What You'll Do

Who You Are

Requirements

The base salary hiring range for this position is $108,900 to $189,700. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

Acquire new teachers - 50% of time

  • Develop and test hypotheses about the right channels, strategies, or product improvements to reach educators in the U.S. at scale. 
  • Know the competitive landscape and market trends to drive new messaging, channels, and innovative ideas.
  • Identify search traffic growth opportunities for content and landing pages. Conduct keyword research and optimize content for search engines.
  • Create and publish high-quality, engaging, and relevant content and landing pages that address the needs of teachers. Develop marketing campaigns to acquire new users.

Engage existing teachers - 50% of time

  • Build a lifecycle marketing plan that will drive teacher engagement and mitigate churn. 
  • Conceive and execute lifecycle email marketing campaigns end-to-end. Utilize data and A/B test results to improve campaign performance.
  • Execute and monitor triggered programs; including campaign building, QA, reporting, and then iterating as needed. 
  • Develop deep understanding of the teacher user journey in order to identify personalized and relevant communication that engages customers; translate insights into effective campaign briefs.
  • Identify customer pain points, ideate solutions to improve user experience, and generate ongoing user-driven insights to inform lifecycle plans and influence product roadmap.
  • Build programs that will drive feedback and engagement from our core brand advocates -- insights that will steer the ship of new product development.

This is a Full-Time (FT, 40 Hours a week) remote position to perform duties for Risk Adjustment Coding and related Audit initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review of medical records as needed (MRR, OR1, any backlog) and assist platform clients as needed with backlog, larger chart page counts
  • Work population of clinical pends, with goal to clear within 72 hours
  • Updating and maintaining training course material for medical record abstraction and data entry (HEDIS, RISK, IVA)
  • Reviewing training test scores and sending feedback if necessary
  • Assigning and overreading disciplinary charts- (this is a chart move back) all projects
  • Reviewing reports daily for QA scores during the season(s) (abstractors, coders, HPs)
  • Maintaining an accuracy score of 95% on all work submitted (all projects)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in managing a wide range of projects.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Remote mentoring/ coaching (for all projects) in a group or 1:1 session with staff and leadership

  • Assist in training and successful adoption of Natural Language Processing/” Bot” -assisted coding reviews and relating tools/reporting
  • Reviewing reports for workload assignments, looking at inventory by project to make sure sufficient headcount are assigned per workload (all projects) multi time zone coverage/ shift coverage- evening/ weekends/holidays
  • Managing and addressing questions and clarifications that coders submit to a designated online communication forum and “Q&A” email mailbox while reviewing charts
  • Works actively to monitor and maintain minimum 95% accuracy in all coding projects by providing coaching/feedback to coders, as well as researching literature and attending professional seminars, workshops and conference as required by AAPC and/or AHIMA to maintain professional certification(s).
  • Stay up to date with Risk/IVA protocols (coding clinics, coding guidelines)
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Clinical Management team regarding coding workload, turnaround time expectations and deliverables
  • Additional duties as necessary to meet the obligations to our clients

Qualification Requirements:

  • Current Coding Certification (CPC, CPC-P, CPC-H, CPC-I, CRC, CCS) through AAPC and/or AHIMA.
  • Minimum of 5 years coding experience with specific knowledge of Medicare and Commercial Risk Adjustment such as Hierarchical Condition category (HCC)
  • Additional experience in facility (OPPS/IPPS) coding experience is preferred
  • Additional experience in Health Plan Risk Adjustment Data Validation Audit (RADV) experience is preferred

THE ROLE

The Customer Support and Content Testing Specialist is a new role at Khan Academy Kids and will provide exceptional support to our users while ensuring the quality and accuracy of our educational content. You will be the first point of contact for users, assisting them with their inquiries and troubleshooting issues. Additionally, you will work closely with our content and product teams to test and validate educational materials, ensuring they meet our high standards prior to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support for Parents, Teachers, and Districts (50%):

  • Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries through Zendesk and the app stores providing prompt and accurate assistance regarding product features, technical issues, and account management. This involves diagnosing issues by replicating problems users are having and coordinating with our small product team when required. You will be the owner of customer support and will manage all the resources we have developed to resolve tickets. Our customers include parents, teachers (preK - 2nd grade), and school district administrators. 
  • Help Center Maintenance:Customers can access online resources to help them resolve an issue without needing to write to us. As part of your role, you will maintain and update customer support documentation, including FAQs, user guides, and troubleshooting articles. You will also write articles highlighting new releases of content and features.
  • Analysis and reporting:Analyze and synthesize trends from customer support tickets to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities, and provide actionable insights to product teams for feature enhancements and bug resolution.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with users, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

Content Testing and Quality Assurance (30%):

    Our client specializes in optimizing supply chain processes. In this role, you'll focus on maintaining and supporting legacy .NET systems to ensure their continued operation. You'll be part of a Finnish unicorn company known for its strong, collaborative team culture. The development team uses Scrum/Kanban methodologies, working in 2-week sprints to enhance and sustain existing systems.
