About the Role

Vidyard is looking for an Intermediate Software Developerto join our Developer Platform team. In this role, you'll be working closely with an awesome team of developers and a product manager, all under the guidance of an Engineering Manager. Your goal? To use your skills to simplify and enhance the day-to-day experience of our developers so that they can deliver on our mission. 

This is a remote role open to candidates located Canada.

About the Team

Our Developer Platform team is where innovation meets expertise in two dynamic pillars:

  • Infrastructure: This pillar is dedicated to building the foundational infrastructure for the microservices that drive our business. Developers in this stream are at the forefront of defining and implementing best-in-class scalability and availability. They ensure our services thrive in Kubernetes clusters, manage deployments through ArgoCD, and maintain a strong focus on observability (metrics, logging, distributed tracing).
  • Developer Experience: This pillar focuses on empowering and unblocking product teams with state-of-the-art developer tooling. This includes maintaining cloud development environments, implementing advanced CI/CD tooling (build, test, deploy), rolling out GenAI tools, creating golden paths, enhancing documentation, and running enablement sessions. Our goal is to streamline the developer journey through efficient processes and practices such as onboarding, code review, CI/CD, debugging, and observability.

By ensuring our infrastructure is robust and our developers are well-supported, our Developer Platform team plays a crucial role in enabling our business to thrive and innovate.

What You’ll Work On

As an Intermediate Developer focusing on Developer Experience, you will be instrumental in enhancing the productivity and efficiency of our product teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accelerating Coding: Introduce and build AI-powered tools to enhance the coding experience. Offer a seamless debugging experience within our cloud development environment (CDE - Playground).
  • Optimizing Code Review and CI/CD Processes: Make code review processes more efficient by integrating AI-powered tools. Improve CI/CD pipelines (build, test) using tools like GitHub Actions Runners and Trunk. Implement strategies to reduce flaky tests.
  • Enablement and Documentation: Create and run enablement sessions to empower developers. Improve and maintain comprehensive documentation to facilitate easier onboarding and efficient processes.
  • Developer Support Rotation: Participate in a rotation program to support developers with questions and issues related to internal tools, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Framework Application: Identify issues through quarterly surveys, developer interviews, and industry trends. Create opportunities to address the most significant pain points (toil), design and experiment with solutions, evaluate success using selected success metrics and guardrails, roll out successful solutions, and iterate as needed.

What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team

  • Technical Expertise:3+ years of experience in software development and a strong understanding of cloud development environments and CI/CD practices, with practical experience using tools like GitHub Actions and other CI integration tools (e.g., Merge Queue, code coverage, etc.).
  • AI Integration: Experience with or strong interest in integrating AI-based tools to enhance developer workflows.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address pain points in the developer workflow, implementing effective solutions.
  • Communication Champion: Strong written and verbal communication skills to create clear documentation and facilitate enablement sessions.
  • Feedback-Driven Approach: Eagerness to learn from developer feedback through surveys and interviews, and apply these insights to drive improvements.
  • Industry Awareness: Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in developer experience and tooling.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Ability to work collaboratively with product teams to understand their needs and ensure smooth, efficient development processes.

We are seeking a Full-Stack JavaScript tech lead who will help the business realise its objectives to become the most advanced provider of Structured Products globally.

A key component of their tech stack is the Sales and Clients Web Platform (aka ‘Agile’). This sophisticated application enables sales traders, brokers, and external clients to price and book live trades through a ReactJS web-based interface and suite of NodeJS and C# services that connect the back-end ecosystem of booking, execution, finance, and risk platforms.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with the Head of Derivatives Trading and their team - the product leaders for the app - and provide technical leadership for a diverse team of 10 developers and testers based in London and Ukraine. Responsibilities:

• Architecture and design of the technology created and maintained by the delivery team.
• Line manage the team, and optimise its structure to continuously deliver value to the business.

Overview

LivePerson Tenfold is a state-of-the-art, born-in-the-cloud SaaS offering. Our Cloud platform is a multi-tenanted solution hosted on GCP using a modern technology stack. Most of our cloud software is deployed as microservices written in Node.JS on top of a NoSQL DB stack (MongoDB, Firebase, ElasticSearch). Our telephony connector layer is a mixture of ASP/.Net and Java code.

The customer facing app is written in TypeScript using the modern Angular framework. It is deployed in several different contexts including as a Chrome extension, Electron desktop applications for both Windows and Mac, and embedded in a number of CRMs (including Salesforce) in an iFrame.

You will be working directly with the customer facing application. As a Software Developer you will build components of the LivePerson Tenfold product with a focus on stability and innovation. You will be adding new features, creating new APIs, and working to delight our customers.

You Will

  • Architect, Design and implement business software and underlying APIs
  • Work with Product Management to create delightful user experiences
  • Create platform-independent code that can be run on multi-browser, multi-OS environments
  • Play a critical role in all architecture, coding, testing, and deployment decisions.
  • Produce engineering specifications, delivery estimates, and implement solutions based on product requirements.
  • Provide technical documentation for the solutions that you implement
  • Collaborate with peers on specifications, code reviews, and testing.
  • Write unit and automated end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features.
  • Meet KPIs for engineering team and be responsible for them on a weekly basis
  • Communicating with customers and partners to be able to provide business value and engineering value to the problems at hand. 
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning sessions, grooming sessions, and retrospectives.

You Have

  • 3+ years experience writing code with TypeScript, Javascript, Node.js or equivalent frameworks.
  • Experience building applications using MongoDB.
  • Experience with data aggregation models for multiple data sources.
  • Experience building Enterprise class Multi-tenant SaaS application platform
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Nock.
  • Experience instrumenting code for gathering production performance metrics.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology. 
  • Preference to candidates with experience integrating telephony, CRM, or CTI applications.
  • Preference to candidates with MEAN stack experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Overview 

Electric’s Engineering team is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to help us take our software applications to the next level. This role will be part of a collaborative product team that will take ownership of a product domain to deliver features, maintain those features, and improve developer experience in an effort to add value for our customers. The team leverages agile best practices to deliver on the aforementioned goals.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the team, your responsibilities will be to help deliver features in our applications, maintain a high quality of code, collaborate with fellow engineers, and participate in cross-team engineering discussions to help drive best practices on the frontend.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern frontend technologies (see examples below) and know how to employ those technologies using lean development principles such as building with quality in mind, eliminating waste, respecting others, and delivering fast and often. The ideal candidate is a team player who works well with others in a collaborative environment. As a Senior Engineer, the candidate should serve as a role model and mentor to more junior engineers, both on their team and within the engineering organization.

    About the opportunity

    We're seeking a Frontend Engineer to help us build a simpler, more customer-centric home buying and selling experience in partnership with real estate agents.

    In this role you will

    About the Role

    Vidyard is looking for an Intermediate Software Developerto join our Growth Labs team on a 12 month contract!Reporting to the Software Development Team Lead, you will work on a cross-functional collaborative team to improve our top-of-funnel product growth, build acquisition and retention loops, perform optimization experiments, and ultimately provide a more engaging and personalized experience for our customers. As an experienced software developer, you’ll provide technical leadership and guidance as you iterate and experiment with improvements across our products and website. This is a role for someone who loves making an impact—your work will have a direct influence on important and visible business metrics.

    This is a 12 month remote contract (with benefits) open to candidates located within Canada.

    About the Team

    Our Growth Labs team consists of a small group of developers working with Design, Product, and Marketing counterparts to create more engaging experiences for our customers. We work in an agile, metrics-focused way and perform high-impact experiments that tangibly improve our customers’ experience with our products. We’re passionate about A/B testing and validating hypotheses, as well as maintaining high standards of software quality and performance. We collaborate with teams across all parts of the product in order to drive customer engagement and retention.

    As an Intermediate Software Developer on the Growth Labs team, You Can Expect to:

    • Work as part of a small cross-functional team with Product, Design, and Marketing counterparts to identify and deliver on opportunities to improve customer engagement metrics.
    • Deliver experiments and A/B tests on Vidyard’s website, sign-up flows, and across the product.
    • Iterate quickly while still maintaining high standards of code quality.
    • Work within and across teams to scope and build larger cross-cutting technical projects that boost our ability to deliver value to our customers.
    • Lead your teammates to write, test, and deploy scalable, performant code.
    • Work across the stack, shipping both front-end (Vue.js, React.js) and back-end (Node.js, Ruby on Rails) code and monitoring its performance.
    • Leverage design systems and best practices to ensure consistency.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior team members.
    • Help shape our longer-term technical roadmap and inform our product growth plans.
    • Level up our culture, our processes, and our best practices.

    What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team:

    • A solid background in software engineering—you have had 4+ years of experience shipping user-facing, scalable web products.
    • The ability to work across the software stack as a generalist, while still bringing in-depth experience to either front-end or back-end development.
    • A history of success delivering on user growth initiatives in an agile, iterative environment.
    • Past experience working at a SaaS Product Led Growth company.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills—you strive for clarity and understanding, and you can navigate discussions around risks and tradeoffs.
    • The ability to drive improvements to our standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
    • Lean thinking and an experimental, metrics-driven mindset.
    • A high tolerance for ambiguity and a recognition that action is sometimes the best path to discovery.
    • An interest in customer experience and business metrics.
    • Experience mentoring others on your team.
