We’re looking for a Support Engineer to join our Support team to help provide comprehensive technical application support and analysis in a fast-paced SaaS environment. In the role, one must be able to work directly with customers in high-pressure situations; have strong analytic, organizational, time management, and communication skills. We’re looking for a team player that possesses the willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role is cross-functional interacting with Engineering, Operations and Professional Services teams.

What will you do?

  • Interact directly with customers to isolate, reproduce, troubleshoot and resolve data and product interface problems
  • Use problem-solving, critical-thinking and multi-tasking skills to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of product architecture, technical components and application functionality
  • Use troubleshooting experience to create and update our team Knowledge-base articles, Troubleshooting Guides, FAQ’s, and other related support collateral.
  • Ability to mentor and display leadership and ownership of issues

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience with SQL, TSql, PL/SQL or similar database programming language experience. Of particular importance, SQL Aggregate functions (COUNT,SUM,MIN,MAX,GROUP BY)
  • Familiarity with any ticketing system.
  • Experience working in a support team environment,  supporting a product/service or helping others with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience communicating at all levels of client organizations.
  • Ability to function and thrive in a team environment with an appreciation of aggressive goals.  
  • Intellectual curiosity, along with excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues and identify root causes.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or a related field

The Enterprise Account Executive will play a key role in driving Acquia’s business development and sales activities.

Quality Engineer

At Acquia, quality engineering drives the quality tool chain and process in an open and collaborative environment. To ensure that we have a repeatable process and systems to thoroughly test and uncover defects, quality engineering uses best of breed tools for automation and testing frameworks in conjunction with in-house tooling, infrastructure and services.  Quality engineers are embedded in each agile development team to facilitate and own the testing strategy, and test automation requirements for every iteration and release. The quality engineering team also regularly meets to review and improve overall testing processes, automation, innovations and standard methodologies. Each quality engineer works both independently and as part of a product group, where developers write tests and the quality engineering team supports the testing infrastructure and automation. In addition, they provide mentorship for best practices and develop testing systems for smoke testing, behavioral testing, stress testing, performance testing, as well as supporting quality metrics.  

The Quality Engineer is a strong voice for quality that actively pursues quality improvements, writing code, developing new infrastructure and tests to support our fast paced, highly diversified development organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Work together with product managers, agile product owners, architects, tech leads and engineers to ensure the quality of our products
  • Participate in technical discussions for products and test infrastructure
  • Implement Quality best practices, tools, and methodologies
  • Identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated test solutions
  • Constantly evaluate the test automation strategy and approach to identify areas of improvement (i.e. test automation frameworks, coding standards, etc.)
  • Participate with developers in writing prolific test case code using Ruby, PHP, Java, Go, etc
  • Build and maintain efficient test frameworks and pipelines for performance, stress, and integration tests
  • Work in an agile model as part of a team to develop fully automated test cases for functional, unit, and integration testing
  • Take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, implementation, automation, execution, maintenance and analysis

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of hands on experience working on QA automation including functional, system, integration and regression testing
  • Experience in developing test automation for Backend applications
  • Proficient with backend API automation, tools/framework development necessary for the same 
  • Strong hands on knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOPs concepts and strong in core Java skills
  • Strong proven understanding of various test types including client/server, white-box, black-box and positive/negative
  • Proven test design skills, test case writing, automation and analysis
  • 1-3 years programming experience in any of the web languages (go, php, ruby, java) or equivalent
  • Experience with shell to apply command line tools
  • Experience with continuous integration and build tools (i.e. Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Travis)
  • LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP) or Java & Spring boot stack experience

Job Description:

  • Be a Security Champion in an agile Security Engineering team owning and operating the services you build
  • Research, specify, and test cloud hosting architectures leveraging your web, database, and OS knowledge
  • Debug the toughest distributed systems production issues

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of related experience in Security Engineering 
  • Cloud security and compliance experience using AWS (e.g., Firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, DDOS prevention and PCI-DSS, HIPAA, FedRAMP, etc.)
  • Strong software development background using any general programming language
  • Understanding of Kubernetes
  • Passion for websites and website delivery architecture
  • Deep, working knowledge of LAMP stack--OS, web server, and database systems (Linux, Apache, and MySQL preferred)
  • Linux packages (e.g., Debian or RPM packages); RHEL and Ubuntu experience

The Senior Human Resources Business Partnerwill partner with employees and leaders at all levels in the organization, the primary area of responsibility is the EMEA region, as a part of our global HRBP Team.  The ideal candidate will bring a deep expertise in human resources, a consultative approach, be a relationship builder, a problem solver and a great teammate.  This role will develop global people programs aligned to business needs while cultivating high performing teams. 

Essential Functions:

  • Strategic Advisor: Works closely with leaders on problem solving and provides strategic guidance. Identifies trends, makes decisions and recommendations to positively impact results. Ensures decisions are aligned with Company and Department Strategy as well as the company core values. Our EMEA team has ~150+ employees across 18 countries.  
  • Employee Performance and Development:Works closely with people leaders and employees on performance management, coaching and counseling. Provides feedback to leadership in finding opportunities for greater impact. Facilitates regional Talent Review Program, succession planning and follow-up actions. Reinforces and advises the team around Performance Management Programs, OKR goal setting and Career Roadmaps.
  • Employee Experience & Engagement: Dedicated to providing an exceptional employee experience through developing and implementing innovative approaches and programs to continually strengthen employee engagement, build community and retention, with optimizing the remote employee experience in mind. Fosters a culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and is a driver of programs in support. 
  • Collaborative Team Member:Works in partnership and supports the Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Global Benefit initiatives, representing these functions as needed in order to collaborate with and develop the broader team. Cultivates a team environment and strong engagement for the entire People Team. 
  • Full employee lifecycle:Includes supporting hiring process with Talent Acquisition, facilitating pre-boarding, orientations, supports the department on-boarding roadmap and Company Onboarding Program(s) and new hire check-ins. Performance and engagement programs, offboarding process and exit interviewing. Summarizes employee feedback and trends as appropriate to our leaders.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong focus on operationalizing process and data integrity. Maintains compliance with national, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. Keeps abreast of changes to the law, best practices, and innovative approaches.

Required Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in Human Resources in Business Partner capacity.
  • Has built strategic partnerships cross-functionally in a global organization. Demonstrated ability to build trust, listen, probe and give feedback, as a trusted advisor to the business. Provides dynamic, positively influential leadership and expertise.

The Role:

Agile Six is looking for an Agile Product Owner (PO) for the Sitewide Facilities team working on VA.gov. This team manages a broad portfolio of products in the unauthenticated VA.gov experience, including some that are powered by a Drupal content management system (CMS) back-end. Products include: the VA.gov Find Locations tool; all functionality on VA.gov related to physical VA locations like VA Medical Centers, VA Clinics, and Vet Centers; and the data migrations, API integrations, and Drupal CMS functionality that power those products.

As a Senior Product Owner, you are passionate about eliciting, shaping, and communicating a digital product vision, and understand that great products are built collaboratively to fulfill the needs of both end users and client stakeholders. You are able to context switch rapidly, and manage roadmap and work in flight for multiple disparate projects during any given quarter. You are an intrinsically driven leader, an eloquent storyteller, a relationship builder, and know how to set, monitor, and measure progress towards product goals using Agile tools and methodologies. You take initiative to understand the evolving stakeholder landscape, and are flexible to adapt to the needs of your client and team. Responsibilities

  • Develop an expert understanding of business and user needs and champion these in the definition of the product
  • Define, explain, and iterate a product vision that is compelling to your users, team, and stakeholders, and develop a high-level product roadmap and other deliverables as necessary (objectives, KPIs, key results, etc.) to support fulfillment of the vision
  • Integrate and leverage UX research and design within a cross-functional team to continuously inform the product vision, roadmap, and backlog
  • Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog: write and prioritize themes, epics, features and stories; write clear, actionable acceptance criteria; and lead refinement sessions with team
  • Actively participate in sprint planning ceremonies, and be available to team members throughout each sprint to answer questions about the priority, intent and acceptance criteria pertaining to user stories
  • Establish a healthy, trust-based rapport and effective communication, prioritization, and negotiation with government product owners and other stakeholders
  • Actively and collaboratively manage risk related to product vision and features, changes in scope or direction, and expectations around delivery timelines
  • Ensure that product backlogs, roadmaps, and other guidance around product definition are informed by feedback loops around user needs (i.e. foundational user research, usability testing, etc.) as well as overall product strategy and vision
  • Support the practice of product ownership within the larger company as needed through activities such as:
    • Assisting in outreach, recruitment, and hiring efforts
    • Occasionally participating in or otherwise supporting business development efforts, including code or design challenges, writing or reviewing proposal responses, etc.
    • Participating in communities of practice
  • Collaborate with Drupal CMS Helpdesk to understand needs from community of 1000+ Editors using generating site content. Coordinate or directly participate in reproducing reported issues, prioritize asks against other planned work, and communicate about progress to both Helpdesk and related stakeholders.

We expect the responsibilities of this position to shift and grow organically over time, in response to considerations such as the unique strengths and interests of the selected candidate and other team members and an evolving understanding of the delivery environment.

Basic qualifications

  • 7+ years working in a Product Owner or related role with responsibilities listed above
  • Proven track record of launching products from conception to production, and managing clients and key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated technical competency to communicate a detailed roadmap
  • In-depth knowledge and application of Agile principles and practices
  • Has lived and worked in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years
