We are looking for a Trust & Safety Manager to join our global Trust & Safety Platform Compliance team, and lead our team of Trust & Safety Investigators. As manager, you will further develop and enhance our Trust & Safety policies and procedures, to ensure efficiencies and exceptional customer experience. You will be leading a global team of highly skilled Trust & Safety Investigators, and getting your hands dirty with the team in the queues, to create, modify and enhance our policies and processes. You will also partner with the Trust & Safety Platform Integrity team to provide support as needed on abuse investigations. This is a position where you will also gain familiarity with the inner workings of Cloudflare’s technologies and policies.

This role is a hybrid one, located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Trust & Safety Platform Compliance team in Malaysia with effective leadership, ability to hire and retain talented staff, ability to train and develop a team in Trust & Safety issues
  • You will develop deep expertise on the processes and be responsible for driving continuous process improvement initiatives, with a particular focus on customer experience
  • Create and implement proactive measures to stop abusive behaviour while minimizing potential false positives
  • Handle abuse complaints regarding DMCA, Trademark, Phishing, CSAM, ICANN domain compliance and escalated issues
  • Handle and manage Takedown notices on behalf of Cloudflare
  • Investigate account compromises and take-overs through to resolution.
  • Through data-driven insights, you will develop recommendations for process improvements, new process standards, and agent tooling improvements that enable a more frictionless, consistent experience, and increased team efficiency
  • You will operationalize these recommendations through strong project management in partnership with Trust & Safety, Finance, Product, and others.
  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on Platform Compliance
  • Interact with internal and external partners such as vendors to improve Platform Compliance capabilities
  • Deal with sensitive content and emotionally charged escalations with tact and a calm demeanor.
  • Ensure that ongoing operations maintain a high level of stakeholder satisfaction
  • You will be part of an on-call leadership team, and may be a part of weekend and holiday coverage schedule

Requirements:

  • You have a strong 5-8 years of anti-abuse or support escalations experience at an Internet Service Provider, hosting provider, or similar type of role.
  • You have 2-3 years experience leading a team
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of DNS and how the Internet works
  • Working knowledge of the domain name registration / registrar space
  • Experience managing sensitive content and emotionally charged escalations with tact and a calm demeanor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Prior experience in leading a highly distributed team that is fully remote
  • You have a working knowledge of query language and data analysis tools such as BigQuery, Tableau, etc.

Responsibilities 

KIPP Forward Strategy 

  • In collaboration with the Schools team, ensure that students have the academic results, networks, mindsets, and resources needed to be “college and career ready” 

  • Develop and continually refine the vision for the KIPP Forward model, i.e. all of the inputs needed for KIPP adults (families, school principals and teams, KIPP Forward practitioners, regional leaders) to propel and support students to college-and-career readiness and through the postsecondary-education access and success 

  • In collaboration with the Foundation data and analytics team, lead ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of the KIPP Forward model, including quality of program implementation by school, region and nationally and student outputs and outcomes 

 

Implementation Leadership 

Serve as executive sponsor of excellent, equitable implementation of the KIPP Forward program in regions, including: 

  • Asserting and reinforcing the “why” of the One KIPP – KIPP Forward “play” with KIPP Forward regional leads 
  • Co-leading meetings, trainings, and PDs with KIPP Forward directors, counselors, advisors and career-preparation leads 
  • Liaising with KIPP Forward – KF coaches and School teams to navigate specific regional dynamics in program implementation 

Lead continuous improvement of the KIPP Forward program, including: 

  • Conducting school visits and on-the-ground observations to gauge implementation fidelity and integrity 
  • Analyzing formative data on practitioner praxis to recommend process and practice refinements 
  • Reflecting on implementation and results through the lenses of diversity, equity, inclusion, access and power 
  • Initiating and supporting program and process innovation towards better and better student outcomes 

 

Team Leadership/Management 

Ensure strategic alignment between KIPP Forward and the Schools team:  

  • Model decision-making, action and reflection through the lens of agreed-upon team agreements 
  • Lead effective team meetings, training and professional development to learn from program results, Foundation colleagues, the voice of network practitioners and students, and one another 
  • Lead regular step-backs and retreats to reflect on and continually evolve the processes, products and relationships that the team enacts with one another, with Foundation cross-team members and with the community  
  • Support the team in applying an equity lens in work within and across teams and with the network community  
  • Manage the leaders of each KIPP Forward function: Counseling and Match, College-and-Career Success, Scholarships, Professional Development and Training 

  • Ensure effective management of each KIPP Forward team member by coaching and supporting team managers 

  • Build and execute the annual team budget, delivering the KIPP Forward program to effective results within budget allocation  

 

Organization Leadership 

  • Contribute to the continued evolution of the KIPP theory of change and theory of action as a college-and-career preparatory, high-performing pre-K-12 public school network 

  • Lead onboarding and training for school and regional leaders on the KIPP Forward program 

  • Develop and implement knowledge-sharing process to regularly share out inputs, outputs, outcomes and learnings with the Schools team, KIPP Foundation senior leadership and regional leaders

About the Role

The  Deal Desk Data Analyst/Process Role will help accelerate revenue growth of our enterprise business by supporting our sales motion to create quality deals. As the deal desk leader for our sales team, you will be responsible for:

THE ROLE

Pathstream is hiring a Coach with strong attention to detail and motivational skills to work 1:1 with individuals by supporting and motivating them in articulating their next step career goal.  The Coach will quickly build trust with individuals who work full-time in front-line and supervisor/managerial roles and are looking for career clarity, support in their work and professional development opportunities.  This is a part-time, contract position that is remote and based out of your home location. This role reports to Pathstream’s Coaching Operations Team.  

Coaches will  have experience in providing guidance and support to individuals who are employed as frontline workers at Fortune 500 companies to enhance their job skills and achieve their professional goals.  You have experience in developing coaching plans, assisting in goal setting and helping individuals overcome personal and professional barriers.  You are able to assess the professional strengths and weaknesses of individuals and help them work towards their goals through mindset shifts, reflection, activities and skill building.  You have experience in supporting individuals through acute work-related issues.    

A Coach will spend approximately 15-25 hours a week (depending on your availability and demand from individuals) meeting 1:1 with individuals to guide them through the career development process. A coach should be constructive and encouraging while equipping individuals with the knowledge they need to navigate the challenges of the workplace.

Coaches will also attend and participate in regular coaching team meetings by providing feedback and sharing insights about individuals and trends. Coaches will complete required tasks within 72 hours after coaching calls, including documenting coaching notes and sending follow-up emails to individuals. 

ABOUT YOU

Required Competencies: 

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in career coaching, executive coaching or life coaching
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing coaching plans
  • Proven ability to offer effective 1:1 support to acute and long-term challenges 
  • Strong communicator with the ability to 1) actively listen, 2) encourage and motivate individuals, while building trust, 3) ask intentional and thoughtful open-ended questions to challenge individuals thinking and 4) provide clear and concise written and verbal guidance and support
  • Prompt, responsive and professional communicator able to respond to emails and Slack messages from individuals and Pathstream employees within 24 hours 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a highly adaptive, agile team
  • Passion for helping others achieve their career goals

Preferred Competencies: 

  • 4-6 years experience in career coaching, executive coaching, or life coaching
  • Experience in career or workplace coaching for front-line (entry-level) roles 
  • Certified Coach (e.g. ICC, ICF, BCC, etc)
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings

Additional Information: 

  • Project Length: 6-month contract with option to extend  
  • Start date: Immediate
  • Hourly Rate: $35-$45, based on experience
