About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) on our Health Systems Partnerships team, your primary goal will be to drive growth by building strong relationships with enterprise health systems and increasing referrals to SonderMind. You will play a key role in expanding our impact, channeling your passion for mental healthcare into generating excitement among prospective health system leads.

You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, where you take ownership of your work and consistently exceed your monthly quota through proactive outreach and strategic prospecting.

 

Essential Functions

  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound channels (phone, email, social media, etc.).
  • Assess potential opportunities and coordinate meetings between qualified leads and Account Executives.
  • Diligently manage and track leads through Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Account Executives to ensure alignment on outreach strategies and account focus.
  • Stay adaptable and flexible in response to market dynamics and shifting priorities

 

What does success look like?

  • Effectively communicate the value of partnering with SonderMind to decision-makers at all levels within healthcare systems.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) targets.
  • Maintain a high daily activity level in prospecting to support monthly SQL goals

 

Who You Are 

  • 2-3 years of experience in inside sales, with proven success in cold outreach and prospecting.
  • Comfortable building and maintaining a large volume of prospective relationships.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Possess a positive, professional attitude and a growth mindset, always seeking to learn and improve.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
  • Familiarity with lead generation tools (Sales Navigator preferred).
  • Experience working in a high-growth environment is a plus.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a bonus but not required.

The anticipated base salary rate for this role will be $50,00-$68,000. This position will also be eligible to participate in the company's uncapped commission plan.

First 90 Days

  • Successfully complete on-boarding and additional training.

  • Learn how to use Wavetronix’ products to solve difficult traffic problems involving detection (both at intersections and on highways) and the use of traffic information derived from detection.
  • Attend customer meetings with other Regional Sales Representatives.

Within 1 Year

  • Prepare product overviews and learn demonstration skills.
  • Attend trade shows and professional meetings.
  • Establish and develop relationships of trust with customers throughout the region, learn and understand those customers’ business and traffic problems, and recommend specific Wavetronix products and applications that will solve those problems.
  • Successfully assimilate with their team in accomplishing goals.
  • As a key member of the team, generate repeat loyal sales that meet or exceed annual targets. This includes providing product and technical information in a timely manner; preparing and providing technical, pricing, and delivery information; negotiating agreements within the guidelines for profitability; and timely responding to customer concerns and warranty claims.

      • Execution – Identify product conversion opportunities, engage in/coordinate product trials, and negotiate commercial terms as necessary. 

      Administrative

      • Reporting – Communicate as required within the business all necessary information from financial results to strategic intent within the assigned territory.
      • SalesForce.com (SFDC) – Utilize the system for all areas of documentation required within the region.  Some examples but not limited to:
        • Funnel/Pipeline Management: Foster all leads and opportunities through SFDC to meet all funnel goals, overdrive when possible and ensure that all funnel opportunities are kept current.
        • Contract Management: Execute all contractual process requirements and document within SFDC to ensure compliance with all approval requirements.
        • Special Pricing Agreements (SPA): Enter in all required SPAs in a timely fashion to ensure proper evaluation and approval of all potential SPAs. 
        • Customer Backed Innovation (CBI): Document all opened CBI opportunities and provide information as required from product management and R&D to help drive new product development opportunities.   
        • Sales Campaigns: Enter in all data required for sales campaigns as required by the management team or campaign leaders. 
        • Other: Any additional requests, reports, or details required by the sales management team. 
      • Customer Back Innovation (CBI): Make calls, direct questions as appropriate with customers, enter the required number of opportunities and ensure that any potential CBI opportunity is evaluated properly within the ITWPB business. 
      • Coordinate and communicate as necessary on open orders, shipping, accounts receivable, etc., to ensure complete account management always.
      • Attend business meetings, trade shows or other required industry/business events as required. 
      • Execute any ad-hoc or newly introduced projects, plans, campaigns or initiatives the commercial management team deems necessary to implement.

      Qualifications

      The job requires you to attend formal training as well as ongoing self-education about our products, audiovisual and communications industries, and media distribution technology in general. This challenge will be made easier by our world-class technical team.

      Remuneration

      The successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary, car allowance plus uncapped commission. 

       

       

       

      Qualifications

      The successful candidate must have: 

      • Bachelor degree or a TAFE qualification in engineering, AV, IT or a similar field;
      • Excellent communication skills;
      • Proposal writing and general document/office skills;
      • Understanding of computer software concepts, computer networking and audio visual equipment;
      • Computer and IT infrastructure skills sufficient to navigate business applications, understand our products and to setup product demonstrations;
      • Understanding of common business / financial terms;
      • Valid drivers licence;
      • Legal right to live and work in Australia.

      We are looking for a full-time sales representative to help grow revenue by expanding existing accounts and identifying new accounts. 

      This is a first-in position that will collaborate with the existing marketing functions at the company.       • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop accounts to identify decision-makers and build a sales pipeline you then close.

      • Work closely with internal stakeholders to define sales strategies, messaging, sales enablement materials, and ideas to drive stronger growth each quarter.
      • Continuously improve through feedback.
      • Create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs
      • Create monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
      • Prepare ad-hoc reports for management
