Senior GenAI Engineer

We're seeking a visionary Senior GenAI Engineer to pioneer AI-powered solutions in healthcare. In this role, you'll harness cutting-edge generative AI technologies to tackle challenges creating scalable services that push the boundaries of what's possible in healthcare technology.
As a Senior GenAI Engineer, you will:
- Architect and implement robust, AI-driven solutions that seamlessly integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI technologies into our healthcare applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business needs into innovative technical solutions
- Optimize AI features for both customer-facing and internal applications, ensuring peak performance and efficiency
- Lead complex projects independently, driving innovation in healthcare AI
Success in this role looks like:
- Successfully lead the design and implementation of at least one significant GenAI-powered feature or service
- Establish effective working relationships with executive leadership, product, data science, and healthcare teams
- Stay at the forefront of GenAI advancements and successfully integrate new technologies into the company's products
You should get in touch if you have:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on AI and machine learning
- Mastery of Python or Go, and JavaScript (TypeScript preferred)
- Proven track record of integrating and working with state-of-the-art LLMs (GPT-3, GPT-4, BERT) and open-source alternatives (LLaMA, Mistral) in production environments
- Strong foundation in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and applications
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture
- Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Expertise in vector databases, efficient retrieval methods for LLMs, and familiarity with PostgreSQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of healthcare data and regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $226,000. Final pay is based on several factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data, and the applicant’s education, work experience, certifications, etc
