You will be granted direct access to pitch your gig proposals to any freelance projects of Clients aimed to bring new freelance works to the platform. 
You will oversee a lead work of Gig Expert(s), or undertake a lead work and team-up with our Freelancers on a freelance project.
You will get remuneration after Consulting and/or project management products were paid out (payment is not cancelled) by Client and Freelance Work Acceptance is confirmed by you and your team.

ABOUT REMUNERATION:
Please note that this is a freelance role without any fixed remuneration. Remuneration will be in the form of a high fee split at: 
- 80% of total consulting and/or project management cost will go for PLP Team (you, Gig Expert, Quoth group member, and/or freelance group member) for every successful consulting and/or project management paid out (payment is not cancelled) made by Client and Freelance Work Acceptance confirmed by PLP Team. 
- 14% of total consulting and/or project management cost will go for Freelance Business Development Partner, 5% of total consulting and/or project management cost will go for Freelance Group Fund as payment contributed by you and your team, and 1% of total consulting and/or project management cost will go for funding our incorporation, infrastructure, research, development, program, current cause, and staff to achieve our goals; Or Freelance Business Development Partner gets 0% fee cuts. By reason of, 6% of total consulting and/or project management cost will go for Referrer, 10% of total consulting and/or project management cost will go for Freelance Group Fund (5% as payment contributed by you or your team, plus 5% from Referrer), and 4% of total consulting and/or project management cost will go for funding our incorporation, infrastructure, research, development, program, current cause, and staff to achieve our goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will have to represent us in a professional and positive manner in all interactions with Clients and our Freelancers;
Will have to consult with Clients to understand their business development needs, including answering and following-up their questions;
Will have to assist and manage Clients from presenting and selling the value of our Products to proper payments;
Will have to assist and team-up with Freelance Recruiting Partners in managing Clients from presenting and selling the value of our project management products to proper payments. This includes coordinating and collaborating with them to recruit right Freelancers for Client's project;
Will bring new project management works to the platform by pitching project management product suggestions and/or recommendations to Clients aimed to offer a consistent, high-value workload to our Partners and Freelancers. That is, you will help our Partners and Freelancers in getting new freelance projects and their gigs to prosper. This includes meeting the business development needs of Clients.
Will have to estimate total project engagement costs and negotiate pay rates to potential Clients, including collaborating with us on freelance work planning;
 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

About the role 

We are on the look out of a Remote Ukrainian LQA - Game Tester for full-time, part-time, or freelance basis. As Localization QA Game Tester, you will work within our Localization Quality Assurance team and be the very first person to see the localized game in its entirety – translated text, images and the rest of the user interface collectively. You’ll get to experience the project in the way it will be consumed by the end users. You will work in a multilingual project team ensuring that the game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies and ultimately ensuring that the game is accurately localized into the target language. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with a global project team. 
  • Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors. 
  • Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines. 
  • Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions. 
  • Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery. 
  • Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters. 
  • Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation. 
  • Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects. 

Our Localization QA team performs language checks on a range of yet-to-be-released games for a variety of platforms including PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR and various mobile and tablet devices. As LQA Game Tester, you would be working on top gaming titles for some of the world's leading publishers. 

Requirements 

  • Fluency in Ukrainian and English.
  • Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for. 
  • Computer literacy – particularly with Excel. 
  • Robust Internet research skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.

About the role 

We are on the look out of a Remote Russian LQA - Game Tester for full-time, part-time, or freelance basis. As Localization QA Game Tester, you will work within our Localization Quality Assurance team and be the very first person to see the localized game in its entirety – translated text, images and the rest of the user interface collectively. You’ll get to experience the project in the way it will be consumed by the end users. You will work in a multilingual project team ensuring that the game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies and ultimately ensuring that the game is accurately localized into the target language. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with a global project team. 
  • Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors. 
  • Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines. 
  • Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions. 
  • Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery. 
  • Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters. 
  • Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation. 
  • Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects. 

Our Localization QA team performs language checks on a range of yet-to-be-released games for a variety of platforms including PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR and various mobile and tablet devices. As LQA Game Tester, you would be working on top gaming titles for some of the world's leading publishers. 

Requirements 

  • Fluency in Russian and English.
  • Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for. 
  • Computer literacy – particularly with Excel. 
  • Robust Internet research skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams. 
  • You must be able to provide evidence of your right to work in Portugal. If you are located outside Portugal, a freelance contract will be applied.

Ellevest's compensation framework is based on relevant data, benchmarking and research for comparable companies and on our internal pay equity policies. IXL Learning is hiring a Remote ELA Content Writer (6-12) (Freelance)

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking creative, motivated writers to join our content development team.

In this role, you will work closely with editors and curriculum designers to create eloquent and engaging language arts content for grades PK-12. We are especially interested in hiring writers who can create compelling middle and high school content for reading comprehension and writer's craft activities.

This is a remote, 1099 consulting role for three months with a possible extension.#LI-REMOTE

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING 

  • Researching informational topics of interest to a school-aged audience
  • Writing sentences, paragraphs, and longer passages for use in online activities
  • Crafting questions, answers, and explanations based on guidelines and samples 
  • Adhering to conventions in The Chicago Manual of Style and an in-house style guide
  • Accepting and implementing feedback

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in English, creative writing, or a related field
  • Exceptional writing skills, including a finely tuned sense of English grammar and usage
  • Strong critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to be efficient and organized while working on multiple projects
  • Previous professional writing experience (educational or YA content preferred) 
  • Previous experience working in education preferred
