Our clients purchase website packages hosted inside of our CRM. The website builder is very simple 80% template based. You will help build our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.

You should be able to write clean code - but not necessary - and ensure your programs run properly.

We also expect you to be passionate about building software and perform well working in a team, along with developers, engineers and web designers.

Most websites will be completed in under 2 weeks and we have approximately 3-4 orders per month.

Web Developer responsibilities are:

  • Produce well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

  • Build website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices

  • Utilize data from various back-end services and databases

  • Collect and review specifications and requirements based on technical needs

  • Prepare and maintain software documentation

  • Maintain, expand, and scale our site as assigned

  • Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

  • Work together with web designers to match visual design intent

Web Developer requirements are:

  • 2+ years' experience of working on a Web Developer or Web Programmer (http://link...) position

  • Significant experience with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails

  • Good experience with relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development

  • Excellent knowledge of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices

Pay Transparency:

Responsibilities

  • Serve as  the subject matter expert on business and technical domains.
  • Lead the planning, execution and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams, including owning medium to large features or infrastructure projects from technical design through completion
  • Work with partners, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problems.
  • Lead and mentor engineers and engineering teams to improve technology, apply best practices and set overall team direction.

  • Guide the development of Service-Level Objectives (SLOs) for systems they and their team are responsible for.

  • 5+ years of experience setting and enforcing the standard for writing stable, correct, and maintainable code

ABOUT THE TEAM ????

Team Luna is Rocket Money’s growth engineering team. From the moment someone first hears about Rocket Money, through their first few days of using the platform, our code makes sure that a user’s first interactions are seamless, valuable, and delightful. We work closely with product, marketing, and data teams on tools and integrations that help us understand our users and drive favorable business outcomes like increased retention, engagement, and ROAS (return on ad spend).

Some of the things we regularly tackle include:

  • Coding out experiences across web and mobile through a uniquely iterative, data-driven development process.
  • Owning the systems that quickly and reliably bring data into the hands of automated systems, ML models, and decision-makers.
  • Helping other dev teams understand and leverage our marketing and analytics stacks.
  • Integrating a wide range of products to surface insights about user analytics, attribution, engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Leading investments into the the tooling and developer experience of Rocket Money’s technical platform.

ABOUT  YOU????

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit, and are excited to use your technical skills to positively impact business outcomes alongside user privacy and experiences.
  • You have experience working with some combination of Node/TypeScript, React (or similar framework), GraphQL, and Postgres (or similar relational database).
  • You enjoy working within cross-functional groups spanning marketing, data, and finance.
  • Nice-to-have: you have experience with growth/marketing engineering, working with tools like MMPs (eg Singular), analytics eventing and data engineering (eg Segment, GTM/GA, Fivetran), BI tools (eg Amplitude, Looker), and/or CRMs (eg Braze).
  • You write clean, reliable code across a variety of platforms.

Additional information: Salary range of $150,000 - $185,000/year + bonus + benefits. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
