Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, including leadership roles, and will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing testing activities. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure the stability and quality of our products. This role requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills. You will also mentor less experienced team members and help build effective cooperation with other development teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute integration, contract testing
  • Report test results to key stakeholders and development teams
  • Work with the developers to understand the critical paths and ensure product stability
  • Build better cooperation with other Development Teams
  • Be the interface of the team between key stakeholders
  • Mentor less experienced team members
  • Visit Customer office in Warsaw up to 6 times a year for workshops and planning sessions

Qualifications

Must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience as software tester
  • Highly motivated team player with strong communication skills
  • Proven experience of creating testware documents
  • Working experience in planning, analysis, execution,  evaluation
  • Working experience and knowledge of common test design techniques
  • Understanding of mobile and web-based applications
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of defect management tools like: Jira, YouTrack etc.
  • Knowledge of test management tools like: TestRail, Xray etc.
  • Experience of API testing tools: Postman, Swagger etc.
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Experience in Agile Testing in projects
  • Fluent English – written and spoken
  • Nice to have:

  • Experience in automation test of mobile and web applications
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver framework
  • Experience in testing hardware, embedded software, compatibility testing
  • Knowledge and experience in card payments/card management subject matter
  • ISTQB Foundation Level and/or ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst certification

The role

Agile Six is looking for React Native Software Engineers with a strong foundation in React Native, JavaScript, and Typescript for anticipated roles on our cross-functional agile teams. Responsibilities

  • Contribute as part of a cross functional Agile team to develop and maintain mobile applications in an open source ecosystem
  • Design and build mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android, leveraging software development principles and best practices
  • Build and maintain software with an eye towards modular, extensible, and scalable design
  • Leverage emerging technologies and practices around DevOps, cloud services, AI, automation tools, etc. where appropriate in the course of daily work to improve efficiency and/or quality
  • Demonstrate and model informal leadership qualities, including taking initiative, taking on challenging tasks, supporting other team mates, and in general creating a positive environment for successful delivery
  • Collaborate with other teammates through code reviews, pair coding, mentorship, training, knowledge sharing, etc.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Write automated unit tests and integration tests, and assist in manual testing as needed
  • As an agile team member, support the team and Product Owner to ensure that work is accurately described and appropriately prioritized, including providing input into user story acceptance criteria and sizing
  • Support the practice of engineering within the larger company as needed through activities such as:
    • Assisting in outreach, recruitment, and hiring efforts
    • Occasionally participating in or otherwise supporting business development efforts, including code or design challenges, writing or reviewing proposal responses, etc.
    • Participating in communities of practice
  • We expect the responsibilities of this position to shift and grow organically over time, in response to considerations such as the unique strengths and interests of the selected candidate and other team members and an evolving understanding of the delivery environment.

Basic qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • 2+ year of production experience with React Native on iOS and Android
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining and enhancing applications with modern JavaScript frameworks, a component-based design system, and REST APIs
  • Experience with DevOps processes and tools
  • Experience working on an Agile team and demonstrating an Agile mindset
  • Experience using automated tests to validate software and build behavior, as well as writing testable code
  • Understanding of common design patterns, software development principles, front-end engineering patterns, and how to apply them
  • Experience working in many different areas of the software stack and solving a variety of engineering problems
  • Ability to work independently on high complexity tasks, and to collaborate as it makes sense for the problem and the work
  • Experience in an open-source, collaborative development environment
  • Has lived and worked in the United States for 3 out of the last 5 years

        THE POSITION

        We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Director to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our global IT infrastructure, implementing solutions, and providing day-to-day support to meet the needs of a geographically dispersed team of over 60 staff across more than 12 countries. Responsibilities encompass a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This role reports directly to the CFO and works collaboratively across departments.

        RESPONSIBILITIES

        IT Services

        • Manage Information technology onboarding and offboarding of staff, ensuring seamless integration into the IT ecosystem,
        • Provide including but not limited to providing:
          • day-to-day staff support and troubleshooting.
          • Staff training in software and hardware solutions.
          • End-user support for laptops, mobile devices and equipment in the office.

        Vendor Management and Collaboration

        • Collaborate with third-party vendors and consultants to identify and evaluate potential solutions, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon service levels.
        • Recommend vendors based on organizational needs, budget constraints, and security best practices (in consultation with the CFO).
        • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Development, Finance) to implement and maintain new technologies and systems that align with departmental goals.
        • Identify, deploy, and support improved remote collaboration solutions and hybrid meetings.

        System Management and Operations

        • In collaboration with CFO, oversee the management and optimization of the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, network, and cloud services.
        • Analyze existing software and platforms to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency gains, security vulnerabilities, and alignment with current business needs.
        • Evaluate current IT services for performance, scalability, security, and user experience (including infrastructure, vendor management, security measures, and help desk support).
        • Make recommendations to the CFO for new software and platforms based on organizational needs, budget constraints, and security best practices.
        • Develop and implement data migration plans for transitioning to new platforms from legacy systems, to ensure data integrity and to minimize downtime, disruption, and burden for staff.
        • Provide training and support to users during and after system migrations.

        Maintenance & Security

        • Lead and execute IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met (in collaboration with the CFO).
        • Generate reports on IT infrastructure and support metrics (application downtime, security incidents, repeated end-user requests, opportunities for training and infrastructure improvements, etc.) for the CFO, management, and stakeholders.
        • Develop, implement, and enforce robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard organizational data and systems, including but not limited to:
        • Backup systems for critical data, including resilient disaster recovery.
        • Multi-factor authentication, password management, hardware tokens, and passkeys.
        • Timely software updates.
        • VPN policy.
        • Comprehensive incident response plan
        • Work with the CFO to develop and deploy criteria for preserving documents as exceptions to Data Hygiene Policies and develop/revise relevant Policies as needed.
        • Manage and administer various solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Nextcloud) for optimal performance and security.
        • Explore potential for open-source alternatives for productivity tools (e.g. Mattermost).
          Maintain detailed and up-to-date IT documentation, including asset tracker, system configurations, procedures, security protocols, and user guides for all tools.
        • Conduct ongoing education and periodic testing against spear phishing and other cyberattacks against staff.
        • Establish and enforce clear policies for data protection, access control, and acceptable use of IT resources.
        • Stay abreast of the latest trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices in information security, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
        • Educate staff on best practices to secure their personal devices and accounts.

        Reporting & Analysis

        • Analyze organizational and departmental objectives and needs and recommend technology solutions to boost productivity, efficiency, and security.
        • Continually analyze processes, technologies, and vendors to find areas for improvement and cost savings, translating findings into actionable recommendations for the CFO, including:
        • Upgrades to existing hardware or software to improve performance and scalability.
        • Implementation of new technologies to automate tasks and streamline workflows.
        • Consolidation of vendors to reduce costs and improve manageability.
        • Outsourcing of specific IT functions to free up internal resources.

        QUALIFICATIONS

        The successful candidate will have the following characteristics and qualifications:

        • A minimum of 10 years of work experience in Information Technology, preferably including cybersecurity, is required.
        • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN administration, cybersecurity best practices, and service contracts.
        • Previous experience in:
          • International non-profit environment preferred.
          • Creating IT infrastructure policies and building and implementing new systems.
          • Evaluating security and usability of privacy-focused apps and platforms.
          • Data Hygiene policy development, planning and implementation (including automated systems in e.g. Google Suite, Slack, Zoom).
          • Public Key Cryptography -- training and key management e.g. for PGP/GPG.
          • Tor infrastructure for security/privacy goals (e.g. Tor Browser, TAILS, OnionShare).
          • Deploying and managing secure desktop environments (including: QubesOS; TAILS; MacOS Lockdown mode, Advanced Data Encryption and Contact Key Verification).
          • Managing and optimizing for usability enhanced security options for mobile devices (e.g. GrapheneOS, iOS Lockdown Mode).
          • Tech security for partners and organizations in hostile network and political environments.
        • Experience with evaluating and using private/secure Machine Learning/AI/LLM.
        • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
        • Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs and concerns of individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and orientations, and commitment to RAN’s values.
        • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
        • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

        • Ability and willingness to work outside of typical work hours (i.e. early mornings and/or late evenings) to connect with global staff.

        LOCATION

        This position is remote, however, occasional travel to RAN’s headquarters in San Francisco and other in person events is required. Because this is a highly collaborative position that works with every member of our staff, candidates should expect to be available with regard to time zones including all US time zones, as well as time zones in Europe, Australia, and SE Asia.

        COMPENSATION

        This is a full-time position with an anticipated starting salary range of $105,000-$120,000 commensurate with experience.

        Benefits include 100% RAN-paid health, dental and vision insurance for the staff person and their partner/family, four weeks PTO (increases to five weeks after two years) as well as a paid winter break, and a retirement plan with a 3% employer match. Additionally, after every five years of service, staff are eligible for a 12-week fully paid sabbatical.

        ✨The core mission of the Senior Analytics Engineer:

        HTB’s Analytics team is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer, who will enable data analysts and various stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

        As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will be able to get creative & build stuff from scratch. You will participate in end-to-end projects, from gathering the business requirements by having deep business conversations, to creating the final solution. Main focus for the Analytics Engineer will be to understanding the business needs and then develop and maintain data pipelines to serve the organization.

        Our analytics team, consisting of 4 people, collaborates with multiple departments within HTB, like Product, Finance, Revenue Operations , Sales & more. Our day-to-day tasks span from product feature analysis to systematic revenue reporting that enables a data driven mindset for all HTBers.

        • Develop, monitor, maintain, optimise and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data is accurate and timely
        • Build and optimise data models (using python, SQL ,dbt or similar tools) to support business reporting and analysis needs.
        • Implement data quality checks and validation routines to maintain high standards of data integrity.
        • Document data models, data transformations, and business logic for transparency and knowledge sharing.
        • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, product teams and other business stakeholders to define data requirements, business logic, and reporting needs.
        • Collaborate with other departments to assist in implementing automations for routine tasks and data operations to streamline workflows.
        • Assist in designing and developing new reports, dashboards, and visualisations based on business needs.
        • Evaluate and recommend new tools or process improvements to optimise data workflows and enhance productivity.
        • Provide support and guidance to other team members on data-related matters
        • Help build a data-driven culture across HTB by identifying areas where data could add value.

        • Proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data transformation, and performance optimization (5+ years).
        • Strong Experience in data modelling and data pipelines.
        • Strong skills in Python for data manipulation, automation, and building scalable data solutions.
        • Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.

        Zipdev is seeking a versatile Video Designer to work with one of our clients for a 3-month project and bridge the gap between their Video and Display teams. In this role, the Video Designer will play a pivotal role in supporting both teams, utilizing a well-rounded skill set that encompasses the skills of video editing, graphic design, and possibly some layout design. This role will actively contribute to the creation of engaging content, spanning across Video, and Social ads. The Video Designer will also partner with internal account managers and our Performance team to create digital design assets to be seen by end-users across social media, Youtube, and Amazon advertisements.

        What You’ll Do:

        • Create, revise, and assemble a wide variety of digital assets for social, mobile, and video ads using the Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, etc.
        • Learn and understand the specific requirements of automotive OEM advertising and ensure that all work meets departmental standards while also conforming to OEM compliance guidelines.
        • Utilize dynamic video tools and work with importing data to various video templates to render out large batches of videos.
        • Organizing and keeping track of various large batches of videos in the creation, rendering, or approval process.
        • Utilize dynamic design tools and work with importing data to various design templates to create large batches of designs in various sizes.
        • Help build new design templates to quickly replicate creative assets across multiple client groups and use existing templates to update or create new monthly video, or social ads.
        • Help create or set up existing video or design templates into dynamic processes that produce creatives at scale.
        • Take direction and requests from clients and internal teams to create new automotive video, or social ads.
        • Proactively communicate with internal teams to ensure that video, or social project updates, general questions, or follow-ups are happening as needed.
        • Excellent eye for detail combined with a creative mind for developing catchy, intuitive video, display, or social materials.
        • Extensive experience in digital and video asset creation using Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) either directly for a brand or with an agency.
        • Strong knowledge of ad layout principles and aesthetic design concepts as well as current online media trends and technology.
        • Keyframe animation knowledge including ease in/ease out and elements in motion is a major plus.
        • Utilizing and creating After Effects scripts to create more versatile and efficient templates is a major plus.
        • Experience in audio editing such as knowing how to trim, edit, adjust levels, and fade in and out is a major plus.
        • The ability to write basic ad copy or scripts for videos is a plus.

        Responsibilities:   

        Finding Candidates:

        • Lead a detailed job scope meeting with the hiring leader to determine position specifications, providing relevant market data and recommendations on possible approaches to the search or candidate requirements.
        • Review of candidates who have applied via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
        • Evaluate candidate qualifications against position requirements and determine who to move forward in the recruitment process.
        • Develop and manage recruitment marketing plans or sourcing plans to determine the most appropriate candidate sources that align to the search requirements.
        • Source candidates via resume databases, search engine and networking sites using Boolean search language.
        • Solicit and pursue referrals from business networks and/or internal referrals.

        Engaging Candidates:

        • Use an appropriate mix of media to connect with talent communities (phone, email, social media, etc.).

        • Prepare candidates for interviews, coaching them on logistical information, interview schedule, appropriate attire and overall expectations.
        • Ensure candidates are provided with timely updates concerning the status of their applications and interviews.

        Assessing Candidates:

        • Draft and utilize phone interview templates appropriate to the job description.
        • Use independent judgement to compare candidate phone interview notes and skills assessments with position requirements to determine if the candidate is a match for the role or a potential match for other open positions.
        • Issue skills testing as needed and evaluate results (if process dictates).
        • Review background and reference information (if process dictates).

        Influencing the Hire:

        • Keep candidates engaged throughout process, ensuring consistent communication on the status of the search.
        • Partner with hiring leader to determine offer details, using market data and compensation guidelines to support recommendations.
        • Articulate a job offer to candidate and drive for candidate acceptance, anticipating and negotiating counter-offers as appropriate.

        Service Excellence:

        • Strict adherence to all regulations (OFCCP and all other compliance standards set forth).

        Qualifications

        Education:

        • Has supported hiring for engineers (chemical, mechanical and biotechnology)
