Meet the team:

The TPM (Technical Product Management) team’s mission is to accelerate the delivery of Torc’s product goals, by leveraging our expertise in people, product, and process management. Specifically, theVirtual Driver TPM team partners with Engineering, Product, Systems, Safety and others, to develop the core Autonomy software stack, as well as internal tools and processes to accelerate product development. We apply our leadership, product, and project management skills to bring people together across the company to accomplish Torc’s mission. 

What you will do: 

  • As a TPM within the Virtual Driver product area, you will partner closely with our Perception/Recognition Sr. Engineering Manager to define a vision, strategy and roadmap for that subsystem.
  • Use your technical and project management expertise to identify and mitigate risks and unblock project execution by proactively managing cross-functional dependencies.
  • Work closely with other TPMs, Product, and Engineering Managers to decompose PRDs into technical specifications.
  • Work with Systems Engineering and Release Management to define clear requirements and test/release the Perception/Recognition software subsystem.
  • Drive the development of solutions by clearly articulating the problem space and empowering engineering to design and implement innovative solutions.
  • Constantly get feedback from your internal customers to (re)prioritize your roadmap and work closely with Engineering Managers to decompose the work into meaningful epics.
  • Be the voice of your internal customers and represent their needs, wants, and pain-points across the company. 
  • Work with your team/cross-functional departments to optimize processes to accelerate Torc’s go-to-market strategy. 

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Demonstrates competences and technical proficiencies typically acquired through:
    • BS+ 6+ years of experience OR MS+ 3+ years of experience
  • We are looking for a TPM with the experience in one of the following fields:   
    • Sensor data algorithms from LiDAR, RADAR, and cameras to detect, classify, segment, and predict obstacles in the vehicle's surrounding environment
    • High level understanding of Bayes probability theory.
    • Understanding of Kalman filters, sensor fusion and dynamic state estimation. 
    • Skilled in graph theory and search algorithms.
    • Familiarity with working in multiple coordinate frames. 
    • Experience with vehicle perception sensors including LiDAR, RADAR, IR, and cameras including development of sensor drivers and calibration and sensor troubleshooting. 
  • Strong experience in project management; practical familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and ability to apply them where best suited. 
  • Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges and risks; ability to work closely with engineers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust communication based on audience.

Your role will take the lead in developing an outside-in definition of "the what" for end to end customer experience for facing capabilities and entitlements of the QAD SaaS offers.  You will be the subject matter expert responsible for understanding “what” (availability service level agreement (SLA), infrastructure capacity, resiliency, elasticity, and support levels) cloud ERP competitors entitle in  their SaaS solutions (what comprises standard offer, premium offer, and optional services).   Your ability to collaborate and prioritize feature roadmaps with your peers will be crucial to success.

DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Technical product manager/owner charged with  facilitating  the enablement and maintenance of QAD products for a SaaS delivery model.
  • Gather market and competitor SaaS offer entitlement requirements  and define QAD SaaS delivery requirements from customers (internal or end user customers). Collaborate with Architects, Engineers and Analysts to define customer requirements.
  • Conduct analysis for project resources required to profitably develop and launch new software products into the QAD public cloud SaaS environments, as well as  enhancements to current products, using established procedures.
  • Develop business case analysis for SaaS requirements including operating efficiency improvements to positively impact QAD SaaS delivery profitability. Responsible for project risk analysis and management.
  • Report high level progress of projects and facilitate activities that lead to the successful launch of products.
  • Remain abreast of current technical progress to ensure the company's products remain marketable and competitive.

Qualifications

  • Education:  Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science; advanced degree desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years software business experience including software application development with public cloud provider knowledge (preferably aws).
  • Computer skills:  Good knowledge of commercial software applications. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Other knowledge or skills: Strong understanding of software requirements analysis and specification. Knowledge of software product development procedures. Strong financial acumen for business planning and business case analysis.  Good organizational and decision-making skills; excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be a team player and self-starter. Able to influence others and build strong working relationships.  Experience with aws is desirable.

SALARY INFO ????

The Senior Product Manager role spans a wide breadth of experience at Superhuman. Our compensation band reflects the potentially broad range of candidates and experience levels that we are open to hiring for this role. 

Our starting salaries for this role range from $160,000 - $180,000+. The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and company stock options. 

We are open to candidates in the US, Canada, or Latin America. We take a locally informed approach to non-US-based compensation and will be able to share ranges based on your country of residence.

What we're looking for

About The Job

  • Manage the roadmap and execution for our ads data platform and data pipelines for a diverse set of use cases.

  • Lead product planning, product & customer discovery, the product development process, effort estimation, and collaboration with teams across the organization (i.e. Data Engineering and Commercial Teams).

Compensation, Rewards & Benefits:

  • Responsible for the Foundation’s web ecosystem with a broad understanding of internal business needs and external audiences. Anticipates and delivers features and services that empowers and enables our audiences to participate. 
  • Holistically builds solutions that can meet the needs of multiple teams across the organization – takes into consideration the operational needs of various teams and audiences. 
  • Develops qualitative and quantitative data insights from customer research, data analysis and business analysis to help drive ideation and new solutions.

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure the technical feasibility of designs, adherence to best practices, and the implementation of cutting-edge web technologies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Web Platforms Team and other departments, gathering requirements, providing updates, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

 

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Product Manager, Project Manager, or similar role within web development or digital product management.

Handshake is hiring a Principal Product Manage reporting to the Senior Director, Product on our Employer team. Your role

You’ll own the lifecycle end-to-end for your product area, including:

  • Leadership. You’ll represent your squad and product area to executives, and translate company-wide strategies to your squad and into your roadmap. You’ll inspire your team on the product vision.
  • Product strategy. You’ll ensure that your squads have a cohesive and differentiated product strategy that ladders up into the Employer team and company strategy.
  • Product development: You’ll lead a high performing cross-functional squad, including engineering and design partners, from research and roadmap planning to delivery 
  • Launch and adoption: You’ll partner closely on go-to-market and implementation, working with marketing, sales and customer success. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on. It’s never someone else’s problem. You’ll run beta programs and pilots to maximize learning and minimize code investment, getting close to the customer and the details through the process. 
  • Cross-Handshake partnership: You’ll work with stakeholders across Handshake’s largest team (the broader Employer team) and on other sides of the Handshake marketplace (EDUs and Student) to innovate quickly but deliberately
  • Goals, metrics and tracking: You’ll create a robust and clear thread of data from strategy through development through in-market iteration.

Your experience

  • Strong foundation in roadmap development and releasing products for complex, multifaceted marketplace businesses or SaaS platforms.
  • 7+ years partnering with engineering teams to ship code. Ideally in a many-stakeholder environment with dependencies and collaboration. 
  • Strong systems and analytical thinker.Can connect the dots, spot challenges and edge cases, integrate multiple considerations.
  • Extensive experience presenting both internally and externally including working with customers, users, and internal cross-functional partners and executives.
  • Working knowledge of data-driven applications including mapping, schemas, permissions that inform user interactions and downstream analytics.
  • User focused. You dive headfirst into understanding the needs of employers and build products grounded in data and research.

  • Revenue-generating entrepreneurial experience

Compensation range
