Job Description

The Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer is a key role in our growing Salesforce practice. They have an excellent technical understanding of both Salesforce languages and frameworks and key technical aspects of Salesforce integrations. They can take business requirements and can, working with a team or alone, deliver full solutions to the business problems those requirements address. They will have great experience migrating data between systems and integrating systems. The developer will lead technical requirements sessions, architect and document high quality technical solutions, and build and test those solutions, and oversee the release of those solutions into production.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the platform
  • Lead technical design sessions and architecting/documenting technical solutions that are aligned with the client’s business objectives
  • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a salesforce.com implementation
  • Develop custom solution and interfaces
  • Manage technical scope and client expectations
  • Provide hands-on expert level assistance to developers for technical issues

  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership
  • Conduct code reviews for on-going projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and design patterns are being used which are appropriate for the project

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification
  • Commerce Cloud and/or StoreFront Reference Architecture experience required.
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems
  • 2 Years of Salesforce/Force.com platform experience
  • 4 Years relevant technical development experience.
  • Extensive Apex VF Controllers, Apex Triggers development experience
  • Must have a strong background in design/development of large internet or client server systems or complete software product lifecycle exposure
  • Good knowledge of object oriented programming, database designing, and the SDLC
  • Extensive previous experience in implementing technologies like: VB, COM, COM+, MSMQ, VB.NT, C#, ASP, ASP.NET, XML, XSL, Web services and SOAP, SQL server, Oracle

The mission of our Data Team is to create a trusted data ecosystem that fuels innovation. This Technical Program Manager role would add a critical skill set in data product development, enabling our team to build more proactive data solutions to drive our business and create great customer experiences. 

About the Role:

As a Principal Technical Program Manager in the Data organization, you will lead high-impact, cross-functional programs that drive the strategic vision of Gusto’s Data initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with key business and technical stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver programs that optimize data systems and governance, advance Gusto analytics maturation and data product capabilities, and expedite the ability for Gusto leadership to make data-informed decisions. You will not only lead programs but also help shape data strategy, ready the organization for technical change, and ensure alignment across multiple cross-functional teams.

As a critical partner to senior leadership, you will leverage both your technical expertise and program management acumen to influence decisions that support the data needs of the entire organization. You will work cross-functionally with data practitioners, product managers, and business leaders across the organization to ensure data programs are executed with precision and clarity. Your ability to manage complexity, balance technical depth with business outcomes, and foster cross-team collaboration will set you apart as a leader in this role.

By joining the Data Leadership team, you will play a key role in the overall data strategy at Gusto, leading efforts that impact data architecture, engineering efficiency, and product delivery. You will focus on bringing organizational rigor to large-scale data initiatives, while supporting teams in solving complex challenges with clear roadmaps, priorities, and strategic guidance.

Here’s What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

  • Lead and drive complex, cross-functional data programs by developing and managing detailed program roadmaps, project plans, and timelines, ensuring alignment between data teams, product and engineering partners, and business stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Head of Data and senior leadership to define the data strategy, align on priorities, and report on progress across the organization.
  • Oversee the implementation of critical data initiatives such as Amplitude re-implementation, optimizing CDP platforms like Tealium, and improving tracking across web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and analysts to deliver high-quality, scalable data assets that meet organizational and customer needs.
  • Establish and continuously improve operational procedures to enhance team productivity, streamline communication, and drive program success.
  • Serve as a thought partner for executives, providing strategic insights and recommendations for data programs, including resource allocation, risk management, and technical considerations.
  • Design and implement frameworks that ensure readiness for data-driven changes across the business, building scalable solutions to prepare teams for regular data updates and launches.
  • Build strong relationships with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of data programs that have wide-reaching impacts.
  • Help build Data’s brand within Gusto by creating company-wide communication mechanisms around the work we do

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management at software companies with demonstrated success leading large-scale, cross-functional programs.
  • Deep experience with data engineering processes, architecture, and workflows, including a strong understanding of data platforms, cloud infrastructures, and ETL pipelines.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies, with a solid background in managing scrum teams, product backlogs, and roadmaps using JIRA or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills with the ability to evaluate complex issues and propose data-driven solutions.

Nice to have:

  • Extensive experience implementing tracking solutions for web and mobile apps, as well as familiarity with customer data platforms (e.g., Tealium, Amplitude).
  • 3-5 years of experience managing and mentoring teams, with a proven ability to lead and develop individual contributors.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience in querying databases like Redshift, Snowflake, or similar platforms.

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $170,000-$210,000/year in Denver, Chicago, and Atlanta, $184,000/year - $228,000 in Los Angeles, and $199,000-$247,000/year for Seattle, San Francisco and New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.


Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 daysper week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.

Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.

This role involves working on Oracle Web-based applications supplied to local authorities and central government clients in the UK. Primary required skills are Oracle and PL-SQL along with Oracle Apex but we also use Ruby-on-Rails and Java for some applications.

Qualifications

Essential Experience:

POSITION OVERVIEW

Medalogix is currently seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with a focus on making a considerable difference in the quality, superiority, and reliability of our products. Reporting to the Director of Quality, this position’s responsibilities will be centered around analyzing, testing, and reporting on our product’s overall quality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will collaborate with developers, test engineers, and product managers to deliver exceptional SaaS applications. As a key member of the R&D leadership team, you will lead testing strategy and drive test automation requirements.

Our quality engineering team is dedicated to continuous improvement, optimizing testing processes, automation, innovation, and best practices. As the manager of our quality engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring applications and services meet the standards of quality expected in our SaaS software market.

In this role you will:

  • Manage a team of high performing quality engineers
  • As a hands on manager, design and develop high-quality automated testing code
  • Help product team prioritize quality requirements and be a champion of the engineering team in release/sprint planning
  • Facilitate automated testing code reviews and establish best practices for automated tests
  • Manage performance of direct reports (Review, Rating and Reward)
  • Hire and train/retain top talent on the team
  • Contribute to the technical architecture of Acquia DAM, PIM, and AI projects
  • Collaborate with other engineering managers across the organization
  • Collaborate across the other disciplines in the organization (professional services, sales consultants, product management, executive management)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in managing an engineering team
  • 5-10 years of hands on scripting/coding one or more programming languages (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Groovy, Python) and test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, WebdriverIO, Spock, REST-assured)
  • Intermediate SQL expertise & hands on experience with MySQL (or similar relational databases or NoSQL databases)
  • Expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms and Multi-threading
  • Experience building Microservices and APIs
  • Experience with Agile (eg Scrum) and test driven development
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
  • Knowledge on Amazon Web Service (EC2, S3) or Google Cloud or Azure.

Gives you the edge:

  • Experience working within a Product development organization and therefore contributing to mid/long-term product roadmap and lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Selenium, RSpec

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinate with software engineers and product managers to identify automation needs
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing
  • Guide and set automation coding standards
  • Collaborate with, coach and mentor junior level quality engineers, providing hands-on support as needed
  • Continuously evaluate and contribute to testing strategies and techniques, actively contributing to test automation and performance testing initiatives
  • As a hands-on contributor, write and execute tests to maintain high standards of software quality and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Conduct thorough code reviews for tests authored by other team members, offering valuable feedback and ensuring consistency and robustness in the test suite.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities within an Agile environment
  • Actively troubleshoot and support applications running in production environments
  • Actively promote and execute Quality best practices, tools, and methodologies
  • Actively engage as a participant in our collaborative team environment

  • Demonstrated ability with object-oriented design and coding skills
  • Experience developing test tools and test automation from scratch
  • Experience mentoring other Test Engineers
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Proven Exploratory testing skills, adept at uncovering unforeseen issues in dynamic environments
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools (i.e. Jenkins)
