  • Concevoir et maintenir une architecture robuste et scalable : Veiller à ce que l’architecture soit solide, modulable et en adéquation avec les besoins de l’entreprise.
  • Développer de nouvelles fonctionnalités : Implémenter des fonctionnalités front-end innovantes et maintenables, tout en assurant une intégration fluide avec le back-end et les API.
  • Collaborer avec l’équipe marketing sur la stratégie SEO : Travailler sur l'optimisation du SEO avec les équipes marketing pour assurer un référencement naturel efficace et durable.
  • Participer à l’élaboration des spécifications techniques : Travailler en amont avec l’équipe technique pour définir les exigences et les priorités des projets de développement.
  • Prendre part aux décisions de priorisation : Collaborer étroitement avec l’équipe produit pour déterminer les priorités des projets. Ton rôle sera d’apporter une vision technique éclairée en expliquant l’éventail de solutions possibles pour résoudre un problème donné. Tu guideras l’équipe produit dans le choix des solutions en fonction des contraintes de temps, de complexité et de ressources, tout en tenant compte des objectifs globaux de l’entreprise. Cela inclut également l’évaluation des compromis entre rapidité d'exécution, qualité et impact sur l’utilisateur final.
  • Veille technologique et partage des bonnes pratiques : Suivre les dernières tendances du développement web, proposer des améliorations et encourager l’adoption de nouvelles technologies et pratiques au sein de l’équipe.
  • Mettre en place et superviser l’intégration continue : Développer et maintenir des pipelines d'intégration et de déploiement continus (CI/CD) pour améliorer l’efficacité et la qualité des livraisons.
  • Apporter un support aux utilisateurs et aux équipes internes : Être une ressource clé pour répondre aux besoins des utilisateurs finaux ou des équipes internes lors des phases de test ou après le lancement d'une fonctionnalité.

Qualifications

Tu es le candidat idéal si :

  • Expérience avérée : Tu possèdes au moins 4 ans d'expérience en développement front-end, avec une expertise avérée dans la gestion de projets complexes sur des produits web.
  • Maîtrise du JavaScript et React : Tu es un expert du JavaScript moderne (ES6+) et de ses frameworks, notamment React. Tu connais les bonnes pratiques et les techniques avancées du développement front-end.
  • Compétences en architecture front-end : Tu as une solide expérience dans la conception et l'implémentation d'architectures front-end scalables, robustes et performantes.

About This Role

Specific job responsibilities include:

The Role

As Tech Team Lead you will have the unique opportunity to recruit new team members and lead a new team in one of our Tribes. The product you will own is the cornerstone of our business. And we eat our own dogfood: the LanguageWire delivery team and a community of more than 7.000 linguistic experts rely on it to do their job, 24x7. You and your team will be responsible for lifting the product to the next level of scalability and functionality. 

You enjoy working with people, grooming new talents, or inspiring our senior developers to do even better. You are fluent in C# and take great pride in delivering sound and scalable solutions. The team will work with both backend and frontend features, utilizing microservices and cloud technology.

The team you’ll be a part of

You will join one of our most important tribes and lead one of the teams there. The Tribe currently consists of two teams with a total of 11 dedicated people. We need your help to find smart engineers to grow the new team to around 4-6 people. You will work closely with two existing teams working in a distributed and international setup, as well as the Director of tribe who will also be your direct leader.

The team develops and maintains, among other things, the customer and translator portal, the workflow orchestration engine, an internal API and much more. We moved the product to the cloud and want to move to API first and there’s a huge roadmap packed with great product ideas that will keep us busy for the years to come. Our team handles both the Frontend (written in JavaScript and Typescript) and several backend micro-services including the data persistence layer (created using .NET 5 and running on Kubernetes clusters in Azure).

You’ll report to our Director of engineering, and you’ll work closely with our Director of Technology and two other Team Leads within the Tribe.
