In this role, you’ll work directly with our users, helping them solve their technical issues, answer their questions, and make the most of our product. As the first point of contact for many of our users, you’ll ensure they have an exceptional support experience and get what they need to enjoy smoother, seamless outdoor adventures.

What you will do

  • Support our users via email as well as answer their questions on all channels (tickets, forums, social media, store reviews, etc).
  • As the first point of contact, take ownership of customer inquiries and drive each issue toward a swift and effective resolution.
  • Manage cases from start to finish, from initial report and reproduction to writing bug reports and achieving resolution.
  • Handle technically complex and escalated cases.
  • Work with developers and QA to find and solve critical bugs in the wild.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with team members on tasks such as clearing ticket backlogs as they come up.
  • Assist with managing projects and processes that aim to improve how we support our customers.

You’ll be successful in this position if you

  • Are excited to join a customer support team for the long run to make an impact on how people experience the outdoors.
  • Have outstanding communication skills in German and English. Additional languages (e.g. Dutch, Italian, Spanish) are welcome.
  • Are open to flexible scheduling, including occasional weekend support.
  • Have 2+ years experience working in online or tech support, and you love it.  
  • Have a sharp eye for identifying and reporting technical bugs, with proven experience in troubleshooting and guiding customers through resolving issues effectively.
  • Have experience working on improving support processes and documentation.
  • Can explain complex technical topics to both colleagues and customers with a range of technical expertise.

What you'll bring to the Team

  • Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, secure software design principles, and secure software supply chain best practices in production environments.
  • Proven experience collaborating with software development teams, with an understanding of their workflows and challenges.
  • Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Python, Scala, Node, Swift, or Kotlin.
  • Deep understanding of web application vulnerabilities, with practical experience applying OWASP guidelines and best practices.

You will create repeatable and reusable tactics for driving engagement across our university partners' teams, which could include everything from webinars, email nurture, product hooks, etc. You will channel the voice of the customer both quantitatively and qualitatively to rally the necessary people and highlight success.

You will report to the Manager of Education Success, working closely with customer support, sales, and marketing to deliver a world-class customer experience and drive our business through renewals and expansions

Your role

Product Knowledge

  • Answering questions regarding the Handshake product daily

  • Identifying, diagnosing, and helping customers resolve data health issues

  • Expanding and deepening product adoption and usage amongst your career center partners

  • Gathering, documenting, and sharing best practices on how university partners can better leverage the platform to drive student engagement

  • Deeply learning and understanding the career services space (operations, structure, and metrics) 

  • Consulting with university partners on their workflows to help them adapt their processes to the Handshake product and achieve student success

Relationship Management

  • Owning the core and executive relationships and ultimate success for a defined segment of university partners

  • Implementing the program of recurring and on-demand touchpoints with partners

  • Transforming, deepening and leveraging relationships at varied levels with partners which may include developing collaborative programs, specialized meetups and tailored presentations upon request

Partner Success, Health, and Retention

  • Ensuring successful implementation for all new partners and partner offices in your book of business. 

  • Ensuring high and swift renewal rates. This may include the management of detailed contracts and security requests that are nuanced to each partner

  • Tracking detailed subjective health assessments to pair with data-driven account health score.

  • Collaborating with Handshake’s Product and Engineering Teams to ensure that customer needs are met in an efficient and timely manner. 

  • Understanding trends with your accounts via data reporting and dashboards and taking appropriate actions to keep account health high

  • Using Industry landscape, current HigherEd trends, historical relationship health and product to articulate/advice /suggest clear actions

Operations and Marketing

    • Helping scale, develop, document and peer-train on internal processes to support users & peers

    • Assisting with content creation for marketing collateral to university partners

    • Developing the relevant topic, format and audience attendance for targeted programming (meetups) for key Education partners

    • Leading tailored presentations for select stakeholders on all 3 sides of the business (students, career services and employers). 

Your experience

Overview: This role involves working with a strategic set of schools: building deep relationships and providing thought partnership and consultation in their utilization of Handshake. Additional desired qualifications include: Prior experience with the Handshake Product, commitment to travel 3-4 times per month to conduct onsites with partners and comfort with discomfort and an ability to devise creative solutions.

Compensation range

This position directly & indirectly supervises multiple teams of Mobile Software Engineers at various levels, and is responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of their leaders.  The associate will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable law. Such responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; setting goals; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

Your experience

  • 2+ years of Customer Success experience

  • Proven experience with SaaS and ability to quickly learn tech stack

  • Experience working with a book of business (50+) and implementing scalable solutions to support accounts

  • Experience building relationships with customers and navigating complex or difficult conversations

  • Highly articulate, polished, and professional communicator

  • Ability to prioritize workload while maintaining high attention to detail

  • Ability to internalize changing messaging and rapidly incorporate into customer conversations

Compensation range

  • $98,000 - $127,000

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

About the role and about You:

Zwift is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our content discovery team. In this role, you will work on Zwift’s mobile app, Zwift Companion (ZC), delivering high-quality features and ensuring a seamless user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and enhance our React Native solution and maintain our native solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to defining and executing the technical strategy to achieve our team objectives - make it easy for Zwifters to plan and start their experiences in Zwift.

What you’ll do: 

  • Work on software features and tools that will improve Zwift Companion. You’ll be expected to build out a deep understanding of the software and influence primarily your teammates and occasionally other teams and functions.
  • Work on existing native mobile codebases (iOS and  Android) and contribute to building out our React Native solution.
  • Advise your team and manager concerning the state of the software and projects. You’ll partner with your team to take action and solve challenging problems.
  • Continually drive software engineering best practices within the team. You’ll embrace experimentation and iteration and mentor others along the same lines.
  • Where possible you’ll evaluate systemic root causes with the help of senior and staff engineers. 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in native mobile development (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android).
  • Experience with React Native and building cross-platform mobile applications.
  • Experience with structured, methodical problem solving and debugging.
  • Track record of participating in constructive dialogue with an engineering team.
  • Experience applying expertise to solve problems and being able to learn quickly when in a new situation.

Bonus points: 

  • Proficiency in React Native alongside native mobile development.
  • Experienced working with geographically distributed teams.
  • Passionate about the fitness, wellness or gaming space.

The base salary for this position ranges between $105,000 to $165,000. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
