Optimile offers a white label charge point operator (CPO) and mobility service provider (MSP) platform for electric vehicles and charging infrastructure to professional customers worldwide. Optimile is based in Ghent, Belgium. We operate in six countries across +550K charging points, of which +50K with our own label. Optimile's shareholders are BNP Paribas Fortis and AG Insurance.

Our platform creates a connection between different mobility services and users, and is responsible for managing various charging points for electric vehicles. Through the linked app, transport information and budgeting is easily accessible to the users. To support our fast growth, we are looking for a remote backend/ full stack developer to strengthen our development team.

Your Role?

  • You will work on our new, ecologically responsible mode of networked mobility, building and improving the backbone of our platform.
  • You'll link and integrate services in the back office system. (Python and Django)
  • You'll be contributing to the further development of our charge point management system for electrical vehicles and the integration of various mobility platforms.
  • You'll set up roaming connections with other charging station operators.
  • You'll set up interoperability with charging stations of other manufacturers.
  • You'll offer technical support in the backend system for problems with the charging stations.
  • Participate in the team process, using Agile Scrum methodologies to adapt and continuously improve.
  • You are a backend or full stack developer living and working in the EU.
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree, or have equal knowledge and skill by means of experience.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You are interested in developing and expanding backend systems.
  • You are not afraid of a challenge and to learn new technologies.
  • You have plenty experience working with Python and Django.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/ Typescript is a plus.

Required Skills

  • At least 6 years of total IT experience performing complex application development projects on the Microsoft stack working closely with cross-functional Team Members in Agile Development environment.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on development experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics platform, the entity model, security model, and Web services.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Power Platform suite (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agent, Power Pages) and Dataverse

What you’ll be working on: 

The Analytics Engineering team is responsible for building downstream data models from backend services with the desire to make our Data Warehouse a genuine competitive advantage for Monzo. We want a discipline capable of building an amazing Data Warehouse to support decision making, Business Intelligence, key financial reconciliation processes and best in class analytics and Data Science. 

You’ll enable our data driven approach, and:

  • Support the building of robust data models downstream of backend services (mostly in BigQuery) that support internal reporting, machine learning as well as financial and regulatory use cases.
  • Focus on optimisation of our Data Warehouse, spotting opportunities to reduce complexity and cost.
  • Help define and manage best practices for our Data Warehouse. This may include payload design of source data, logical data modelling, implementation, metadata and testing standards.
  • Set standards and ways of working with data across Monzo, working collaboratively with others to make it happen.
  • Take established best practices and standards defined by the team, applying them within other areas of the business.

The Role:

About the role:

 

We are seeking an IT Product Manager, GTM/Partner Systems to lead a variety of strategic systems initiatives within Cloudflare. This means that while the role will primarily be a partner to the GTM/Partner teams, it would also have to partner with other functions, like People/Payroll, Finance, Security, and Legal to ensure the overall GTM/Partner process operates effectively and cohesively.  The Product Manager will proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units. The candidate will partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria.  



Responsibilities:

  • Operates as the main point of contact and partner to both the business (specifically GTM/Partners) and the IT Enterprise Applications (delivery) team.
  • Partners with the business to help gather and document business requirements, objectives, and business outcomes and end-users needs to connect people, process and systems.
  • Leads the vision and strategy for product scrum team and __ with product owners to help develop vision and roadmap.
  • Drives and heavily influences the overall GTM/Partner IT roadmap ensuring the focus is on business performance and scalability while limiting IT risk. 
  • Provides knowledge transfers and vision to technical teams and technical program managers (TPMs) ensuring clean and clear requirements are understood by those responsible for project management of implementation through go-live.
  • Maintains routine communication with business stakeholders and the IT delivery leads ensuring constant alignment on system roadmap placement and timelines.
  • Track the technology market discovering and staying attuned to newly released GTM/Partner applications and/or new product capabilities that align with existing technology in Cloudflare’s techstack.
  • Leads and nurtures platform vendor relationships including influencing and understanding vendors’ upcoming roadmap deliverables and sharing with the business to match with the overall business vision and goals.
  • Partners with the Procurement team and helps lead the vendor selection process for onboarding new technology.  This includes vendor research, evaluation scoring, participating on demos, and presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Adheres to and instills the IT Planning and Governance structure including running monthly GTM steering committee meetings, meeting with functional leaders on a routine basis, and providing routine alignment between the GTM/Partner business and IT teams.
  • Leads weekly roadmap meetings with delivery leads to collaborate on business priorities and roadmap placement and works with the appropriate teams to manage risks and capacity related issues. 

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • BA/BS in Business Administration or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience with GTM/Partner system experience including complex knowledge and deep understanding of sales operations - specifically partner sales.  
  • Experience with GTM/Partners systems such as Salesforce Experience Cloud (PRM), Zift (campaign management), and other sales/partner technologies are required. 
  • Business knowledge of GTM/Partner sales functions and cycles.

We are seeking a Full-Stack JavaScript tech lead who will help the business realise its objectives to become the most advanced provider of Structured Products globally.

A key component of their tech stack is the Sales and Clients Web Platform (aka ‘Agile’). This sophisticated application enables sales traders, brokers, and external clients to price and book live trades through a ReactJS web-based interface and suite of NodeJS and C# services that connect the back-end ecosystem of booking, execution, finance, and risk platforms.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with the Head of Derivatives Trading and their team - the product leaders for the app - and provide technical leadership for a diverse team of 10 developers and testers based in London and Ukraine. We are looking for candidates who are not only passionate about best practices, good software design principles, and a DevOps mindset, but also thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Architecture and design of the technology created and maintained by the delivery team.
• Line manage the team, and optimise its structure to continuously deliver value to the business.
• Collaborate with the Head of Derivatives Trading on the direction of the application.
• Define roadmap and strategy with Head of Development and other development leads.
• Oversee projects to ensure they are run efficiently and delivered on time and on budget.
• Liaise with business users and BA/QAs; define business requirements and provide updates.
