Lehi, Utah), so we are looking for candidates to work in-office at our Toronto location on a full-time basis.

What you’ll do

  • Live by and champion our values: #accountability, #collaboration, #iteration, #details.
  • Help drive sales growth through new customer acquisition and surfacing of under-penetrated pipeline.
  • Identify and target emerging merchants; while conducting and observing discovery calls to learn more about what the merchant is looking to achieve.
  • Use a variety of channels including cold calling, emailing, video and social selling to connect and book meetings with prospective merchants.
  • Communicate Recharge’s value proposition and technical abilities to prospective merchants during the initial phase of the sales process. 
  • Transition engaged merchants into the hands of the Sales team based on an acceptance-oriented methodology.
  • Independently manage a pipeline with multiple prospects, utilizing Salesforce and Outreach.io to document progress and drive these accounts simultaneously.
  • Gain extensive experience working closely with our sales, marketing and partnership teams.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Recharge and create a fantastic first impression with our merchants.
  • Learn to sell effectively in a dynamic, innovative, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll bring

  • 0-2 years of inside technology sales experience with a history of success in a consultative sales environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are actively seeking a “Business Development Representative (BDR) ” with an entrepreneurial and result-focused mindset, to support the Business Development Team in its efforts to drive growth. More specifically, you will be responsible for:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will generate and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective customers, producing quality leads, booking meetings and creating sales opportunities for Phocas Account Executives.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Ability to adapt and maintain a high level of productivity and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Curiosity to stay current with Phocas software, system information, new features/enhancements and product offerings
  • 1+ year/s of new business development experience, ideally with software-based solutions and B2B environment
  • Proven sales abilities with track record of over-achieving targets , and experience working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Ability to listen and apply new learnings and the willingness to learn tools and workflows that will help generate leads

What you’ll do to grow fast and have fun:

  • Lead inbound & outbound prospecting efforts through various channels such as email, phone, social media and CRM (HubSpot)
  • Proactively engage prospective customers who meet our target profile
  • Articulate the Phocas business value proposition to decision makers, evaluating their use case, purchase time frames, pain/gain points and assess buying interest
  • Collaborate with relevant partners to generate quality leads from their customer base
  • Coordinate introductory conversations and sales demo/ presentations with Account Executives and where possible participate to inform, educate and help close deals

  • Create a fantastic first impression for Webflow’s new Enterprise customers who reach out to us to learn more about our products

About the opportunity

Northspyre is looking for a Business Development Associate to join our fast-growing, venture-backed start-up team. This is an opportunity to make a huge impact at a start-up disrupting the $2 trillion dollar real estate industry. 

As a Business Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our company by identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with potential clients. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to generate leads, create strategic outreach campaigns, and contribute to the overall business development strategy. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, results-oriented, and eager to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Identify and research potential clients in target markets, using various tools and techniques to build a robust pipeline of leads.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and refine messaging to improve lead conversion.
  • Develop and execute personalized outreach campaigns via email, phone, and social media to initiate contact with prospective clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to continuously refine our business development strategy.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential customers.
  • Manage and track leads through the sales pipeline using Hubspot, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.

We are looking for people who have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and comfortable in a quota-carrying environment (prior sales experience isn't necessary, but it is a bonus!).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with real estate developers and industry professionals.
  • Skilled in using tools like ZoomInfo, with additional expertise in 6Sense, Construct Connect, and HubSpot being a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple initiatives while consistently meeting or exceeding quota targets.
  • Adept at crafting customized outreach strategies for prospects that fall outside the usual parameters, showcasing initiative and a proactive approach.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Marketing and/or Business Development experience at a Proptech company. 
  • Experience utilizing Google Analytics, Hubspot, Campaign Manager, Facebook Ads and Google Ads.
