The Implementation Project Manager will be a critical member of the Customer Success team, serving as the lead on implementation projects for BetterUp’s new and existing customer launches. This person will directly contribute to BetterUp’s mission by ensuring all implementation projects launch with velocity and quickly reach a critical mass of user activations and engagement. Success in this role involves not only launching successful projects but delighting customers with a seamless experience where BetterUp products are delivered in a way that leads to desired business outcomes. Beyond the classic project manager skill-set of collaboration and organization, the ability to empower our customers to become true program and platform owners will be a key skill to succeed in this role. 

As an Implementation Project Manager, you will need to be able to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment, and have a track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to motivate and influence teams outside of your direct purview. Communication skills (written and verbal) to ensure all internal and external stakeholders are consistently updated and held accountable for deliverables, and clearly communicate potential project issues and risks, will be key to success in this role. This role will report to the Manager of Implementation Management. 

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as project lead for initial customer launches and ongoing implementation management. 
  • Guide customers to success by consulting on best practices and making recommendations specific to their business context and challenges. 
  • Lead multiple projects by prioritizing and managing conflicts of schedules and resources.
  • Collaborate with both external customer stakeholders as well as internal cross-functional teams. 
  • Be a functional product expert in the BetterUp platform. 
  • Manage project plans by providing progress updates and other necessary documentation to external and internal stakeholders
  • Identify, manage, report, and escalate on project risks.
  • Work with customers to set appropriate project expectations, address customer goals, determine target dates, manage customer tasks, and provide regular project updates.
  • Enable customers with the tools and understanding they need of the BetterUp platform to successfully implement and manage their programs. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve and scale implementation operations.

  • Experience in the HCM SaaS space or Talent disciplines is highly valued, though not required.

About the Job

OffSec is looking for a self-driven, highly motivated and organized Project Manager/Scrum Master for our Project Management Team. The role will likely be split evenly between two areas of responsibility.

Scrum Master: In this area, the person will be responsible for managing the sprints and associated tasks for up to two software development teams, facilitating all meetings/Scrum ceremonies, mentoring and motivating the teams to improve their processes and eliminate impediments.   • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills.
  • Experience working with global teams in varying time zones and remote locations.

About this team and role:

Mozilla is on the lookout for an experienced HR programs and projects leader.  We're seeking someone with an understanding of HR COEs, stellar project management skills, and a knack for delivering successful outcomes even in the face of complexity. This individual will lead and run multiple programs and projects, bringing innovation and inclusivity to our workplace. What you’ll do:

Program and Project Leadership:Take the reins in planning, driving, and delivering multiple HR programs and initiatives simultaneously, guiding them from inception to completion. Craft detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, keeping a watchful eye on progress, identifying risks, and implementing strategies to ensure smooth sailing.

Strategic Partnership:Align HR programs and projects with our key focus areas. Collaborate closely with our Sr. Director of People Programs to translate business priorities into actionable HR initiatives that drive organizational success. Apply the art of the edit to deliver right sized programs.

Engagement and Collaboration:Cultivate strong relationships with key partners across departments, understanding their needs and expectations. Team up with People business partners, departmental leaders, and external vendors to ensure seamless alignment and execution of program objectives.

Change Management:Lead change management efforts associated with HR initiatives, to facilitate friction free transitions and adoption of new or updated processes.

Continuous Enhancement:Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve HR program, tools, and systems. Solicit feedback from partners, conduct post-project reviews, and integrate lessons learned into future endeavors.

Experience:You bring 8+ years of HR program and project management experience, with a focus on large-scale initiatives and organizational change.

HR Savvy:You possess a strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and standard methodologies, with experience in using technologies for project and program management.

As our Implementations Project Manager, you will manage multiple medium-sized projects or 1-3 highly complex and large-sized projects. You will have overall accountability for each assigned project and be responsible for project conception through completion, including scope, time, and budget, following our Project Management and Process Improvement methodology. You’ll be expected to document status, agreements and learnings from all meetings and presentations, and lead overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project work efforts.

  • In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing multiple medium-sized projects or 1-3 highly complex large-sized projects.
  • You are to oversee overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project work efforts.
  • You’ll establish and implement management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet expectations.
  • You get to define the scope, develop plans, manage milestones, develop, and carry out appropriate communication plans with stakeholders; you also develop relationships with cross functional partners and align project timelines to ensure they are completed meeting stakeholder needs.
  • Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, direct and monitor work on a daily basis, identify resources needed, perform quality reviews, and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately.
  • Keep track of key milestones and adjust plans and/or resources to meet customer needs.
  • Schedule and monitor project deliverables.
  • Coordinate communication with all areas that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the project.
  • Manage and update project plan using Microsoft Project tool and keep team informed of status and deliverables.
  • Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly progress reports to management, as needed.
  • Provide oversight and leadership in executing projects from planning to completion to provide results to the business​.

  • Provide education, training and presentation of project updates, new processes, and tools for users.

The bold requirements…

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree Engineering, Business or Economics (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant experience may be considered.)
  • 3+ years of experience in project management.
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, driving performance, and executing on deliverables while leveraging tools and techniques.
  • Experience in leveraging excellent communication to achieve commitment from stakeholders, good organizational skills for projects and problem-solving experience when issues arise.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
