Your impact

Handshake is hiring a Senior Product Manager to help us deliver a world class consumer experience on iOS and Android. More than half of college students in the US have a profile on Handshake, but they’re still spending the majority of their time using our web app to search for jobs. In order to fully realize our mission and goals, and expand the use cases that students are choosing Handshake for, we know that we need to meet them where they spend most of their time - on their phones. In this role you will own the overall craft and quality of our mobile apps, and you will work with PMs from across the company to make sure that each of their products is contributing positively to the mobile experience.

Your role

  • Product Strategy. You’ll ensure that your squad have a cohesive and differentiated product strategy that ladders up into the Content & Community team and company strategy.
  • Leadership. You’ll represent your squad and product area to executives, and translate company-wide strategies to your squad and into your roadmap. You’ll inspire your team on the product vision.
  • Goal Setting. You’ll hold your squads accountable to clear goals that ensure they are tracking effectively towards their strategy.
  • Planning and Execution. You’ll lead your team and stakeholders in prioritizing and collaborating on the roadmap while ensuring we have appropriate alignment with appropriate stakeholders. You will also exercise influence on adjacent product areas and organization-wide strategy.
  • Collaboration. You’ll work closely with other key leaders in the Content & Community team (i.e. design, marketing, engineering, data) as well as leaders in other lines of businesses (E.g. Career Events, Paid Employer offerings) to ensure cohesive strategy and execution.

Your experience

  • Customer focused. You understand the needs of your customer better than anyone else and prioritize them everywhere, grounding your approach in data and research.
  • Marketplace Fluent. You think holistically across the different user types and their respective incentives in a marketplace to create “matched”, end-to-end, successful products.
  • Strong systems and analytical thinker.Can connect the dots, spot challenges and edge cases, integrate multiple considerations.
  • Experience launching and managing a consumer social productwith 1M+ active users
  • Expert at using data for tactical and strategic decisioning, goal setting, and iterating quickly.

Bonus areas of expertise

  • PM experience leading the development and launch of net new, “zero to one” consumer products
  • Experience managing a consumer product with significant scale (i.e. 10MM+ users)

Compensation range

  • $165,000-190,000

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

About the Role:

We are seeking a versatile and inquisitive Technical Product Manager with experience in near real-time platform development, data governance, data warehouse design, or data platform migration to bring a data product development mindset to some of our more transformative data initiatives. The specific focus area for this individual will be tailored to the skillset of the person chosen to fill this role. 

The ideal candidate will have strong product management skills and deep knowledge of data tooling, data engineering, and critical aspects of data product specifications. Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Own the development of a key data product or transformation of a data resource that fundamentally changes our capabilities as a Data Team, for example:
    • Transform our data warehouse into a consistent, efficient, documented, and trusted resource that is self-maintaining and can support self-serve and GenAI-powered tools with minimal custom knowledge
    • Make it possible to perform complex data processing on a platform outside of our main app with millisecond latency

  • Identify critical issues and risks in our data organization, establish a vision of our future state, communicate a strategy to achieve this vision, and collaborate with the Data Team and cross-functional partners to incorporate these into roadmaps.

A visionary Lead Product Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the strategic management and operational oversight of our diverse platform, including homegrown tools and data integrations with external tools and our Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

As the head of our product management function, you will ensure the seamless experience and operational excellence for our internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for our technology roadmap, with a focus that ranges from revenue and clinical productivity to communicating Vesta’s value to all of our clients. This role offers the unique opportunity to influence the direction of our tech platform and make a significant impact on patient care outcomes.

The ideal teammate would be able to:

  • Operate vertically at all levels of the organization, from day-to-day roadmap management all the way up to collaboration with the executive leadership team
  • Spearhead the creation and execution of a robust product strategy that aligns with our mission to provide superior virtual healthcare services
  • Collaborate with IT, clinical teams, operations, and external partners to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently, communicated clearly, and align with organizational goals
  • Manage and enhance our product planning and discovery procedures, leveraging prior experience to improve our efficiency over time
  • Oversee the integration, maintenance, and security of data flows into and out of Vesta’s internal system, ensuring data quality and compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Work closely with the Vesta engineering team to both plan and implement projects big and small
  • Effectively communicate new features and improvements to Vesta’s ecosystem, ensuring seamless uptake by internal and external data consumers
  • Ensure that all products comply with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in healthcare data privacy and security

Would you describe yourself as someone who has:

  • 5-7 years of experience in product management (required), within the healthcare industry (preferred)
  • A proven track record in managing internal products and developing related strategies
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Worked with JIRA (or a related project management tool) under an Agile methodology

Bonus points (but not required) if you describe yourself as someone who has:

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and data compliance standards (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data types, including EMR, claims, remote patient monitoring, and social determinants of health data
  • Hands-on experience with Product Design

As a Principal Product Manager for AI, you will be pivotal in defining and leading the AI product strategy, vision, and own part of and collaborate on the execution at Webflow, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching goals.
