The Opportunity

The Sr. Front-End Developer will work with the product development team to develop, maintain, and support web development projects at GivingData. The developer must have a strong technical foundation and a full understanding of coding standards and best practices in relation to front-end development in React.

The Senior Front-End Developer reports to the VP, Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features using React and Typescript
  • Migrate existing product features from AngularJS to the modern React stack
  • Work with the product design team to style components using TailwindCSS
  • Ensure web applications meet accessibility standards (such as WCAG) to create inclusive experiences for all users.
  • Document code appropriately for maintainability
  • Guide and support development of tools, infrastructure, and processes within the configuration, build, and release process
  • Translate requirements and user stories into functional and well-architected code
  • Collaborate with different teams and team members on projects
  • Participate in planning meetings, development, estimations, and design sessions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with modern front-end web technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue
  • Strong experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript, and other technologies commonly used in a modern web application stack
  • Working knowledge of front-end product design and UX development
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like git
  • Familiarity with cloud computing infrastructure like Azure or AWS

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of other front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular, Vue.js).
  • Backend experience with Microsoft stack (C#, .net, SQL) or similar
  • Familiarity with server-side rendering techniques (e.g., Next.js).
  • Experience with front-end performance optimization.

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Analyst II to join the Strategic Finance team focused on Instacart Ads. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing team and drive analyses and forecasts for some of our most exciting initiatives. In this role, you will provide financial partnership for business priorities that will have a critical impact on Instacart’s near and long-term success. As a Finance Analyst II, you have both strong attention to detail and the ability to consider the big picture to drive strategic decisions and investment recommendations. You are highly analytical and a clear, confident communicator. 

 

About the Team

Instacart Ads help brands attract and engage customers at every stage of their shopping journey — from initial keyword search and aisle browsing through checkout. About the Job

  • Partner cross-functionally to develop financial models that drive forecasting, strategic decision making, and initiative prioritization for Instacart Ads
  • Generate monthly and quarterly performance and forecast reviews, board meeting and investor presentations, and other financial review presentations for leadership teams
  • Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and analysis, such as building KPI-based models
  • Contribute to short and long range P&L planning
  • Design and implement financial processes that use internal data and KPI’s to monitor and forecast financial performance of advertising business

 

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Math, Economics, Finance, Business or other related field
  • 2-4 years work experience in a relevant field with demonstrated financial acumen and a track record of leveraging data for business impact
  • Proficient in Excel modeling with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with internal stakeholders
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience in consulting, investment banking, or Strategic Finance at a high-growth technology company preferred
  • Work experience with digital advertising or SAAS is a plus but not required
  • SQL knowledge is preferred but not required

Qualifications

Responsibilities:
