The Opportunity

Responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with our key business to business clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that drive mutual growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the US defense industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.

What you will be doing

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients in the defense sector that provide products and services under existing and future contracting vehicles.
• You will co-ordinate queries & future business opportunities for a group of designated customers.
• Understand clients' strategic objectives, operational needs, and challenges to offer tailored solutions.
• Conduct regular account reviews and strategic planning sessions to assess account health and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute account-specific sales strategies.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and explore potential for upselling and cross-selling.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategy and positioning.
• Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.

What you will need to succeed

• Proven Customer Service experience skills and customer relationship management in the Defense & Aerospace sector
• 3-5 years of Customer Service experience and >3 years defense and aerospace experience
• Military experience preferred but not essential.
• An understanding of FARs/DFARs, OTAs, etc. preferred
• Commercial awareness and numeracy to analyze reports and understand margins
• Good attention to detail; maintaining our high standards for delivery, quality & accuracy

The core responsibility of the Key Account Manager is to achieve sales targets through the utilisation of KAM behaviours and ways of working. Implement sales, marketing and market access strategies to maintain and expand sales across the Norgine portfolio by working cross-functionally with market access, marketing, medical, sales managers and other KAMs. Develop, implement and Maintain a local Key Account Plan (KAP) for every account and product within the territory. Operate within the Norgine Business code and all relevant codes of practice.

• Ensure the Norgine portfolio is successfully listed on the relevant formularies and protocols at the hospital and APC level. This requires the ability to successfully influence clinical managers and budget holders to secure agreement for product funding and optimum positioning within the local health economy

• Enhance patient care and help achieve Norgine’s business objectives by planning and delivering cohesive clinical-commercial discussions across the account, resulting in local agreements between payers and prescribers.

KEY INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS:

• Hospital Business manager, local team, MSLs and Market Access

• UK & Ireland National Field Sales Manager

• Other members of the UK RCU Team

• Other relevant departments particularly Medical, Marketing and Market Access Teams

• Experience: previous credible level of hospital sales experience with a good working knowledge of Local primary/secondary care approval processes and protocol development. Demonstrable Key Account Management ability

• Special Training or competencies: ABPI qualification, valid UK driving licence, customer service focus, self-management skills, good communication and networking skills, good verbal, written and presentation skills, ability to quickly assimilate new data, understanding of marketing principles

• Sound Pharma and NHS knowledge

• IT competent: in the use of email, Microsoft Office programs, SharePoint, as well as CRM systems

• Dynamic, commercially aware, action-focused, accountable and confident of the value that Pharma brings to Patients.

Minimum Requirements:

  • S. in life science or business
  • Proven successful sales experience with a technical product line
  • Minimum of 3-5 years senior level sales experience in single cell sequencing, NGS, or spatial genomics.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others
  • Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Willingness to accept heavy travel.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and SFDC database

We are looking for a Key Account Manager for our Portland area. In this role, you will be responsible for providing superior support to grow, nurture, and maintain iRhythm’s highest-volume accounts.   • Train customers on the iRhythm service tools (ZioSuite, MyZio, etc.).
  • Act in a timely manner to resolve customer issues.
  • Provide continuous evaluation of processes and customer workflow. Suggest new methods to create efficiencies through improved processes and additional technology. Leverage iRhythm regional expertise as necessary.
  • Manage, onboard, and support assigned accounts.
  • Attend and support key customer meetings and sales Quarterly Business Review sessions.

  • Proactive approach, ability to work independently and as part of a team, customer-oriented and results-driven.

About This Role

We are looking for a Key Account Manager for our Boise/Salt Lake area. In this role, you will be responsible for providing superior support to grow, nurture, and maintain iRhythm’s highest-volume accounts. In this role, you will cultivate and sustain long-term customer relationships, while meeting and exceeding KPIs.  Proactively delivering value services to support customers and advocating internally for the solutions required to drive business outcomes are key to what you will do as a KAM. You will collaborate with iRhythm’s Marketing, Customer Care, and Clinical Operations teams. As a Key Account Manager, you will be the customers' primary escalation and intervention point of contact. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Strategically partner with the iRhythm Sales organization to ensure the success of customers and patients within our large account segment.
  • Drive customer and account performance by monitoring and measuring activities including; registration volume, device inventory management, customer and patient satisfaction, clinical effectiveness, and workflow efficiency.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for iRhythm internal teams regarding assigned customers. Liaison with key stakeholders in billing, clinical operations, legal, finance, inventory, and customer care to ensure efficient account performance.
  • Train customers on the iRhythm service tools (ZioSuite, MyZio, etc.).
  • Act in a timely manner to resolve customer issues.
  • Provide continuous evaluation of processes and customer workflow. Suggest new methods to create efficiencies through improved processes and additional technology. Leverage iRhythm regional expertise as necessary.
  • Manage, onboard, and support assigned accounts.
  • Attend and support key customer meetings and sales Quarterly Business Review sessions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with accounts and the internal sales organization.
  • Lead or participate in strategic initiatives within assigned accounts.
  • Conduct in-person account management initiatives as needed.
  • Monitor and communicate key performance trends across assigned accounts. Work to develop action plans to improve account performance.

What We Need To See

  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • At least 3 years in an account management or customer success role supporting large or complex accounts.
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, and Sales Account Manager in a healthcare, medical device, or biotechnology environment.
  • Self-directed and proactive.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with tools commonly used in a business environment including; CRM customer relationship management (Salesforce), reporting, and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptionally collaborative, highly responsive, flexible, and adaptive.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20%.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and present information succinctly and actionable.
  • Proven understanding of how to apply key performance measurements to drive commercial development.
