THE ROLE

We have some of the richest educational data in the world, and we want to leverage that data to develop a clearer picture of who our users are, how they are using the site, and how we could better serve them on their educational journey. Your work will enable answering critical and meaningful questions like "how do students learn most effectively?" and "how can we improve our content and product?"

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and DevOps, with a focus on data engineering. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable systems and applications. 

What you’ll work on:

  • Design and manage data pipelines and workflows using SQL, BigQuery, Airflow, and DBT.
  • Develop and maintain data visualization and analytical tools using Streamlit.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure software using Python and Go (familiarity with  GraphQL a plus)
  • Implement and manage DevOps processes for Data Engineering tools
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes to build and deploy containerized applications.
  • Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code to manage and provision cloud resources.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 4+ years experience in a software engineer role with a focus on tool design, creation, and maintenance for infrastructure or data engineering
  • Strong collaborative development experience including PR reviews and documentation writing
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining data pipelines and data quality monitors in a workflow management tool for productionized solutions, with source control and code review.
  • Proficiency in computer science and software engineering fundamentals, including the ability to program in Python and/or Go.
  • Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Terraform.
  • Experience with BigQuery and data pipeline tools such as Airflow, & DBT would be a big plus as would familiarity with Streamlit for data visualization.

The target salary range for this position(LEC IC 1.5) is $165,500 - $201,250 USD / 206,875 - 251,562 CAD. The pay range for this position is a general guideline only. The salary offered will depend on internal pay equity and the candidate’s relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and job market data. Exceptional performers in this role who make an outsized contribution can make well in excess of this range.  Additional incentives are provided as part of the complete total rewards package in addition to comprehensive medical and other benefits.

Hims & Hers seeks an experienced, self-motivated, and results-driven Engineering Manager, Growth Engineering. The Workflows team is focused on building a HRIS automation product. The team is responsible for building a cohesive automation solution that tracks the entire lifecycle of an employee.

What You Will Do

  • You’ll be responsible for building software to help companies build cultures in which their employees thrive.
  • You’ll partner with other engineers to build and own products across a modern tech stack. (Our current stack includes: React, Relay Modern, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL. We rely on AWS to host our infrastructure. We use Temporal for complex event flow management along with AWS EventBus).
  • You’ll craft contributions to our engineering practices, identifying and evangelizing improvements to improve team output.
  • You’ll provide substantial mentorship to less experienced colleagues, helping to refine their technical craft and expand their knowledge.
  • You’ll independently lead the execution of complex projects, including those that require cross-functional collaboration with product managers and designers.
  • You will create high-quality Technical Design Documents and address review comments from relevant stakeholders

What You Will Bring to the Table

  • You are passionate about Software Development and have 5+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining production-level applications.
  • You are proficient  in TypeScript, React and GraphQL and passionate about learning and using any new technologies that are required at the job.
  • Prior experience with software Integrations is a plus, not a requirement.
  • You are efficient in SQL and know how to model data and write performant queries in a relational database like PostgreSQL.
  • You love to work on challenging projects.
  • You are able to seek  out the root cause when debugging software defects, and champion improvements that prevent future issues.
  • You’re always striving towards understanding the codebase inside and out.
  • You have the ability to understand the nuances of product requirements and translate them into code.
  • You’re clear and concise in explaining your thought process in both written and verbal format.

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $135,500 - $199,500. This position is also eligible for incentive stock options, subject to the terms of Lattice’s applicable plans

    Monzo is an appealing target for criminals who try to launder illegally gained funds through our accounts or fraudulently convince our customers to give them their money. In the Financial Crime collective we strive to protect Monzo, our customers, and indirectly the society from financial crime. We tackle all types of financial crime, including money laundering, tax evasion, and terrorist financing.

    We are looking for Web Engineers to help us build amazing internal tools that help our teams in protecting customers and fighting financial crime. We are building a new team focused on efficiency. This small team will focus on identifying and rapidly implementing the most impactful improvements. You will work closely with our domain experts and to build and optimise exceptional tools that enable our financial crime teams to efficiently investigate cases. You will be working with a modern technology stack which includes React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Storybook, Cypress, Playwright, and many more.

    This role requires you to deeply understand our processes and workflows, which you will then redesign for maximum efficiency. Our primary customer will be our Customer Operations (COps) team. You will have a direct impact on Monzo’s Profit & Loss through the improvements you implement. This will range from quick wins like form improvements, to leveraging large language models (LLMs). Additionally, as the most senior Web engineer in both the team and the collective, you will have the opportunity to develop and lead those around you.

    Every day you’ll be:

    • Working closely with the Product Manager and Operations and Risk Domain Experts.
    • Identifying and scoping opportunities for impactful projects.
    • Actively contributing to every stage in the product development lifecycle within your team, and owning the development of new features from start to finish.
    • Working closely with our backend engineers to design APIs to support new frontend features.

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Customer Success Engineer to join our team, supporting our latest acquisition of Longbow Security. As the Senior Customer Success Engineer you will play a critical role in building and sustaining customer relationships while driving the adoption and success of the Longbow platform advancing Veracode in the application security posture management space.

    The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical and business savvy bringing a consultative mindset and approach, an ability to work cross functionally, and strong presentation skills.     What you will be responsible for:

    • Discover and understand the technologies, solutions, constraints, and challenges for a cloud security, application security, and vulnerability management program
    • Match Veracode solutions to customer's technical, security, and business needs.
    • Assist and advise on the effective use of Veracode security products and their alignment with a customer's environment
    • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers on designated accounts through customer onboarding to ensure a successful customer launch
    • Demonstrate and integrate Veracode products across the entire software development toolchain
    • Present Veracode and Longbow’s vision, strategy and product roadmaps to executives and technical management.
    • Provide customer-oriented feedback to internal product development groups to guide the future direction of the Longbow and Veracode solutions.

    Desired Experience

    • Minimum five years’ experience in the information security or software development industry.
    • Customer facing experience with strong listening and business relationship skills
    • Ability to collaborate with and motivate groups towards a unified goal
    • Must be effective working independently and in a team setting
    • Public cloud and cloud security fundamentals (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, cloud infrastructure security, container security)
    • Experience working and integrating with security tool APIs for both GraphQL and REST
    • System integration, automation, and cloud experience (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
    • Hands on with cloud security solutions (e.g., Wiz, Orca, Palo Alto Prisma)
    • Scripting (Perl, Python, etc.), Java, .NET (C# and ASP, .Net) knowledge
    • Experience with architecting a secure SDLC in a modern development shop (DevOps, Agile, CI/CD).
    • Hands-on experience with application security solutions (Synopsis, Veracode, Checkmarx, Snyk, etc.)
    • Hands-on problem solver who is proactive and is able to self-manage a challenge through to resolution
    • Customer requirement gathering, prioritization and scoping experience
    • Enthusiastic, self-starter with a charismatic personality
    • Must be willing to travel 10-25%

    Additional experience that will help you be successful

    • Secure SDLC and DevOps mindset and familiarity with Agile Frameworks (SAFE, Lean SD, etc.)
    • Network security experience
